that I did not receive such product, please do so.  I would prefer that [redacted] and his team please take the customer service issue very seriously.  I almost missed a payment due to lack of communication.  I don't want it to sound like a whining of any sort, but I think it is there responsibility to guide the customer even with emails or something so that there are no surprises.  I think [redacted] would agree with me on that.  Customer service is extremely vital with sales of a product or service.  I know from my own professional background.  Thanks.[redacted]

I received a refund on
October 5, from Student Loan CounselSimply because I told this business that I was going to report them the Attorney General's OfficeHowever, I spoke
with FED LOAN SERVICES in regards to the honesty of this businessI was advised
that these particular business are scamming individuals every dayThe Fed Loan
Service agent indicated that he receives calls on a daily basis from people
who have been scammedBoth agents that I spoke with provided me
with a number to call the Attorney's General Office and report this business,
because this scam is occurring every dayStudent Loan Counsel will promise the
individuals that his/her loans will be forgiven after years at the completion
of this program, which is NOT true
Student Loan /counsel is ONLY consolidating the person's loans and nothing

certified to work as a contractor for the Department of EducationThe fees

Client received consolidation and was fully advised by the agreement and a quality control recording that he was paying for the document preparation services.Client received the correct repayment plan on two of his loans, and interfered with the other two loans which were to be consolidated, by...

calling them and advising them not to consolidate them by mistake, client breached the agreement he entered with us when client asked for us to do the paperwork on his behalf and consolidate all loans by filing the proper applications.Even though we did the work on half of his loans, we went ahead and remitted full reimbursement per client's request, since we were not able to complete the work on all the loans.

There really isn't much more we can do for you, you received what we discussed based on the information you provided in the quality control recording, hence the reason of the recording is to prevent miscommunication later.Our job is to document preparation services based on the information provided, nothing more. We disclosed everything to you.Now you're stating there was coaching, if that was the case you should have spoken with management about it so we could take the appropriate measures to prevent this from happening in the future, not simply state what you were told being that you are now stating it was not valid.Nevertheless, we will review the call in question, since all calls are recorded, and see if there was any misconduct, although it is highly unlikely as we have a quality control department which revises all the calls for embellishment, however we will further investigate to give you the benefit of the doubt.

We were unable to prepare the documents and get them approved due to client's type of loan, so we fully reimbursed client, per his request.

enrolled, which goes over ALL fees and what they are paying us to prepare, to prevent miscommunication's like this. Client has DIRECT loans which is qualifying type of loan for the forgiveness program, so a consolidation is unnecessary, client is also with the proper servicer for the forgiveness program, so there is no need to transfer loans. We completed the document preparation work for the client twice now, as client has been with our firm for 2 years now, and the client was put in the correct program for two consecutive years and we submitted all applications with income documentation the client provided. All services were rendered, so we are not sure how we can further satisfy client, we held up our end of the bargain.

Once again, the information provided is what was used to prepare and submit the application, if someone stated inaccurate information on the recording, we cannot be held liable.

This response is rediculous. They did refund me the initiation fee of $599 which I am pleased about. However I do not appreciate the business claiming this was a charitable act due to the fact I have a newborn and could not make ends meet?? The agent and I had been playing phone tag for a few weeks when trying to resolve this issue and at one point I mentioned I would like to resolve this via email because I had just had a baby and that was the most reliable contact method for me. In no way did I ever say I was struggling financially. After being refunded my initiation fee I was told I would not get the $39 a month I paid them for ONE year not TWO years which they claim. I have been so frustrated with this company that I told them I would like to be done dealing with them. I have emails to prove all of this if needed. I am not Pursuing anymore refunds at this time but I am standing by my claim that this company is unprofessional and has not been truthful with my information.

I'm so sorry this company feels as if I took advantage of them....I'm actually disgusted by this response. I wouldn't call any of the work you did as free work. You only paid me back a portion of my funds. You still received $600 of my hard earned money to fill out a one page form. I have already explained my side of the situation so I am not going to continue to go back and forth about this. I should have received all of my money back because I entered this agreement under false pretenses and I still stand by this. I think it's sad that you all take advantage of students who are already in debt by charging them a $600 "processing fee" and $480 a year to file one sheet of paper and documents that we have to send to you. What are you doing that is so special that you need to take hard earned money that could be going towards repaying their loan? If you stand by what you all are doing, then fine. I am just happy that I am no longer being taken advantage of and I hope others do not have to go through this experience. As a single mom, I think of all the things that I could've done for my kid with that money. But it was taken from me, yet they are the victims....

payment was 350 a month, we obtained a 21 repayment for the client by doing the
document preparation services and submitting it to the DOE on her behalf.
Client was fully advised
of all the fees in writing in the agreement and verbally in the recording.

I saw the refund posted to my account, I notified you.Prior to 7/20, the last communication I had received from them was an email on 7/10/15 stating, "let me find out what's going on." When I hadn't heard back five days later, I filed the complaint. I had tried repeatedly to call and email them about the refund. I did not receive the refund nor receive positive confirmation that I would be given the refund until after I filed the complaint.I hope that helps clear things up.Thanks,[redacted]

Your consolidation was processed by Fedloan Servicing, and you will receive a customer statement from them reflecting the repayment amount of 70 a month. There is no misrepresentation, you hired us to do the application for you, in which we have, that concludes our services.Processing times are up to the DOE, not us.Please contact Fedloan Servicing to get an update on when they will send you the statement, as this is not within our control.

DOE.Client is now asking for a refund due to her falling behind on her 34 dollar repayment, trying to claim she was not advised she needed to make her payments on her loan even though we have a quality control recording advising the client of the repayment amount which she would have to pay and the numerous statements sent to the client by the DOE in a attempt to get her to make her payment.We cannot be responsible for client's lack of payments to the DOE.
