Student Loan Processing Center Reviews (85)

Although there was no basis for a refund because the service was provided, we did in fact provide a refund for the inconvenience. We are not sure why this complaint is being made if the refund was already issued.

Student
Loan Processing Center LLC takes any and all complaints/reviews very
seriously.  We have a dedicated compliance department monitoring and
reviewing all incoming and outgoing calls in order to maintain the...

highest
level of customer service in the industry.
Before
going any further, we would like Ms. [redacted] to know that a full refund has been
processed on her behalf and those funds should be arriving in her account soon.
However, there are many inaccuracies throughout Ms. [redacted]’s complaint. Those
will be addressed in succession. First, Ms. [redacted] notes that “no services have
been provided” however her application was submitted one day before her first
payment cleared. Unfortunately, once an application is submitted it can take up
to 90 days to be approved, something Ms. [redacted] was informed of on a recorded
line multiple times.
Ms.
[redacted] also states that a forbearance was never filed on her behalf however the
forbearance did in fact go through and simply needed to be extended. It was
made very clear on a recorded line that Ms. [redacted] should make her originally
scheduled payments until her forbearance or consolidation was approved.
Again,
as we cannot control the amount of time it takes for a consolidation to be
completed, the only option is to inquire with the loan servicer as to the
status of that application. In order to do so, most loan servicers require an
authorization for our office to speak on a client’s behalf. Ms. [redacted] states
she was uncomfortable providing said authorization which makes it impossible
for our office to obtain any type of information about her application.
We
apologize for any inconvenience Ms. [redacted] experienced however all services
were performed well within reasonable expectation. We have included a
screenshot showing proof that her application was submitted as soon as her
first payment cleared. Finally, we would again like to remind Ms. [redacted] that
even though her application was submitted accordingly, we have processed a full
refund so she can be at ease knowing she received a value-packed service at no
charge.
We wish her the best.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[I was not refunded anything I have back statements to prove that all they did was charge me.  I will be filing a police report, and will take further action if I'm not refunded the full $ 757.48 that I was charged. ]

Student Loan Processing Center takes any and all complaints seriously. Our dedicated compliance department reviewed Ms. [redacted]'s file to determine what action to take.
Ms. [redacted]'s application was submitted in a timely manner. However, after some time, Ms. [redacted] contacted us to...

obtain an update as to the status of the application. She was informed that we would need a Release of Authorization completed by her in order to obtain the updated information she requested. Instead, she chose to contact the servicer directly in order to obtain an update without our knowledge. Unfortunately, without the completed release we cannot obtain and information on her behalf and that is why we were unable to assist any further. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience Ms. [redacted] experienced and we are happy to let her know we have already processed a full refund for her. We wish her the best.

Student Loan Processing Center takes any and all complaints very seriously. First of all, we would like Ms. [redacted] to know a full refund has been processed on her behalf and we apologize for any inconvenience.

and simply needed an additional signed document to complete the process and check the status. We attempted on multiple occasions to request these items but were unable to reach Ms. [redacted]. Finally, Ms. [redacted] was provided our toll-free customer service number on multiple occasions. We have no record of any calls here in our customer service department from Ms. [redacted].
We are in fact not a "scam" as we operate well within all federal and state guidelines. Our company has assisted thousands of individuals with their applications including many of whom attempted to perform the service on their own prior to contacting us. Unfortunately, the application process can not only be confusing but an application can be denied for many reasons.
In closing, we would again like to apologize for any inconvenience Ms. [redacted] experienced and hope she is satisfied with a full refund of all fees paid. We wish her the best.

Student Loan Processing Center takes any and all complaints very seriously. First off, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience Ms. [redacted] experienced and would like her to know she is absolutely entitled to a full refund. We hope she is satisfied with a refund which should be back in her...

account shortly. Unfortunately, our payment process, where customer protection is our main priority, requires accounts to pass through multiple channels to ensure accuracy due to the high volume of accounts that are processed.
Many of our clients attempted their own applications prior to contacting us and were either confused, frustrated, or simply didn't have the time to research and prepare their own applications. Our clients come to us because we are professionals that complete the job quickly and accurately the first time. We wish Ms. [redacted] the best of luck and hope that she is satisfied with a full refund. We ask that she feel free to contact us directly if she has any further questions or to check on the status of her refund.

Review: Five months ago I was contacted regarding my student loans and was sent several letters telling me I would receive assistance with paying them back. I finally responded and spoke to [redacted]. He signed me for a forgiveness program. the only catch was that I pay an initial up front fee of $699 to start the program. This was at the beginning of June and nothing has changed. My forbearance has now ended and there has been no consolidation on this companies part. Each time I try to reach out I speak to a different rep who only tells me that my file is still being processed. It's been over 90 days, the amount of time they said it would take. Now all I receive are calls and emails asking for even more money. A monthly 29.99. I would just simply like a full refund. The 'good faith' promise I was guaranteed has not happened and that money could be put to better use. Please just refund me the $699. I'm a young student who just [redacted]ted help with my debt and I feel taken advantage of. It's really disappointing and stressful.Desired Settlement: A refund of the $699 and no more requests of monthly payments for a service I have not received.

Response:

We apologize for any inconvenience Ms. J[redacted] experienced and would like her to know her application was processed on 9/1. Unfortunately, our office has to wait for our clients to sign the application before we can submit anything and our documents often need to be sent to servicers more than once. In addition, these applications can sometimes take up to 90 days which we cannot control.

Review: I recieved a post card from Student Assist. The card proclaimed a way to get my student loans paid back. I called them. They claimed to be a part of the Obmama Affordable Health Care Program. They said that they were an educational part attatched to it. To get my loans processed with a repayment plan of $75,00 dollars a month with a $29.99 monthly handling fee I would have to first pay three payments of $233.00. I would also be able to use my work in the non for projit sector toward repaying my student loans. My three payments of $233.00 were payed January 2015, February 2015 and March 2015. The document I signed stated that my loan would be placed with the lowest monthly payment amount. I receieved a document from them stating that this process would take 45 to 60 days to finalize. This document is dated 2/3/2015. For four months they took the processing fee of $29.99 while I waited for the loan repayment to began. I contacted them by e-mail and mail in September asking them what was going on? They again asked me to send in my pay wages saying that the repayment amount would be slightly higher once all the processing was finished. This month I recieved a notice from the US Department of Education with a loan repayment amount of $200.00 dollars. They have nothing to do with student assistance. I contacted student assistance who said that they had done thier job with me in finding me the best posssible loan. When I told them that they had done nothing but take my money and lie! they were angry .Desired Settlement: They misrepresented themselves. They claimed to be part of the Affordable Health Care Aninative. If they are they are lying. They claim to record converstations. They did not provide me with the service promissed.

Response:

Student Loan Processing does not offer a monthly membership fee of $29.99. We are simply a document preparation company who accepts referral business. Ms. [redacted]'s documentation was submitted on her behalf on 9/2. We invite her to contact us during normal business hours for an update on her application as she has not contacted us prior to this complaint. We will also reach out to assist her further. In regard to her payment going up, we provide quotes based off of the information our clients provide to us. If Ms. [redacted]'s income is higher than what she told her, her payment would reflect that increase. In addition, we made her aware of this increase before submitting anything on her behalf.

Review: On October 11, 2014 I contracted for Student Loan Processing Center LLC to help mew consolidate my student loans for a lower monthly payment and process paperwork for loan forgiveness programs. Since that time there has been absolutely no services provided to me on their part. A red flag was raised because among their first steps in this process they were supposed to file a forbearance with my current loan provider and I was still getting bills. I contacted a representative of SLPC LLC, M[redacted], and he informed me that I was still receiving bills on formality and not to pay them. I did not feel comfortable not paying my bill, so I contacted my current loan provider and they informed me that no forbearance has been filed. I then went back and called M[redacted] four times ( on 1/26 and 1/27/15), emailed him(on 1/26/15), emailed the company (on 1/26/15), emailed the processing supervisor(on 1/29/15), and called their 800 number to inquire about the status of my account. I spoke to a girl named, [redacted] on 1/28/15 and she informed me that she was unable to view my account without me signing a consent form, which of course I did not feel comfortable doing, and that their company does not offer refunds. She then referred me to her supervisor, [redacted], and said that she was out of the office, but that she would have her contact me the following business day. Needless to say, I have since received no communication from [redacted] or the company. I gave them my banking information for three automatic withdraws for their services: one on 10/17/2014 for $200, the next on 11/6/2014 for $200 and the final on 11/25/2014 for $199, for a total of $599. There has been absolutely no services provided and no one with SLPC LLC is communicating with me about the status of my account.Desired Settlement: I would like to cancel all, if any, processing that this business has begun in consolidating my debt. I would also like a full refund from the company, as no services have been provided.

Regards,

Review: This company claims to help you consolidate your student loans, misrepresenting themselves as being somehow affiliated with FedLoan. During the process of filling out paperwork they do ask a series of questions making sure that you understand that they are NOT the Department of Education, but they never say FedLoan. I didn't realize Department of Education and FedLoan were one in the same. As my consolidation is currently still in stages of processing, I called FedLoan because I see that some of my loans are not in Forebarence as Student Loan Processing said they would. Also, when I spoke to FedLoan I also found out that the process of consolidating student loans is absolutely free, and FedLoan said that this service that is supposedly rendered to me is not legal and ok. I also found out from FedLoan that my consolidation would not be forgiven after ten years as told to me by Student Loan Processing, but that it would be after 25 years. I called Student Loan Processing explained the new information, and they told me FedLoan is misinforming me (I doubt that). I also asked the manager how he would react given the same information I was by FedLoan, and he said he would react the same way, upset and taken advantage of. I would have never paid $699 knowing that FedLoan does not charge for consolidating loans. Also, my consolidation is still not processed, I don't qualify for the original forgiveness plan I was originally told, or it was not communicated by Student Loan Processing to FedLoan to have the correct information. I filled at the FASFA forms myself on 9/3/2015 (they did not perform this for me), and consolidation is still not complete, and my Loans are not in Forebarance as promised, and my consolidation at this time still does not qualify for the original 10 year forgiveness plan as promised.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the full amount taken out of my account of $699. They did not provide the service is an honest manner or the service they said they would provide. They also misrepresented themselves in their wording.

Review: They offered to lower my student loan and only put it in forbearance for several months causing me an interest charge of $173 and they charged me a fee of $600 to do thisDesired Settlement: I want to be refunded the money they charge to my credit card and they need to be shut down. When I try to call them during business hours it says they're closed. They are obviously thieves

Student Loan Processng Center takes any and all complaints very seriously. We have a dedicated compliance department to ensure we offer the highest level of customer service available. We apologize for any inconvenience Ms. [redacted] experienced however we did not simply apply for a forbearance on her behalf. In fact, we processed her application in full after some short delays due to her not completing her portion of the application. In regard to her contacting us, we have a very robust phone system and have found only one record of her contact information which was answered on 9/10. During that call, we spoke with Ms. [redacted] and asked her to sign an authorization form in order to obtain an update on her application.

Review: Student assist plus told me they were consolidating my student loans, that they worked with the department of education. That based on the information I gave them about how much I made on last year's tax return and my family size, I qualified for low income based repayment options. That I had to pay to consolidate the loan a total of 4 payments of $174.75 first then I would pay $29.99 a month for 240 payments. When this was done my student loans would be paid off. They then set up automatic payments with my checking account number and routing number. I paid the 4 payments of $174.75 and was ready to make the other payments but they never came out of my account. So I called them and made 2 payments of $29.99 over the phone with my debit card, they then sent me an email through docusign to sign giving them permission to take payments from my account. They then immediately charged me another payment of $28.49, when I called them they reimbursed me $29.99. I then reneged mail from fedloan servicing saying I had a payment due of $139.17 due on 11/27/15 confused as to why my payment was so high I called them and they told me the other company was fraudulent and I needed to report them. So I've now had to close my bank account call the Federal Trade commission, put a hold on my social security number, and still have to pay my entire students loans, all while being ripped off for a total of $757.48.Desired Settlement: I would like them to refund all the money I paid to them. Also I would like them to purge all of my personal information.

We apologize for any inconvenience Ms. [redacted] experienced however we did in fact refund her in full. In addition, we processed her application at no charge and wish her the best. Again, we are not Student Assist Plus however we did refer Ms. [redacted] to Student Assist Plus directly to answer any additional questions she may have.

Review: I utilized this service to consolidate my student loans to get them current. I was told to pay 2 payments of 299.95 for two months.. I paid on 1/26/2015 and 2/20/2015 and I was told that my future payments would be $0 based on the Income Based Repayment plan.. they got my payment but no repayment plan was put into effect.. I had to contact Nelnet to correct the situation. I tried calling the person that handled my account but I can't reach him. The name was [redacted]. I want to know if I can get my money back and is this a scam I know more than one person who has done it.Desired Settlement: I would like the two payments of $299.95 refunded to me if that is possible..

Review: I was advised to contact this company to help consolidate my student loans. When I contacted them, I signed up to have my loans consolidated and to be placed on a public service forgivenss program within three months. This was back in January. The company will not return my calls and my student loans have not been placed on the program or even consolidated. After contacting my current student loan holders, they informed that they have not heard from the studnet loan processing center, llc. Since I have not received the services I was promised, I want a full refund. However, since I am unable to get in contact with the company, I cannot request it. I feel they are avoiding the problem by not answering my calls and thus refusing to acknowledge my attempts to contact them.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of March's monthly payment of $29.99 as well as a refund of all three payments of $233.00s, all of which are recorded in my bank records. I want to be taken off of their program immediately.

service and compliance department reviewed Ms. [redacted]’s application details and

call recordings in order to determine what took place.

We feel that Ms. [redacted] must have misunderstood what she was told

by our customer service representative. When she contacted our office on 4/7,

not only was she told she would in fact be refunded, we even processed the

refund that very day. Ms. [redacted] should see her refund in about 7 business days.

We wish Ms. [redacted] the best and invite her to call us directly with any additional

questions.

Review: Student Processing Center sells loan consolidation services. During the initial phone call your "student loan adviser" will discuss how consolidation will lower your interest rates and also monthly payments. During my conversation, I was told my interest rates would be averaged getting me around 5.8% with a lower monthly payment. Once I agreed to go forward with the consolidation, Student Processing Center collected $599 immediately. They then filed the consolidation paperwork. I just received a summary of the consolidation from the Department of Education, and the interest rate is 7.25%, which is much higher than what was told to me on the phone. In addition, it's also higher than the current interest rate of 6.8% on 5 of 7 of my loans.

After calling customer service, they informed me that 5/7 of my loans had an interest rate of 7.9 percent despite the fact that I have written statements from the Department of Education showing my interest is at 6.8% and my online account also stating that my interest rate for 5/7 loans are at 6.8%. They stated they are unable to refund my money because they had already filed the paperwork. And because the "adviser" never outright said "promise" or "guarantee" about the interest rate, they could not refund my money. So the crux is, they send an advertisement that has been flagged before for being inappropriate, one they never fixed. On that advertisement, it states you can lower interest rates. When you speak to their adviser, they claim they will lower interest rates. They give you an estimate which is no where near what the actual interest rate will be and entice you to consolidate through them. Of course by the time you find out your actual interest rate is, they claim they have already done what you have paid for, and its an "estimate" which is why they can't be held to it or final outcome.Desired Settlement: I want a refund. If the "adviser" had stated that my interest rates would end up being higher for 5 of my 7 loans I would have never agreed to go through the consolidation process.

Business

Response:

Our company takes any and all complaints very seriously. We

have a dedicated compliance department to ensure our clients receive the

best-possible customer service.

Ms. [redacted] stated in her complaint that she was told she

would receive an interest rate of 5.8% on her new loan. However, the advisor

never told her what her interest rate would be nor did he make any promises to

lower it. We are a document preparation company that helps clients by

preparing documents and filing them with the proper agency. As such, we do not

set loan terms or interest rates. Her rates are determined by the

Department of Education.

That said, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience

Ms. [redacted] experienced while working with our company. We listened to the call

in its entirety and would like to thank Ms. [redacted] for allowing this forum for

us to respond. We would like Ms. [redacted] to also know that we have already began

processing her refund and she should receive her funds in 7-10 business days.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience.

Review: I received a mailer stating I would be eligible for the government loan forgiveness program. I contacted the agency during the summer, June2015 and completed the necessary paperwork required. During the time I completed the paperwork, I was on disability as I recently gave birth. I explained to the representative the only paystubs I would be able to provide is from the NJ Department of Labor. The representative agreed and the following week I faxed the necessary documents illustrating my current salary. The individual informed me of my monthly payments and stated my repayment would begin in October 2015. I paid the enrollment fee of 699.00 as requested. A couple of months had past and I received a notice stating my forbearance paperwork had not been approved because documentation was missing. I contacted the agency and informed them of this information. I was informed by the representative that they would resubmit the paperwork and that the issue would be resolved. Fast forward to date, I received a letter from FedLoan stating that a payment of approximately $500 was due in the month of October 2015. I immediately contacted FedLoan and informed them of what I had done. The representative from FedLoan informed me that no paperwork was received and the payment was due, but that I could request a forbearance and provide the necessary documents to them directly without going through a 3rd party. The representative also informed me that the payment that the agency quoted could not be correct. So I contacted Student Loan Processing and informed them of this information that I just received. I spoke with Nancy who informed me she would fax and ROI to be able to speak with someone from FedLoan on my behalf. I received an e-mail on 11/23 stating that my paystubs were no longer valid and I would have to re submit. I called again and spoke with [redacted] who informed me of the same information. I informed her that I no longer wanted to work with the agency and requested a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the 699.00 that I paid as nothing was done on my case. Also, I believe the agency misrepresented what their capabilities were. Prior to joining their program, I made my loan payments consistently on time, but due to hardships I was no longer able to continue. This agency made false promises and had no quorums taking my 699.00 and doing absolutely nothing. I am not able to throw away 699.00 as I have a new born and am a single parent. The company should not be able to misrepresent what they do and continue to do anything on my case and keep my money.

Business

Response:

We apologize for any inconvenience Ms. [redacted]xperienced however we do not have any control over the loan servicer's acceptance of applications. All we can do is simply resend them until they do receive them which we offered to do however Ms. [redacted] was unwilling to provide her new income information. In any case, we will reach out to Ms. [redacted] and resolve this with her directly and refund if she prefers. We offer a money-back guarantee if we are unwilling to complete the service however her application is simply incomplete at this point. Again, we will reach out to Ms. [redacted] directly to ensure her satisfaction.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me if a full refund, $700.00 is made. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved if and only if I am provided a refund. I have no faith in this company and would like to sever my relationship with them.

Regards,

Review: I was contacted to consolidate my student loan debt. After some hesitation, because of the payment (I have emails showing this) I went ahead and went with the program. Under false pretenses. I was told that my payment would be less and in the end I would be paying less than I am on my current student loans. This is not the case, the payment went up $40.00/mo and the amount I will be paying total is more. I paid a 599.00 processing fee. This process has been ongoing pretty much since April, in which time extra interest and late payments have accrued. I was told if I did not want to go through with the consolidation, that I would get my money back. This is not the case now, I am being told 30 days. I spoke to the actual consolidator this morning Navient and am being told that I could have processed this consolidation on my own. I am not sure why I would want to consolidate if the payment is going to be more and the interest is going to be more. Between my husband and I we took a huge pay cut this year and I am not able to afford this payment.Desired Settlement: I would like my 599.00 fee refunded and the interest that has accrued since the start of this.

Business

Response:

As we already told Ms. [redacted], we do not set payment amounts, they are simply based off income. The same applies to interest rates in that we do not control the interest rate. We are a document preparation service that assists with preparing and filing documents on behalf of our clients. We wish Ms. [redacted] the best however as we explained to her previously we are a document preparation service which has no bearing on the terms of her loans.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This is not what I was told at the beginning. I was told that my payments would be less. What is the pint of consolidation, when the term is extended and the payments are higher. My payment with my current loan is 210.00 and the remaining term is 177 months. This new loan is 250.00 for 240 for months. Why would I pay someone to this?? You all were not honest and I dined all this under false pretenses.

Regards,

Review: My complaint is against the Student Loan Servicing (Processing Department [redacted] | [redacted] | Fax [redacted]. I received one of their fliers and called them in March 2015. I spoke to [redacted] at the Document Processing Center. He told me that I qualify for a loan forgiveness program because I am a teacher. He also told me my monthly payment would be as low at $0 for one year and count toward the forgiveness program. He also said my loans would be consolidated for a fee of $599.00. I decided to go with this deal.

They had me go on forbearance three times beginning in April 2015. In November and December I made two $0 payments plus $29.99 for the 3rd party handling the account. Everything finally went through in December 2015. I was assigned to FedLoan to handle my repayment at the end of December. NONE of my loans were consolidated. I found out that this consolidation process does not require a third party and I could have done this on my own. My repayment is also not $0 per month, it is the same amount it was before. I also found out that the two payments I made in November and December do not count toward my loan repayment. So, I am not sure what I paid this company $599.00 for. They did not provide any special services.Desired Settlement: This was a complete waste of time and money. I could have been making payments on my loans with [redacted] for the past 9 months that actually count toward loan forgiveness. I would like my $599.00 back as my loans were not consolidated and my monthly payments were not lowered. I feel like I've been scammed.

Business

Response:

We apologize for any inconvenience experienced however our office has done everything to make this process as smooth and accurate as possible. Unfortunately, the loan servicer requested proof of income from the client in order to obtain public service loan forgiveness and the lowest possible payment option. No proof of income was received at that time. Additionally, our office submitted a partial refund as a courtesy and continued submitting and resubmitting her documentation. At this time, we are simply waiting for the approval due to being required to resubmit the application.

Review: I called to find out about loan consolidation and if I qualified for loan forgiveness. Although I apparently signed an agreement of some sort I did NOT fully understand that I was paying $699.00 for someone on their end to punch a few keys to tell me that I only qualified for a small amount for forgiveness. I certainly would NOT have paid that amount for something that I could have done myself seeing that I have a Masters Degree in Business Administration. I don't have extra money floating around. I thought the money I was paying was going toward my loan amount that I owed that was forgiven. Apparently not! What a gullible person I guess I am. With that being said, I set up the payment to be made and then told them that I had to have it set up the next month on my pay day. Needless to say it cleared my bank about seven days BEFORE my pay day so I had to frantically make arrangements for the funds to be covered to avoid insufficient funds charges. Then low and behold, on the day I had originally told them to set the payment up for I have a third draft that is NOT due nor did I authorize to be set up since the two payments had already cleared my bank. And of course, they say that can't stop payment of the transaction because it is pending status. So I have to wait for it to clear my bank and hope it doesn't cause anything else to overdraft because of someone on their end can't do their job correctly! To say I am not a happy camper is an understatement. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!Desired Settlement: It would be great to have the "extra" payment refunded IMMEDIATELY as I need it NOW and not a week or two later. Since I do not have money just laying around to pay for such services as this that is not decreasing my loan, it would be nice to have the $699.00 refunded too since it was NOT made real clear what I was paying for regardless of what I may have signed since I was told to sign and return as soon as possible.

Response:

Student Loan Processing Center takes any and all complaints very seriously. We spoke with Ms. [redacted] on 5/20 and let her know that not only do we apologize for the error, any overdraft fees incurred would be reimbursed right away. In addition, due to the inconvenience, we will be providing the service to her at no charge.

Review: I contacted the Student Processing Center (SPC) in March 2015 to consolidate my federal student loans and reduce my monthly payments. Because I worked for a local government, I was also told that I would only need to make 120 payments at a reduced rate and the rest of my loans would be forgiven. Since the rate was income-dependent, I also had to file my taxes this year as "Married-Filing separately". I had direct contact with Student Loan Advisor [redacted], who told me that there was a consolidation fee (3 payments of $233) which I had to pay for my federal loans to be consolidated. These payments occurred in May and June 2015.

I was sent a packet from SPC to fill out and return (which I did), then I was told to wait 30-90 days for the consolidation to take place. During this time I was contacted by the loan companies that I had loans through, stating that I was late on payments. I contacted [redacted], who told me to ignore these loan companies and stop payments to them with my bank. I did both of these things in July. I have continuously received statements from the companies I have my loans through, and have not heard from the SPC since September. I recently had to start a rehabilitation program with both of the federal loan companies to repay my loans so I avoid collection fees, etc.

I no longer wish to do any sort of business with the SPC, and I want my money back that I paid for consolidation.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the money that I paid for the consolidation of my loans ($699 total). This clearly never happened, and I would appreciate the Student Processing Center to return my money.

Response:

We apologize for any inconvenience Ms. [redacted] experienced and however we have been unable to reach her to further discuss her situation. Unfortunately, although we submitted her application multiple times, her servicer appears to have misplaced her documentation. Nevertheless, we will continue to submit her application until approval and will continue our attempts to reach Ms. [redacted] in order to update her. We expect her to be fully satisfied with the outcome.
