Very efficient. Priced the job, and then stuck to the estimate. good people to work with. Recommended

I had water on my basement floor-they came out took THREE photos with their cell phone and said I had an expensive problem on my hands and left-they later called and quoted me almost 7 thousand dollars and told me my whole unit needed to be replaced and that it was cracked. I asked how they could conclude this since they hadn't taken anything apart or even looked at it and was told that it is a "no brainer" if it is leaking, it's cracked and needs to be replaced.
I called elsewhere for a second opinion-the pipe in my ceiling-above the unit was leaking. This man repair the leak for $100.00.
What a SCAM...DO NOT TRUST!!!!!

The technician, Tom S., was very courteous and helpful in answering all my questions regarding problems I had with the well water. He was very professional in determining the problem and resolving the problem in an acceptable amount of time today. After a few hours, the water was running smoothly again! Thank you, Tom. And thank you, Jonathan, the customer service representative who set up the appointment. I definitely recommend Solvit Home Services because of their professionalism and excellent results.

Had Arron A of Solvit CT do electrical work for me today. He replaced 2 closet lights with LED lights and put in wall switches instead of pull strings. Also had him put in a new LED ceiling fixture in my kitchen and remove the old flour. one. I was very happy with his work, consideration, in fact everything. I will use Solvit and Arron again for sure and will recommend to others.

Excellent service. Aaron was thorough and helpful and I will be calling them for our electrical needs.

Matt was on-time and did a very good job.

Have been using Solvit for the last 10 years as my furnace and a/c yearly maintenance service....friendly and knowledgeable techs.....(had MattL the last few times), Techs usually show up within scheduled time period. If a conflict arises the home office will call you to let you know the reason. Also office customer service Reps(AshleyR, this time) are always willing to help with any questions or problems you may have. Like the website...nice to put a name with a face. Thank you all.

Massimo provided exceptional service, going way above and beyond the stated repair to determine why my system was not working properly and correcting what he could while arranging to have further repairs made by others.

Aaron A[redacted] was so good at fixing our very difficult electrical problem which could have done serious damage to our house. I can't praise him enough for taking our dangerous archaic system up to 2016 code.
One negative comment with Solvit is their list prices are very high.
But with Aaron's excellent work, we will now sleep comfortably.

Rich was professional and knowledgable. He took the time to fully answer
all of my questions. His energy audit was thorough.

Joe D was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time and patience to explain things to me. I was very impressed with his professionalism. I am sure he is an asset to Solvit.

Excellent experience

Massimo did a fine job today. He tuned our furnace and explained to me what repairs will be needed soon. He explained what Solvit has to offer but was not pushy. Very impressed with him.

Clarification to the "several trips" - after the first person came to repair the gasline in my stove, he did not turn the gas back on, therefore someone else had to come to fix that.  Also, I never swore, I did get loud, but only to be able to complete my info since the rep on the phone kept bestowing the virtues of Solvit without listening to my concerns.
Glad to have this over with.  Many thanks for your help!!!

Attached please find the letter we are mailing to our customer on 3-19-15.
In the letter it describes how we covered a [redacted] fan motor for over $1500 cost which was not covered under any of our warrantees as the age of it was over 5 years old yet we felt bad about the heat exchanger costs the...

customer incurred. Without such a gesture the customer would have incurred over $3200 in cost for both the [redacted] motor and replacement of the heat exchanger.
We want to do what's fair to both parties and welcome any thoughtful reply and input from the customer as we value their business.

The technician was well prepared (had all the tools needed to complete the job), knowledgable (experienced working on the equipment and had proper training) and thorough (not hurried and verified equipment was working properly before leaving).
Customer service kept us informed by calling to inform us that the technician was on the way.

First let me say that we are sorry about your service experience and know that we take our customers trust in us very seriously. In terms of pricing we subscribe to a national pricing service which prices by the job and not by the hour. Our thousands of customers welcome this because...

the repairs do not grow hourly with time spent.  I cannot  and will not comment about other companies pricing as it would not be appropriate to do so nor on their service capabilities but to say that in efforts to earn your business, companies at times may discount or make statements not always accurate or with full understanding. In fact our home protection plan for $249.00 covers "ALL" the home comfort systems, etc. in your home plus many other benefits which is "pennies" on the dollars of what our competitors offer. Our prices are at time much lower and at time higher than our competitors but our customers believe that the overall value of the products, services, total customer experience, employing background checked and drug tested employees, having licensed , uniformed technicians etc. is a great value for most. Our technicians are trained to bring to your attention things that should be or may soon need to be addressed. We always provide pricing prior to and receive acceptance before work begins. It appears based on your comments this did not take place and for that we are in error and we do apologize. We do have a customer satisfaction policy and want to do whatever possible to make our customers happy. In your case you did speak with one of our representatives and she did issue you a credit and you were pleased with the outcome per our recorded phone conversation on file. This being said we failed to issue the credit in our accounting department and have since credited your account. In closing we hope you are please with the outcome and hope to serve you again in the future.Regards,Management
