attempting to cancel my account however website is showing I am currently receiving Spotify for free I am not receiving it for free as I am being charged every month for the premium plan The website is very vague on how to cancel my subscription and there is no phone # to call to be able to speak with anyone I have spent the better part of days following the instructions to cancel and am unable to do so
I contacted spotify and told them that my account was being charged twice for service They only refunded me one of the payments and switched my account to free, but if they switched my account to free, they should have refunded both payments I kept showing them pictures of my account and they were saying that they were not really taking the money out but it was an issue with my bank I then showed them again that they requested the money and it was taken out So they refunded both things back and switched my account to free The very next month they were still charging my account twice They did not want to refund me the money until I told them that my account should have never been charged and showed them where they had said to switch my account They then told me that they were going to refund my money but never did, which caused my account to go into the negative and fees to be accrued on my bank accountThen they claimed they needed some information in order to refund the money back but I had already given them the info because that's how they did my original refund I have the e-mails to prove everything
Hello,This case is now with our payments team, and have reached out to the customer.Regards,*** *** ***Spotify
We won't be refunding all of the chargesThe customer knows the person the account belongs to, meaning we're unable to refund the paymentsThere are two *** payments on the account, one of which we've refundedIf they would like a refund for the other payment, they'll need to contact either *** or their card provider.
The account is now on our free service, so they won't be charged again.
Thanks,

I found a fraudulent charge on my credit card bill from ADY Spotify USA for $on * Jan I do NOT have a Spotify account and there is no way to contact them without signing in and giving additional information There is an online form I found in their community forum, which is NOT a path to resolution of any problems I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge, and they immediately transferred me to the fraud department, because they said they are finding this charge on several customer accounts who do not use Spotify I have to cancel my current card and be issued another Now I have to update numerous auto-pay sites, all because of this fraudulent charge from Spotify

Hello,
I have checked this customer's case in our system and can see my colleague has now transferred all the playlists over, we have also redeemed a month of premium on the account to make up for the payment that had recently been made on the broken account, and we have
responded to the customer to let her know what has been done
The response was delayed as we are experiencing a higher than usual volume of contacts, but we are still here to help
This case is now resolved and everything is in order
Kind Regards,

Hi there,
I have read through the correspondence with yourself, I see no willingness to un help, could you please outline this in specific so I can address where you feel to be neglected as a customer
Spotify do not operate a phone support line, however do
support via email, twitter, Facebook and forums.
The agents here are trying to find the charges for you, however this does mean answering a few questions as you would have done over the phone, just via a different medium.
To resolve this case, we will need to find out where the charge is coming from so we can refund you any money and cancel the subscriptionThis does mean answering the question from my colleagues.
Would you prefer if I continued on that thread?
Kind regards

[Your Answer Here]
Spotify has in no way resolved my complaintAll they've done for the past month is lie, deny involvement, and modify their lies based on my responses
At first they claimed they didn't even have the ability to log in to my ***, then they said they couldn't find my account, then they changed their answer to: actually, we can log in to your ***, and we will continually do so because you gave us permission to one time, over three years agoThis, despite the fact that I revoked their access to my *** immediately after they posted what I was listening to, and I went as far as to deactivate my *** account.I can provide the emails between myself and spotify if the Revdex.com wishes to see the progression of spotify's lies.

Hey there,
We had an issue with our payment system, and it looks like the subscriptions weren't cancelled properlyWe've now sorted this out and will respond to the customer.
Thanks,
I have been a premium spotify customer for a few years now but a few days I caught a virus on my phone forcing me to master reset itWhen I logged in to my spotify account I noticed they reduced me to a basic customer telling me I should join their premium serviceI was offended because they had just taken their payment from my account and taken away the premium services I was paying for right along with it: I made several attempts to contact spotify but they hide and play games and they have not responded to either of my attempts I have emailed them times I even tried their help link and survey and tried to reach them through there because they make like they care and value their customers but in actuality they do not I uninstalled facebook months ago and spotifies information board is telling everyone that they have to connect to facebook in order to cancel their subscriptionI did that I reinstalled facebook and I do not see spotify in any of the options let alone to ca
After cancelling my membership, they continued to take dollars from for an additional monthsThey do not list a customer service number on their website and there is no way for me to get to the bottom of this
Bought $worth of Spotify gift cards for my daughter for Christmas only to learn today that if you have a student or family account you are not able to use the gift cards I contacted both Spotify and Target (where I purchased them) to no availOn Target's website under the details section it does not state that these gift cards cannot be used if you have a student accountTo me this is where this information should be statedAlso on Target's website it states the gift cards do not expire but according to Spotify's website they expire after months - not sure which is accurateAlso, why does Spotify care where the gift card money is spent; it is money to themBeyond frustrated!

Spotify has been asked my many paying and unpaying members of its music streaming platform to allow filters for explicit/obscene advertisementsTheir response was to pay them money to get rid of themThis is not acceptable and is likely illegal since many families use Spotify to listen to music with children presentIn addition, Spotify also refuses to provide a filtering function in their platform which could be implemented easily due to the fact that songs are already labelled explicit but cannot be automatically skipped. They also base ads on Facebook connected profile age
Spotify needs to be held accountable for their disregard for decency as they have intentionally ignored users outcry for filtering or control over explicit/obscene ads and songs coming up without their controlTheir solution: buy premium
This is not acceptable and shows they don't care about their customers or family media decencyUsers should not have to pay for control over the adsFurthermore, expl
I always pay my CC without looking at charges I just happen to see I have charges for $since April! I called my cc company and they gave me a number to call First of all I couldn't understand them, then they are forcing me to purchase things for $processing fee As I am recorded saying no they come back on the line to try and argue with me into saying yes The way I look at it, you owe me $for services I have not even used I do not have spotify and neither does my year old!!! I am also filing with my bank for fraud!!!!
