As the #1 Nissan dealer in NY for customer satisfaction, we went ahead and made this customer a good-faith offer to settle.. The customer accepted and received our offer and through the customer's endorsement, agreed that the settlement was "in-full and final." Customer received all applicable rebates and incentives for which qualified. With reference to finance charges, it is the customer's prerogative to apply any or all money received to the lender to lower finance charges that the customer qualified for and agreed to.

As the number-one rated dealership for customer satisfaction, we are perplexed at this customer's complaintWe made a good-faith offer and this customer, on 082014, agreed and accepted a full and final settlement, regarding this complaint

In July of 2018, I went into Teddy Nissan with my mother, a longtime customer, to get a car because I was moving to Massachusetts for a new job. I made it crystal clear to the car dealer that I was getting a car because I was moving to Massachusetts for my new job, and I also clearly stated my budget for the lease. This was my first time ever getting a lease for a car, and I really thought I could trust Teddy Nissan and the person my mother recommended I work with but, lo and behold, I was wrong. Fast forward to January of 2019 when I officially went through the process of getting my car registered in the state of Massachusetts. My monthly bill went up by $20 and when I inquired with Nissan Finance about this, I was told that it was because of the sales tax in Massachusetts. Regrettably, this sales tax was not something the car dealer or the finance manager at Teddy Nissan informed me about at the time that I got my lease. Fast forward to May of 2019, and my bill went up by $270 due to a property tax charged by the state of Massachusetts. This was ALSO not something that was disclosed by either the car dealer or finance manager when I was getting the vehicle. Today, I called both the car dealer and finance manager to tell them about the situation. Instead, I was faced with an uncooperative, condescending and unprofessional tone from the finance manager.

The point that I wanted to stress to the car dealer and finance manager was that they did not disclose PERTINENT financial information to me, their customer. The finance manager kept insisting that he and the car dealers “do not know all of the laws for every state and county.” I do not expect that but I do expect that Nissan car dealers and finance managers be upfront and transparent about potential financial changes that one can incur if they move from one state to another, which I explicitly shared with them in the first place. The finance manager told me that he had over 28 years of experience in this business—now with that much experience, you’re telling me that you’ve never encountered this issue? I know my salesman also has numerous years of experience in the business—did he also not possess this knowledge? Quite frankly, I find it VERY hard to believe that neither of them knew of the potential sale and property taxes that one can incur when moving to a different state. My gut tells me they were both operating from a place of greed, selfishness, and unprofessionalism when they worked with me. This is an abuse of power over new car leasers and is FAR from excellent customer service. I will never do business with Teddy Nissan again, and I have also informed my family members of the same. As much as I like the vehicles, we will not be renewing our leases with Nissan again because of this experience.

+1

I would not recommend this place to anyone, if I could give this place no stars I WOULD ! I cannot describe how utterly disgusted I am with this dealership, they are liars, scammers and have no concern for they costumers needsDo not come here unless you would like to lose money on cars in poor condition (which they fail to mention to their costumers when asked)These people tried to raise my insurance on a car that was in such poor condition I would be spending more money fixing things than the actual price it is worthThey had no concern for how I felt, they walked away from me soooo many times leaving me for 45-mins at a timeWhat kind of service is that ? I walked out of this place at one point to leave and they chased me down to tell me they could " they could all of a sudden take my offer now"When I got the car I purchased inspected there were even more problems on the car that they did not mentionIt was so unsafe to even bring my family into this car with all the problems it had, NOT GOOD ! I am so *** furious I went back to that dealership to get my old car backI feel cheated and lied to they should be closed down and I have yet to see anything positive about this dealership besides other comment, they pull this with everybody, what a shameI will report them to the Revdex.comTake your money walk somewhere...I mean RUN somewhere to where your dollar is worth its money on a car
