On May 15th * * *** hired a moving company by the name of *** *** ***They came and pick up my things at *** *** *** *** **to be delivered in **It was supposed to be a month free storage so I took that on my move back to *** On the 5th of June 2018I received a call from a gentleman telling me they will be coming to my place next day to bring my thingsI said I had no knowledge of this then he ask if I had the forms to receive my goods from the companyI said no did not get those formsThen he said ok someone will call me backA lady call by the name Susan Kshe was the manager and said she apologized she will send the form to me to received my goods just sign it with date to received, also the ok from the building that they can park on my streetI give the date 9th July for delivery, and I got the ok where to offload from the buildingThen I fax back the forms to herMy original balance was $I already paid $ As a down payment

I hired Spartan Van Lines in February to conduct a cross country move on 8/13/ They failed to contact me or showed up on the date agreed to They later stated they had a day window in the fine print after assuring me time and time again that my move would occur on 8/13/ Then, they didn't show up until 6:pm on 8/14/18...no phone calls, no communication, no return calls Then, the cost of the move is now 3x the estimate Now, I understand an estimate is an estimate, but 3x the estimated cost? They were charging me for tape and boxes even though I had already packed my boxesHe said everything needed to be boxed to put on the truck! This company *** *** *** operates under the name Spartan Van Lines, which is also the name of another company that is highly reviewedThey have had their license revoked involuntarily multiple times and have other online complaints of deception
Beyond this they recently came (04/11/18) to pick up our household goodsOn the way to the vehicle they damaged the condo common area causing hundreds of dollars in damageThey movers then tried to leave without anyone noticing but a neighbor tracked them down and complainedThese same individuals in the beginning demanded that I sign all forms (to include inventory list and additional items used for packing) even though there was no way to know the final amount until they were finishedYet, they tried but failed to push me into signing stating they would not start until I signedEventually they came back and said I can sign when they actually fill out the form
I never would have used this company if they were not called Spartan

This company has been verbally lying to me since I first booked this job
They have provided me with inaccurate information and are not able to provide with updates on when I will receive my delivery or where my items areThey are holding my belongings ransom and I am extremely concerned
Since I filed a Revdex.com complaint, Susan in customer service refuses to speak to me and was completely rude to me when I tried, once again to find out information about my delivery
It's hard to tell a consumer you are doing everything you can when you are unable to provide answers on the customer's belongings after having them for over two weeksIt is inexcusable for a moving company to not know where a customer's belongings are at all times

Daniel who just happens to be a con artistI went through the regular ritual, you know the drill...The itemized listI told him everything I have down to the dust on my boxes and bins

Hello everyone, I used Spartan Van lines for my move from West Palm Beach FL to Lawrenceville GA and they were beyond horrible! They lied about there prices, they had unprofessional people as movers, they took forever to deliver my items and once they got to G.Athe second set of movers were lazy, rude and didn't put none of my items together and left all of my boxes in my garage and told me that the company don't place boxes in the roomsNot to mention they left some my items God knows where and 75% of my stuff looked like someone purposely broke itI'm not going to let them get a way with thisThey totally breached their contact!!!!!!

After my mother passed away on July 25th, 2018, my family traveled from NJ to her Florida apartment to process her possessions Based on an online rating, we called *** *** *** for moving the property They contracted with Spartan Van Lines to move the property from an Orlando, Flwarehouse to our house in New Jersey Spartan Van Lines treated us with poor communication, delay tactics, and demands for payment before providing service They ultimately delivered they property over business days after the first available day for delivery Their contract guaranteed delivery within business days from the first available day for delivery As a result, they demanded an additional $for "storage fees" prior to unloading the delivery truck A most unprofessional truck driver demanded an additional $prior to unloading the truck for extra delivery distance from the truck and a stairway Based on the post-contract services form, at least $70, and at most, $
