Remanufactured parts are not new, they are remanufactured(used). This means that you have someone else's core that was returned to Daccoto be rebuilt. How do you know it was not rebuilt? Was the partinstalled or tested? Is it defective? You cannot ascertain from looking at aremanufactured part...

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is unsatisfactory to me.  Revdex.com, I received one charge for two parts I ordered, only one shipped via UPS, only on tracking number was created, which showed only 1 3lb box being shipped and "delivered".  The other part (which was 90% of the value of my order) was purposefully kept by PartsGeek.com, since they only created a single 3lb shipping label, with one tracking number, that said "box 1 of 1" for the one part they did send me (which was defective).  A straight up scam.The part I did receive ($30) was many years old, not properly packaged, and not for my specific car (2015 Sonic RS), the part fits a 2012-2013 Sonic, I threw it out.  Basically this place is one giant scam and that's why I wasn't surprised to see so many comments.  My time is valuable, so I'm not wasting it contacting a scam artist, instead I immediately filed a dispute with [redacted], filed a claim here, and what do you know, I just got two e-mails with some BS reason automated reason about why the error occurred and how they're so sorry and refunding me right away even though I never contacted them.I will never do business with this company again.

Reviewing our records, Mr. [redacted] first contacted us 09/25/2015 to advise us the order received, the packaging was in good condition however the boxes the struts were in were damaged, torn...

Our agent then processed a return authorization for Mr. [redacted] and a pre paid shipping label to Mr. [redacted]’s email address of [redacted] on 09/25/2016 We were unaware of any of Mr. [redacted]’s issues of not receiving the shipping label or any other concerns since our response on ticket # [redacted] on 09/25/2015. Mr. [redacted] contacted us again ticket # [redacted] Wed, Feb 10 2016 07:50pm again stating “The order was missing one of the beveled washers and both nuts.” Our agent then responded Thu, Feb 11 2016 08:42am “At the current time we do not have miscellaneous hardware to send out. The item would have to be returned for a full refund and a replacement item ordered.” Mr. [redacted] responded Thu, Feb 11 2016 04:19pm” Would I have to pay the return postage and restocking fee to return these struts?? Our agent responded Fri, Feb 12 2016 09:03am “No restocking fees will be issued for damaged parts and/or missing parts. Your initial contact with us back in September first advising us about the issue, we emailed you a prepaid shipping label to send back the damaged/missing pieces parts. Was that ever received? That label has expired so we will send out another one to you today via your email address. Please check your spam and junk folders for the email (which will be coming directly from UPS) Once the parts have been returned to our warehouse we will issue a full refund. If you are interested in purchasing a replacement it will have to be re-ordered. However, it should be noted on further investigation, I discovered that the company uses a service called "SmartPost" through [redacted]  A [redacted] employee informed me over the telephone that the service for my package had an estimated delivery of 7 - 14 days (and it was actually delivered to my door even later than that).  "Buyer beware":  The estimated shipping time of 3 - 7 days as posted on PartsGeek website is outright dishonest.

I am rejecting this response because: The part they sent me was completely useless. They have had that part for over two weeks now so they can visually inspect it and tell that it was built as I described it and not the way it should have been made.The on line reviews of this company seem to indicate that this the way partsgeek.com operates, when you have a return, they hit you with a restocking fee even when they send you the wrong part.The anonymous customer service rep who I was dealing with never even mentioned that he could send a pick-up ticket. Also, I have never had anyone ask to have a picture taken of a defective product. I found that demand preposterous and burdensome.Also, why do they ask now whether the car is a convertible or hard top? Shouldn't their online ordering have asked that? It doesn't.

Revdex.com: I have finally received my refund. I am sad to say, I will not be doing any more business with this company. Customers should be put on a high priority list, especially in the auto parts industry.
