Thank-you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation.I left a voicemail with the consumer today 2/23/ Per Department of Energy (DOE) regulations all washer hot settings have cold water mixed in to reduce the temperature This is a government regulation that all brands must follow I suggested that she adjust her water heater temperature for warmer water and also using high efficiency (HE) laundry detergent will give better results Her washer is working as designed and no further action can be takenPlease contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance

Thank you for getting back to me.No, the product is no longer under warranty or extended warranty I had a service from them in Nov where they had to remove the pan on the top of the fridge because it leaked In the process, they had to remove the pan to change it and according to the repairman who came in in March indicated somebody cut the waterline causing this leakage We did not get up there to cut this line so the cut must have been from the previous repair.In addition, after talking to customer relations with GE Monogram, they stated that the repairman never said that and indicated that the areas are totally not related I asked that they either send someone back so we can show them it's actually in the same area OR give me an email so I can take a picture to show the leaked area but they refused.The repair man came in and finished the job in minutes and charging us total of $with parts only cost $ This is outrageous.Thanks

When he called to say he was on the way to come to our house, I told him that the visit was supposed be at no chargeHe said he had no knowledge of that and acted like there would be a charge! My son got on the phone and explained that GE would be payingInitially, he would not look at the pictures of the lint I have (attached)! He tried to blame the problem on the dryer being set to a low temperature on the dial at the time of his visit! Does he think we're stupid?! We told him that we use the high setting most of the timeThe temperature setting wouldn't have anything to do with lint bypassing the filter trap anyway! He tried several times to blame the issue on us not cleaning the lint trap after every load even when we told him that we do clean the lint trap after every load! He did say it was A FIRE HAZARD!GE needs to get it's head out of the sand on this issue! I have filed a complaint with the Consumer Product Safety Commission about this problemI am prepared to file additional complaints with the attorney general in [redacted] AND [redacted] if this cannot be resolved through the Revdex.comAdditionally, I am prepared to file suit against GE in Small Claims Court if necessary.I have tried to work this out with GE directly numerous timesI no longer want to hear from GE directlyGE should only communicate with me through the Revdex.com Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below It is still an unsatisfactory resolutionThe attitude and indifference shows that GE does not value their customers or their customers timeOne is at the "mercy" of GE service calls and if they had taken action to resolve the dishwasher service calls earlier than the weeks of service calls then so much vacation time would have not been necessaryThey showed no remorse or empathy for having to take so much time off of work, including the fact that there was a complete no call/no show, and that on my day off I had to sit around because they could not even locate their service tech who was ½ hours laterIf they could replace the appliance after service calls, they could have replaced it after I had planned on purchasing a gas range as well as a refrigerator, but no longer have faith in GE products, their customer service, their confidence in their products, or their attitude about their customersI will explain my experience to all of my friends, family, and coworkers, as well as posting it on social media sites and customer focused websitesI will also be filing a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's office Regards, [redacted]

Thank you for the opportunity to re-review this consumer's situation Unfortunately we do not have an authorized servicer in Ms [redacted] ’s area to repair the washerThe options GE can extend to her due to the unit still being under the one-year manufacturer’s warranty are as follows: - (1) She can locate a local repair company and have the unit repaired and send in the receipt and GE will issue her a reimbursement for the service charges; or - (2) She can fax GE a copy of the purchase receipt [redacted] , and also mail in the serial sticker taken off of the washer along with cut the end of the cord off (plug) and mail that as well to: [redacted] and GE will be happy to purchase the washer back and she would be responsible for the proper disposal of the GE washer.Again, I am happy to discuss further and she is welcome to give me a call at her convenience at [redacted] between 8-5:EST.Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistanceSincerely, [redacted]
