Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer's situationI have spoken with Ms*** and apologized for the trouble she's had with her GE refrigeratorShe informed me that she did receive the good will check in the amount of $125. She also said that a technician
was there this morning for the final repair and said he asked her to call him around 4pm if the temperatures had not come down yetI also agreed to follow up with her next Tuesday. He said he sent the complaint in months ago but explained we just received it through Revdex.com this morning at

GE did in fact authorize an exchange on the unit after forwarding photos of the excessive surface temperatures on the face of the oven

and waived the home trip diagnosis fee and agreed to cover the cost of parts but advised *** *** she would be responsible for the labor chargesAt this time she has decided not to proceed with the repair.Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance.Sincerely,***

Thank you for the opportunity to re-review this consumer’s situationPlease be advised that GE Factory Service has three charges for service repairs; a home trip/diagnosis fee, parts, and laborPer the Use and Care manual warranty page it states “all warranty service provided by our Authorized Servicer Network” therefore for the parts to be covered under the limited warranty an authorized servicer or GE Factory Service had to be used for the repairAgain, the warranty page in the Use and Care manual states that labor and related service to replace the defective part are not included under the limited parts warrantyAs previously stated the charges are valid charges and therefore GE will not be issuing any reimbursement for the repair on April 8, 2016.Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance

the washing machine is currently working after attempts to repair it.the first repair man came twice and
did nothing.the second repair man seems to have fixed it.I will contact you if it breaks again within the warranty period.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation. I spoke with the consumer today 1/18/and informed her we have parts to repair her unit on the way. We also scheduled a service call for Thursday 1/25/between 1-5pm. I told the consumer if this call doesn’t go
well we’ll exchange her product. If the service call is successful we’ll extend her warranty into a 2nd year. Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance. *** ***

For this instance this is a satisfactory resolution although I explained to the representative that I will retain his telephone number as I will not be surprised if this handle breaks in the same spot again and I will need to reconnect with GE *** ***
