Very expensive for what you get. Nothing a person can not do on their own. Actually the person that worked with me, was nice and tried to accommodate, but the disconnect between the writing properly and expressing what you want to express, are two different things, and TopResume, in my experience, lacks the capacity and or capability to close that gap.Too much emphasis on formatting, but changing format does not change the content.
In short, writer was nice, but what they do is NOT worth, in no way what they charge.

I had a good experience. They complete the first draft of your resume and you are required to get back to them if revisions are needed before a certain deadline. I missed my deadline due to a out of town family emergency and they were very understanding. They extended the deadline in order to make the changes that I requested upon my return. One very important piece of advice, be extremely specific about describing your job related responsibilities for each position that you have held as well as what type of work that you are looking for so that your resume writer can create a resume to is taylor made just for you.

My experience with TopResume was fabulous. They took all the stress out of figuring out the best way to format and word my resume. The writer was easy to work with and receptive of my ideas and questions.

I have always wanted to have my resume professionally made over. I am glad that I did. First off, I thought the price was exceptional ($150). I enjoyed the level of detail/s I was asked to provide in the initial stage and appreciated the scheduled deadlines. My resume Lynda was very patient with me and I "dumped" on her 7 pages of notes. My experience with TopResume was great. I was able to get a very well written updated resume within a weeks time. I had little edits to make the first time around and was very happy with the ease of the process. I would have liked to maybe be able to speak with my assigned writer of the phone just for a better human experience since this was my resume - Something very personal to me and my future.
