It is with great concern...

and regret that we received your email outlining the problem that the customer had with our service. First and foremost, TechVantedge would like to apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
[redacted] / [redacted] called TechVantedge on July **, 2014 for McAfee installation issue with under an impression that we are McAfee. Our agents clearly mention the name "TechVantedge" in the beginning of every call we receive to ensure customers are aware of the fact that we are a third party technical support company. We did not state that we
are or affiliated with McAfee in any way. Also while making the payments customers are directed to our website and are requested to read the terms and conditions before making an online payment. Also on the credit card statement our name as TechVantedge Inc. appears under the charge.

[redacted] / [redacted] was offered a subscription of $298 for 180 days unlimited technical support for one computer only. We also found that her computer had a lot of junk files and there were some software corruption due to which the Softwares were not responding efficiently. We repaired that, fixed the slowness issue, McAfee installation issue, optimized the computer, and cleaned the junk data. After the issues were resolved we request the consumer to send us a resolution confirmation email on our support email address so the case can be closed and to know if customer is completely satisfied with the services provided. [redacted] / [redacted] confirmed the issue resolution via email. Attached
is the Resolution Confirmation Email received from her.

In order to resolve the matter. We have processed full refund of $298.00 to [redacted] / [redacted]r. Attached are the refund receipts.

We offer excellent services to all our customers. If you have any further questions or would like to discuss this matter further, please feel free to contact us at ###-###-####.

I appreciate your efforts, as soon as I receive the check in my hands, and have deposited it, I will sign off on complaint and close it ( I was gracious to accept 200.00 instead of 298.00 which I feel I deserve for the scam that you ran on me. That is my final response until I receive the check.  I have never in my entire life filed a complaint with the Revdex.com, it is very sad that things had to turn out this way.  I feel very sorry for the next victim that you prey on.

outlining the problem that the customer had with our service. First and foremost,
TechVantedge would like to apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
[redacted] [redacted] called Techvantedge on October **, 2014 for AVG installation issue and he wanted to optimize/clean up the computer as someone from [redacted] Support (TFN ###-###-####) called him and accessed his computer and they charged him $299.99. So he was concerned whether his computer has been infected or corrupted by any chance because he received a call from someone from [redacted] Support (TFN ###-###-####) and worked upon his computer but did not fix the problem. We took the remote access of his computer and found that his computer was still in control with them. We also found that his computer had a lot of junk files and there were some software
corruption due to which the Softwares were not responding efficiently.
[redacted] [redacted] was offered a subscription of $497.00  ($149 + $149 + $199 = $497) for 270 days (90 x 3 = 270 Days) unlimited technical support for one computer only and authorized Techvantedge to charge $497.00. Post receiving the payment, we removed unwanted softwares , fixed the slowness issue, AVG installation issue, optimized the computer, and cleaned the junk data. After the issues were resolved we request the consumer to send us a resolution confirmation email on our support email address so the case can be closed and to know if customer is completely satisfied with the services provided. [redacted] [redacted] confirmed the issue resolution via email. Attached is the Resolution Confirmation Email received from him.
We did not charge any payment of $299.99 to [redacted] [redacted]. So we request [redacted] to contact the concerned company about this payment.
We offer excellent services to all our customers. If you have any further questions or would like to discuss this matter further, please feel free to contact us at ###-###-####.

I have called my credit card company and I have yet to receive my original refund of $298 and the additional unauthorized charges from the day after of $298.
Until I receive the agreed refund & reimbursement of the unauthorized charges, I will continue to believe that this company is not a bona fide organization. Also I am curious why the company website social media ([redacted]/[redacted] tabs when clicked on, simply return you to the website??? strange for a tech company?
I do hope all of the forums and claims about this company to be a scam are false but as for my experience, I am disappointed and I only wish to receive my money back as agreed and to move on.
