Steele Printing Reviews (94)

We are contacting this customer to get the issues addressed right away. We are going to try to get out there this weekend or at least in the next 10 days.

After we measured the window, we were waiting for the glass to come in from the manufacturer. The glass came in and we just finished the instal today. According to our Production Manager the customer is satisfied.

How has this issue been resolved? I have not been contacted and no solutions or options have been given regarding my complaint. This complaint should...

remain open until some type of resolution has been made, as of today 8/23/17 I have not heard from anyone at K-designers. I don't feel it is fair to resolve and close a complaint when they haven't even contacted me.

This is the first we are hearing from this customer after the completion of the project. He may have contacted the installer directly but the installer did not relay the information. We left the customer with a packet on who to contact if he needs customer service, we never tell a customer to...

contact the installer directly. We just called and he told us to call back this evening. So we will call back this evening and try to get this resolved as soon as possible.

We certainly did not intend to cause Ms. [redacted] any inconvenience. However, she provided her telephone number to us at one of the fairs our company attended, and by doing so she also requested information about some of our products and services. In the course of following up on his request for...

information, we called Ms. [redacted] 2 times before we spoke with her and she set the appointment to have one of our marketing directors show her our products. Our policy is to follow up to confirm the appointment so the 4th phone call we made to her we spoke with Ms. [redacted] to confirm the appointment and she ended up cancelling the appointment. We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused Ms. [redacted].  We abide by all state and federal Do Not Call laws. We train our employees on the laws as well as our internal Do Not Call policy. As soon as Ms. [redacted]’ request was received she was placed on our Do Not Call List, and he will not be receiving any more calls from K-DESIGNERS The Number we have placed on the Do Not Call List is ([redacted]) the number that she provided to us on the Fair Entry form and the number she provided to the Revdex.com. If there are any other numbers Ms. [redacted] would like us to add to the Do Not Call List we would be happy to do so. Tell us why here...

[redacted] has said the rebate check is coming from the front office, that he will send me a copy of the sales agreement, that he will contact the installer to...

finish the job, and that he will contact me Monday or Tuesday to touch base and let me know how things are progressing.  I will not consider this complaint resolved until everything has been finalized.

I am rejecting this response...

because:  I was informed by [redacted] that they have every right to call my house and that it could take 72 hours to remove me from the list.  She made no mention of a training issue with an employee.  The second time I spoke to [redacted] she said it was an IT issue and put their IT person on the phone with me.  He said it was an issue with their soft ware and that he had to remove the first 3 digits of my zip code in order for my number t be removed.  So number one even without any issues with software, 72 hours is far to long when the system was calling my house 5-10 times a day.  Secondly not taking their system down once a problem was noted is also an issue.  I believe their response to be a complete fabrication.

We have been to this customer's home several times to flush her lines and the problem keeps coming back. Since this is a very unusual situation, we took a sample of the black stuff to a lab to get tested. The results came back that the black stuff is acutally feces with traces of roundworms. We have...

had the manufacturer call her as well, but she refuses the fact that it is feces and says it is our problem. We are trying to schedule a local plumber to look at the bath and the lines, to get a 3rd party opinion/recommendation. Once we have the plumbers findings, we will contact the Revdex.com with a plan of action to get this resolved.

We have already finished the work for Ms. [redacted], and she stated she is 100% satisfied with the work we completed for her. It took a little longer than anticipated as we were having scheduling issues with some of our installers.

We received the new glass units, we are calling the customer to schedule the installation of those glass units.

WE SPOKE WITH THE CUSTOMER ON 9/21 TO SEE WHAT THE ISSUES WERE. WE TOLD HIM THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO LOCATE HIS FILE SO WE COULD ORDER NEW GLASS AS WE ALREADY HAD THE MEASUREMENTS IN HIS FILE. ON 9/28 OUR PRODUCTION MANAGER LEFT THE CUSTOMER A MESSAGE STATING THAT SINCE THE JOB WAS OVER 10 YEARS AGO WE...

COULD NOT LOCATE HIS FILE. HE SAID WE NEED TO SCHEDULE A TIME TO COME OUT AND MEASURE AND CHECK THE WINDOWS AND SCREENS TO SEE WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. THIS CUSTOMER HAD A 1 YEAR LABOR WARRANTY, SO WHEN HE ORIGINALLY CALLED WE DID QUOTE HIM A FEE FOR THE LABOR, HOWEVER, WE ARE NOT CHARGING A FEE TO THIS CUSTOMER. OUR PRODUCTION MANAGER IS GOING TO GIVE HIM A CALL AGAIN TODAY TO TRY TO GET THIS SCHEDULED SO WE CAN FIX HIS WINDOWS AND SCREENS, AND REPLACE THEM IF NECESSARY. ONCE WE HAVE A DATE AND TIME SCHEDULED WE WILL ADVISE.

We are going to meet with her next week to address her concerns. We will provide an update once we have more information.

We have it scheduled to go do some service to resolve their issues on Monday 7/25/2016. We will respond to you immediately after

I am rejecting this response because:Firstly, I was told in the first business response that the business would contact me to settle things.  No contact has been made. No phone call from them.  Then another message comes thru the Revdex.com painting the picture that I am asking them to fix damaged siding and alluding to me being "unreasonable".  At no time have I been unreasonable.  I chose not to pay the $125 fee because I was told nothing of the sort....I was told it would cost over $1100 to have someone fix this and that did NOT include materials.   I was even told the $125 fee wouldn't apply to me because they had moved out of the Southern California area and it would cost me much more to have one of their contractors come to my home.  Secondly, I am not asking K Designers to fix the damaged siding.  I am asking them to fix the siding that has deteriorated and is the result of poor workmanship.  Of the multiple pictures I sent to them showing the deterioration, they chose to highlight the one where a hole has been punched in the siding.  Of course this is clearly the fault of our gardener and I wouldn't expect them to fix.  The reason for sending that particular photo was to show the swelling in the siding where the plants have grown up inbetween the concrete planter and the siding causing the siding to release from the screws and break apart. There are many other issues with the siding in the other photos that K Designers is not addressing in this complaint.Referring to me being reasonable......if you re-read the original complaint, you will notice that I DID offer to pay a portion of the repair up to $200.  This is completely reasonable considering it's nearly 20% of the expected labor on this repair. This matter needs to be resolved and K Designers needs to have a manager call me back and discuss the issues and figure out a solution instead of the back and forth on this Revdex.com site.

We contacted Mr. [redacted] on December 20, 2016 and he set an appointment to receive a free estimate for remodeling his home. Later that same day he called back to cancel the appointment and so we cancelled his appointment for the following day. December 31, 2016 we placed his number [redacted] on...

our internal K-Designers Do Not Call List. In January we discovered that he had an additional phone number [redacted] which we have now placed on our internal K-Designers Do Not Call List.Today we tried to contact him by telephone but left a message on his answering machine to call back so we could explain to him that he should not receive any more calls from us. The message was left on telephone number [redacted]. We found that the number [redacted] has been disconnected. We also researched and found that we have never visited his home, so his reference of someone blocking the mail man or following him and or sitting in his driveway was not a representative from K-Designers. We do not have his email address but we hope he will return our call so we can explain everything to him and make sure he is comfortable with the knowledge that we will not be contacting him again, unless he requests us to do so. If you have any other questions please contact me and I will be happy to respond.

We have reordered the windows for this customer with the Krypton gas. Since the marketing director did not specify in the contract, the standard argon filled gas windows were ordered, which was miscommunication on our end. The new windows should be here on Thursday, and completely installed no later...

than next week.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution isnot satisfactory to me.
I still feel I have been over charged. The replacement should be less than $12,000.00. I have no choice but to reluctancely acept their offer

We did speak with this customer. The issue is that we installed sliding screens instead of full screens. We will be out there by next Friday to install the new screens by the end of next week.

We should have this completed by the end of next week. The rebate check and copies of the contract were sent to the customer. We will advise once the work is completed

We spoke with the customer. We are going to do the service in 2-3 weeks and we have reduced the service fee to $150 which the customer is ok with.
