Complaint [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:On reading this text from Priceline I can see that the cancellation policy — and the fact that you cannot get a refund — is explained at the very endBut it is not called attention to in any special wayIf it is not possible to get a refund most other e-commerce sites put that information in bold type or call attention to it so the customer really notices itThis is a clearly established best practice in the world of online shoppingPriceline buries this information amidst all the other text on the siteI never saw it and assumed that my purchase would be refundableI have made reservations many times via other sites like Expedia and have been able to cancelI just assumed this would be the sameAs a consumer I am appalled that Priceline operates their business in this wayI can see that as a consumer I may not have any other options for resolution to get my money back, but if the Revdex.com has any suggestions I would be very gratefulI think it is a reprehensible business practice that Priceline is happy to simply take $from me when of course they could refund my reservation if they wanted to.Is it possible for the Revdex.com to urge Priceline to add more prominent messaging indicating that reservations are not refundable? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:When I joined in the contract with Priceline I specifically requested flight tickets and a rental car; that is what I initialed and agreed toDuring the process I didn't know that Priceline was going to try and scam me by raising the price and excluding the rental carPriceline should have made it perfectly clear there was no rental car included instead of the tiny printI see the fine print now, however I didn't know that I needed to have a lawyer present to buy airline tickets and a rental carIt's still shady and sneaky, and the reason that I will not be doing business with Priceline unless they resolve this honorably Sincerely, [redacted]
