I am rejecting this response because: They do not admit that the selections available are indeed misleading and have caused a significant impact in my vacation. I do not think it is right for Priceline to trick you into staying in a location you do not want.  I do see what they are saying and have looked at the map and see that there is an area of shaded area that skirts out away from the [redacted] to include this hotel. This is not good business and is very deceitful. Yes, I should have looked closer at the map, but honestly even if I had I'm not sure that I would have done anything differently.  The fact that I am booking a hotel says that I am not familiar with location and when I check a box that says [redacted] it seems reasonable that I am selecting hotel options on the [redacted]. When you consider further that I did not check the box that says Near [redacted] it makes even more sense that I would reasonably assume that I would be staying in a hotel on the [redacted]. I am traveling to [redacted] for the [redacted] experience and increased my bid accordingly because it was worth it to me to pay more to be in the middle of the action.  If my plan was to stay in a hotel off the [redacted] that doesn't even have a casino in it you can imagine I would have lowered my bid considerably.  I am sure nothing will ever come of this but it is very sad that Priceline is not willing to even admit that what they have done is wrong and deceitful and will make no attempt to fix it.  It should not be ok to have you check a box that says on the [redacted] and then give you a hotel that is not on the [redacted].  I am a reasonable person and understand that I assume a level of risk when bidding on hotels and might not be thrilled with the outcome.  This has actually happened in the past and I never said a thing because it happens.  This however is different, I am out a considerable amount of money to stay at a hotel that was not even close to being what I selected. Yes, I get that they have their out but it doesn't change the fact that it is misleading.  I am the only one that will pay, ruined vacation and out the cash.

The entire practice is deceptive. My agreement was for $30 per night and the total ended up being double and you locking me into the rate with no chance of getting out of it.  I will be filing a chargeback since you are so unwilling to help consumers. I will be posting reviews on the major sites consumer reviews etc. on why to never use your company. This practice is entirely deceptive and fraudulent. If I have to i'll take it to small claims court and the send the very obvious outcome of the case to the media for these dispicable practices.

rental car company will consider the reservation a no show and release the car
if it was not picked up as scheduled. This is the standard procedure. We

representatives if the ticket can be transferred to another person.
For you reservation, any option we can present you will be based on the
fare rules associated with your ticket. Fare rules are being governed by
the airline. We, as travel agency, are bound to abide by the ticket fare
rules. We can only offer you options that the airline would allow us to
offer,
Per fare rules, your ticket cannot be transferred to another person's
name. The airline will consider this a direct violation of their
nontransferable policy. Also, the ticket is non-refundable. However, the
value can be placed on hold for future travel. Once the ticket has been
placed on hold, you can use the value towards a new reservation for an
airline fee of $200, Priceline service fee of $30 and you will be
responsible for any fare difference. Also, the travel has to be
completed before September 30, 2016.
Please be reminded, should you want to place the value of your ticket on
hold, this should be done at least, 2 hours before your departure date.
After that time, the airline will forfeit the value of your reservation.

have received the consumer’s additional comments. As you requested, I have
again reviewed this matter to see if we overlooked anything that might support
a more favorable conclusion. As noted on the consumer’s contract page, the consumer
was offered the option to request a bed type preference, and Priceline cannot
guarantee a requested bed type. Consumers who wish to receive a specific bed
type have the option to visit our Published Price service and select a room
rate offering a specific bed type.

consumer any further in this situation.

[redacted] The purpose of making a reservation is to fulfill a need so that when a customer arrives the product is available.  It is an implied contract.  I understand you did not charge me for the first transaction but Priceline’s failure to fulfill its contract obligations resulted in additional costs for me when I was stranded.  I am asking for these costs to be reimbursed and good will be given to prove you can deliver on future contracts.  This is outlined in detail in my original complaint.  If you do not feel it is Priceline’s responsibility to meet its contractual obligations, then my complaint stands and I will use other service providers in the future.  I also have no problem sharing my complaint and your response with bloggers.  I think consumers should be informed that they may be stranded as Priceline does not back its reservations.

In the previous step for selecting the hotels for express deals, the requirements were specified as hotels in this area with free breakfast and free parking.They are not normally not included as guaranteed but included in the hotel amenities in the same area.Like, free parking is included in this hotel even though it is not guaranteed, but they charge for breakfast.

Complaint

I made a flight reservation through priceline.com. I paid 482.72 for 2 tickets that I verified with my bank. I was on the phone with priceline and [redacted]. My flight was cancelled without me being notified because the tickets were suspended since priceline never paid [redacted]...

for the tickets. That flight was actually cancelled. I have spend 5 hours yesterday and I've been on hold with priceline today and they refuse to give me a refund. I had to book another flight and pay for myself because they refuse to book another flight for me, however they said they are non refundable tickets but I never cancelled the flight. They were suspended for non payment by priceline and my bank has never received a credit for the cancelled flight. How do I get my refund from an online booking company

I am looking to receive a refund from priceline. They tell me that [redacted] owes me but we verified with [redacted] that they never received payment. Someone owes me a refund.
