I am rejecting this response because:
Target.com lack of responsiveness to refund the entire cost of the television in December, caused additional fees by Target RedcardThe entire refund did not take place until March!!! Three months of interest fees were charged because of the eroneous neglect of a timely refund!!! Target.com failed to refund the item in December, therefor Target Redcard could not make the adjustments accordingly! How do you justify refunding the delivery charges in December, but not refund/credit my account for the television until March??! I want compensation for the amount of time wasted contacting the company in January, February and again in March in order to receive a refund due to me in December!!! I am also enetitled to the interest fees charged by the company’s credit card

When their order was placed for the three eBay gift cards the system didn't recognize the item number information for that specific itemDue to this technical error, our system wasn't able to process or ship the gift cards; I'm sorry
Our technical design team did reach out to our third party partners who fulfill these gift cards to get the problem fixedI'm happy to say that this problem has now been resolved
When an order has been placed Target places an authorization hold on the method of payment to ensure those funds are available when the item shipsAt the time the order ships the authorization hold is removed and the charge is appliedIf at any time during the fulfillment and shipping process the order is cancelled the authorization hold is removed and the funds are restored
Since their order was cancelled there are no funds available which means I'm not able to reinstate the orderI've advised our guest to place a new order if they'd still like the gift cards

In the original email sent to me in which stated I would receive a television same quality or better "as-promised" was not trueThe email also allowed me to choose a replacement television which I did and because they don't have that particular model , I was given a choice of 1, that they do not have to honor that promise

I am rejecting this response because: although I appreciate that Target finally admitted it was their mistake that led to my order being cancelled (see attached email received from Target), and I appreciate that they are working on ways to address their IT limitations, the fact is they did not do what I asked: reinstate my order for a Sony VR launch bundle and deliver the product that was ordered and paid for in good faith. Having spent years in the IT industry I can tell that Target's claim that it is not possible to reinstate a cancelled order is false. Software is written by people and can be changed by people; it's only a question of motivation. Target is not prepared to make the effort to take the necessary steps to fix their mistake.Target did send me a $voucher to compensate me for my troubles, but this voucher is useless to me as it is very unlikely I will ever shop at Target again. After allowing my credit card number to be hacked causing my card to be cancelled, and having cancelled my Sony VR order because my credit card was cancelled, and then refusing to reinstate my order, it is difficult to avoid the impression that gross incompetence is rampant within the Target organization. I don't doubt that the voucher was well-intentioned but it was actually insulting and naive on Target's part that they thought $would compensate a 10-year-old boy for the loss of a VR gaming system on his birthday.Target needs to do the right thing: they accepted an order for a VR launch bundle, and having cancelled it by mistake, they should reinstate that order. Only after they have done that, will this complaint be resolved

Upon further investigation I have found that Target uses a vendor called Market Source to sell its cell phonesThis is not obvious because all the employees wear Target logo shirtsNeither Target or Market Source is willing to take responsibility for the mistakes that these employees made. The employee that mishandled my transaction may claim to have offered to fix his mistake, but he did notI also offer these items to the Revdex.com as evidence of their incompetence and uncooperative behavior.1) There were customers before me who purchased cell new phonesI witnessed the cell phone employee; he could not fully enable their phones.(I was forced to cut this down due to a character limitPlease see attachment for full response.) 8) This is a new HUGE piece of information: I contacted AT&T as they are my phone service vendor and they said that the Target vendor opened unwarranted cell phone plans that grossly inflated my cell phone bill over $250! AT&T had to correct this error.I have had to spend hours either on the phone or taking trips to attempt resolve this incompetenceI challenge Target to review my last statement and reconsiderI should not have to chase down a vendor that is under their corporate logo that has made an error and they are not willing to justifiably fix itI eagerly wait for Targets response and what action the Revdex.com will take in light of this clear negligence of a transaction and failure to reply or communicate to a customer within an acceptable amount of time.
