Papalia is a great companyI called with a fairly urgent issue (but not a leak) and they got me on the schedule for the next morningThe plumber fixed the problem and spent a lot of time double-checking the water flow to ensure the pipes were all clearTheir plumbers are very well trained, and they're always really pleasant and professional to work withI especially appreciate the way they leave the work area completely clean and dryIn the years I've been using Papalia for plumbing, I've never been disappointed with this companyA+
On July 9, I requested two services; 1) changing of a bathroom faucet (device provided by me), and 2) fixing the problem with a bathroom shower (lukewarm water instead of hot water)Two folks showed up (never understood why two were needed for this kind of a job), they were there for a total of hours and I was charged $that I had to pay at that moment which was never made clear earlierThis translates to almost $an hour assuming one person should have been able to do this job and for argument sake if two people are the norm, the conversion comes down to $an hourWhat a lucrative career and I wonder why I chose to go to medical school? I challenged the invoice (after having paid the invoice on the day of service by credit card since they would not leave the house) and was assured a favorable considerationWhat was I offered? Told that Papalia did not charge me for a shower head (worth $per Papalia) and that they would credit me the $dispatch fee towards future work which I have turned downI would like to alert all existing and new customers of Papalia, particularly the ones in Acton and Concord about Papalia's business model and modus operandi under the garb of fixed price and quality serviceA total RIP-OFF no matter how one looks at it*** *** *** *** Concord, MA
Francis from Papalia Plumbing & Heating can by my house late in the day after a long service call at another client Francis was outstanding and quickly diagnosed the issue with my AC allowing me to enjoy cool air on a 90+ degree evening

Papalia fit me into their schedule very quicklyThey cut the smallest hole possible in the wall to access the problemWhen they found that the problem was not as complicated as they had guessed they reduced the cost of the project from the estimate by a significant chunkThey have done two projects for me and I was pleased with their work both times
My kitchen and laundry room drain was cloggedI searched for drain cleaners and found Papalia near the top the listI had seen their trucks around town and had heard good things about themTheir plumber came the same day as my call within a promised two hour window with a courtesy call minutes before his arrivalHe diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and recommended that I use an enzyme to keep the drain clear going forwardExcellent experience!
On the weekend we woke up to a very cold houseCalled Papalia because they are available on weekends while our regular plumber wasn'tThey were very clear about it costing more because it was the weekendThey dispatched Scott even earlier than I had been promised...and he was excellent.....very prompt, knowledgeable, efficient and completed the work needed to restore heat as well as a couple of other minor items that needed repair on the furnace
On time, reliable, efficientMike was helpful in providing an estimate for a replacement to a thermal expansion tank, and in his inspection also discovered a few other items that needed attentionI like how Papalia sends an email with the name and photo of the person that is coming over
