I started missing deliveries again in August and at times missed two a week since.
I have called more than 15 times to report a missed delivery and would be told it would be sent out. However, I still have not received them.
I would like the deliveries to be more reliable.

We apologize for all the miss deliveries and are working with the Distribution company to rectify the misses.  The Distributor is monetarily dinged for every missed delivery and it is up to them to ding the carrier.  Everytime you called in a complaint was put on carrier mail for the...

carrier to see.  We have escalated this to the Delivery Manger over all of the Missouri Delivery.  We have given you 15.90 in credits which extends your subscription by that many days.  You will not see a credit on your bill.  We have a new Distributor working with the carriers in your area and are expecting a good outcome with delivery. The 1.99 is an average weekly rate. Using the premium editions as noted on page A2 of the newspaper,actual invoice will vary by each 13 week cycle.

We added money onto the account going back to 1/20/17Your last payment of 32.94 + 16 days = 49.55 + 4.41 that was still on your account.  Totaled $53.84

We take calls for redelivery Mon-Friday 6am til 9am and on Sat and Sun 6 am to 10am.  Any calls after these times about missing deliveries are credited and not redelivered.  Our records show that this customer had problems in November and December. Since then they have only complained...

Since I made the complaint the paper has been properly delivered on the two Sundays that have elapsed. If that performance continues it is a satisfactory solution.
However, I take great exception to the allegation "We have tried to contact them and were hung up on." The phone number listed in the complaint is a landline connected to an answering machine. I only answer it when it is an immediate family member or close friend. All other calls go to the recorder. There were no messages from the St. Louis Post Dispatch since the complaint was made.
The allegation is a misstatement of fact, which again, in my mind, raises questions of integrity. There is no point in belaboring this right now. If the performance is satisfactory I will be satisfied. If performance fail I will make another complaint

We have a new carrier now delivering to them.  Their account has been credited for the missed deliveries.

The Distributor has talked to the carrier about their concerns...

We have corrected his billing and will send a new bill...

We have not heard from this customer since 10/14/16. We assume that delivery has been taken care of.
