After my mother passed away on July 25th, 2018, my family traveled from NJ to her Florida apartment to process her possessions Based on an online rating, we called *** *** *** for moving the property They contracted with Spartan Van Lines to move the property from an Orlando, Flwarehouse to our house in New Jersey Spartan Van Lines treated us with poor communication, delay tactics, and demands for payment before providing service They ultimately delivered they property over business days after the first available day for delivery Their contract guaranteed delivery within business days from the first available day for delivery As a result, they demanded an additional $for "storage fees" prior to unloading the delivery truck A most unprofessional truck driver demanded an additional $prior to unloading the truck for extra delivery distance from the truck and a stairway Based on the post-contract services form, at least $70, and at most, $

This moving company picked up our belongings at *** *** st., South Amboy, NJ on July 27th and is suppose to call or email me with a delivery date to ship to our florida address, to date 8/11/we have not received a phone call or email, we are sleeping on the floor We already paid them $6, We have called them numerous times , once we got hold of someone and was told they don't know when we will receive our belongings, then called again many times only to receive their voice mail box, with no returned calls when they picked up our belongs, they did not bring a truck big enough and we had to leave our washing machine, freezer, bakers rack, tools, and many other items we had listed to be moved

My main issue with the company was that I did not get a call the day before my move like I was told I wouldIf I did, I would have been able to update my inventory and get the $per cu ft like I was toldI was the one who actually called Quality Assurance the day before my move (since I had not received a call) and I left a message with ChristianIn addition, I also emailed the main email and cc Fernanda about the issueNobody called me backI had to call after my pickup to confirm that my messages were received and that’s when I asked if something could be done about the charge per cuft since the moving company did not hold up their end of your contract (in regards to calling the customer ahead of time to ensure proper inventory)

I called a moving company previously used by my mother to move from NJ to GeorgiaThe number was directed to a new company who said they just changed the name to Spartan Van LinesNow it it is called something differentI made a deposit with one personAnother called me about the pickup and added extra money based on what the items I had describedThe pickup was on July 6, The driver asked me for in cash plus a check for the differenceI said absolutely notThen after checking to see what was to be moved the price jumped by nearly more!!! I hired this company over a month ago to move my things from Indiana to FL I still don't have my things and it is the middle of April When you call the office, they answer the phone 40% of the time and that after trying to reach every department (just to get someone on the phone) The manager was snappy and rude with me on different occasions I had several revised contracts, but their system doesn't let you access them after you've signed one, so I have no proof of any changes that were madeThe price went up by $ I waited a couple of weeks for them to "figure out what's going on with" my stuff I've had to pay hundreds of dollars to get things for my new home that I already have sitting in a warehouse or truck somewhere in America The last I heard, someone was supposed to call me in 24-hours to schedule my delivery Well, that time frame has passed I need and want my things!
