Mr***,
My name is *** *** and I am in charge of Customer Service for Auction.comI can personally assure you that Auction.com is not committing nor contributing to fraud in any way and I am happy to speak to your concerns directly
As in the traditional
auction format, unless otherwise noted, properties auctioned on Auction.com have a reserve, or minimum price, for which the property will sellAs disclosed in the Terms & Conditions (http://cdn.mlhdocs.com/documents/globalTermsConditions/TermsandConditions_***.p... ,Section 3: Bidding & Buying), the Auctioneer is able to bid on behalf of the seller up to this reserve in order to facilitate the successful sale of the propertyInformation on who is bidding on a property and winning bid amount data is not disclosed for privacy reasons
However, bidding history on a particular item is available on the websiteThis is found by clicking the “Clock and Hammer” iconThis icon is displayed on each of the screens from which you can place a bidSpecifically, on the Property Detail page, the icon is displayed in the “Auction Details” section, next to the message that indicates if the reserve has been met or not
If you would like to give me a call directly at ***, I would be more than happy to discuss any of your concerns in greater detail and provide a demonstration on how to find the bidding history information outlined aboveI am available Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM PST
Sincerely,
*** ***

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have escalated this complaint to the seller, and they have also escalated the complaint on their team for review. Auction.com does not own or have any legal authority to force a sell to any of the buyers, nor dictate the selling price. We
provide an online platform that allows bidders to submit their offers, through online bids, and the seller retains the right to accept or reject these offers. Thank you,

Hello Mr[redacted],
","sans-serif">First of all, we
apologize for any confusion, and I would like to stress how helping you have
the best possible experience in finding and purchasing homes with Auction.com

The property you are
referring to is currently posted on our website, but is in fact a property
being sold through our foreclosure "Trustee" live auction processThe property has not been sold, but the actual
auctioning of the property has been postponed several timesPlease also keep
in mind that Auction.com does not control when properties are auctioned, and
delays or cancellations are a result of the decisions made by the local
authority responsible for the sale of the propertiesFor further details on
this foreclosed property, please contact the attorney firm (Clear Recon Corpat [redacted])Again, we apologize for any confusion. In addition, I would like to share a link that will direct you to our [redacted] which describes in more detail how the Trustee/Foreclosure process works in California
Lastly, we are proud to
let you know that we do not out-source any of our customer service activities,
and all Auction.com staff are located in the United States. Thank you and have a wonderful day![redacted]Customer Success Department[redacted]

Auction.com takes advantage of customers that doesn't know the business of buying houses. They real you in thinking the process will be real easy, when in fact the process was real hard and a very bas experience. In my opinion, just get you and agent. You'll pay ah little more, but the process will be easier.

Hello Mr. [redacted],
My name is [redacted] and I am in charge of Customer Service for Auction.com. I have personally looked into the specific details of your inquiry and did notice that the request you made to remove the property ([redacted] Ave, [redacted] NC, [redacted]) from the...

Auction.com website was completed as of yesterday, 7/30/2014.
When the property closed on 7/29/2014, there was delay in communication between the bank and Auction.com. Once the bank confirmed with Auction.com that this property closed with your company as the new owner, the property was officially removed from the Auction.com website on 7/30/2014.
I am more than happy to discuss this in greater detail if you would like to give me a call at [redacted]. I am available Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM PST.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Congratulations on your purchase!
Sincerely,
[redacted]

They lie. They are just as guilty selling item at wrong appraisal price since they have Copy of new appraisal. They bid against to jack up bids. They are a scam.

Mr [redacted], I do not see a winning bid under the email address you provided for this response.  Did you win the bid under a different account?  If so, I would need the email address associated to look up the file.  Right now, I cannot assist with the information provided in this...

response.  No records show up in our system for the name or email.  Once additional information is provided, I will be able to do another inquiry and provide assistance based on the results of that new inquiry.Thank you

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Mr. [redacted],I completely understand your frustration regarding the language used on the website.  I have escalated the complaint to our marketing department to review how this information is communicated to the public to reduce any further confusion from potential customers.  As far being...

able to change the outcome, unfortunately, Auction.com doesn't own any of the properties and therefor we have no control over the acceptance or rejection of any offers.  Most of the properties on Auction.com require cash only based on occupancy status, however, some are going to be cash only based on the likelihood of not passing the inspection requirements from the bank to qualify.  There is a disclosure on the property that mentions a flood zone and potential damage.  That disclosure could be the indication why financing is not accepted for this property.  There was also a listing agent, [redacted], assigned to this property.  He would be able to provide insight to the physical condition of the property as well.  We also have a search filter, once you select "Bank Owned" under asset type, that will allow you to select all Financing Available properties.  This will allow you to find the properties that will accept conventional financing.  The other option you have is to contact the finance company that is advertised on most of the property pages "[redacted], they offer several types of non-conventional financing options that qualify as cash purchasing power.  I understand this isn't the resolution you were looking for, but Auction.com does not have the authority to grant you the resolution you are seeking.  So i'm providing you with the avenues you need to purchase real estate on our platform as you were previously intending.  Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention. We look forward to doing business with you in the future.

To whom it may concern:
Auction.com received a complaint through the RevDex.com,Complaint ID 1[redacted].
The complaint itself was one that  required personal attention that exceeded a simple response via
email to the complaint....

As an organization, Auction.com worked hand in hand with its internal
departments to address and resolve this consumer's complaint first hand. The details of how the
issue was handled and resolved are outlined in this document.
This faxed documentation is being sent to you to disclose Auction.com's response and actions taken
to handle  this complaint. Please take this as an official action  and response to the Complaint ID
1[redacted].
If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out directly to our Sr. Manager, Call
Center Operations, [redacted] at 949 672-3640 or [redacted].
Sincerely,
Auction.com
Actions taken by Auction.com:5-04-14:Alert email received from the Revdex.com with the outlined details above. Research into the
property and buyer were immediately conducted to determine where the contract currently sits (what
stage) and to determine the validity/accuracy of the statements.5-04-14:The complaint details, property and buyer information were escalated to out Short Sale
Division for further review.5-05-14: Research from the Short Sale Division concluded;
Upon further review of the complaint below, it appears that the buyer did not do her due-diligence
prior to auction, as agreed upon during the registration through our website. It is also very clear
that the review of the sample contracts that were available Prior/During the auction as they fully
disclosed that this is a short sale asset that is subject to lender approval.
The buyer's complaints that Auction.com did not advertise the damages to the property are invalid
as it is the buyer's responsibility to inspect the property PRIOR to auction. By performing an
inspection after the auction occurred is a violation of the contract (currently signed) and any
findings during such inspection are not valid grounds for cancellation on the buyer's part.
Per our notes in MLH,our closer has been providing updates to the buyer via email.  An introduction
call was made to the buyer,Susan, on 3/31/2014  with a request for a return call.
I have called the buyer twice today and left a voicemail with my direct number for her to return my
call so I may address her concerns.
I will follow up with further  details once I have had an opportunity to speak with the buyer.5-07-14:The buyer responded to a third call attempt  from our Short Sale Division and stated that
they wanted the contract cancelled and the EMD returned.5-08-14:After discussions with the Legal department, the determination to release the Earnest Money
Deposit (EMD) and cancellation of the contract was decided.5-09-14: Cancellation of the contract was completed and the formal release of the EMD was requested
from the third party Escrow Company, Ultra Escrow. The check was sent via FedEx to the asking
location in the amount of;$9,351.41, Escrow Number: BD-[redacted], Check Number: [redacted]5-12-14: Fed Ex tracking shows the check was received Monday, 5/12/2014 to the address [redacted] and sfgned for delivery at the front door.5-12-14:The returned EMD matches the amount drafted in the release addendum executed by the buyer
and officially cancelled. All asks by the buyer have been met and the complaint from an Auction.com
standpoint has been resolved.

We are sorry to hear that this buyer had a negative experience with our platform. Our records indicate that the Buyer did not view the property prior to the auction. Per our terms and conditions, bidders are advised to complete their due diligence prior to bidding. Auction.com reached out to the...

managing agent, who confirmed the condition of the property was still under the same condition and all damages were listed on the BPO. Additionally, our terms and conditions state that the property was sold “as is.” According to our records, the seller will not give a price reduction based on property condition, which was disclosed in the diligence materials, and referenced the Buyer back to the contract outlining the terms and conditions and that the property is sold “as is.” Our records indicate the buyer was given the option to cancel the sale, with seller retaining the earnest money deposit per the terms and conditions of the sale.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

[redacted], The offer that you submitted $143,500 was actually below the seller's reserve, and the seller does retain the right to accept or reject any offer we submit to them.  I apologize if this information was not clearly communicated to you during your offer process.  Our goal...

is the same as yours to have the seller accept the offers we submit to them.  Ultimately, that is how we help buyers like yourself make a purchase and we as a company get paid.  We are working closely with many different sellers to improve this process, but since these assets are not owned our company the final decision to pursue the sell rests with the seller.  I just tried to your reach you at both of the numbers you provided.  Please feel free to reach out to our customer service department and ask to speak to a supervisor and they be happy to discuss this further with you.   Thank you for your business.

The fact of the matter remains that Auction.com, nor the bank had right to list this property for sale, in any capacity, since the courthouse confirmation date which was July 2nd.  We cannot point fingers at who is responsible for this 'mistake' due to the number of parties involved in a foreclosure sale such as this.  Regardless, thank you for your attention to this matter.  I sincerely appreciate Auction.com responsiveness to this situation, as the advertisement of this home could have severely tarnished our ability to sell this property in the future.

Dear [redacted],

We have escalated this issue to our legal counsel, and they are in communication with the seller regarding this matter.  Unfortunately, at this time I do not have a resolution for you, but someone from our escalation desk will be in communication...

with you until this closes.
thank you,

Mr. [redacted], I can see how that can be frustrating to you as a potential buyer.  The assets that are listed on our platform are brought to use by financial institutions in various stages of the distressed life cycle, and we do not control the pricing for any of these houses.  We do...

provide data on what the market is willing to offer on their assets, but those are only suggestions for them to consider in order to sell these assets. Please feel free to register for this asset and bid the amount that you were willing to offer previously during the auction.  The seller will have a reserve, but most will also review bids below that number and consider them for a purchase.Thank you for your interest in Auction.com

(1) I was scheduled to close on my auction property on 04/01/2016. I completed all paperwork including my wire transfer on 04/01/2016. Today is 04/04/2016, and despite repeated voice messages to [redacted] since 5 days ago, I've yet to receive a response. Her customer relation skills are negative, and she reflects poorly on a company that's attempting to reestablish their company dynamics.

Direct Number: [redacted] Ten-X utilizes a closing company named [redacted] out of Charlotte, North Carolina. My particular closer on this property is [redacted]. On 03/24/2016 [redacted] moved my closing date forward by 18 days. Instead of closing on 04/18, my closing revised to 04/01. Great job Ten-X. On 03/31, the day before closing, I made contact with [redacted] from [redacted] to make sure I knew how to proceed the following day for closing. He advised me he didn't plan on starting my closing until 04/04/2016, so I forwarded him the revised closing date to be sure he received it. Come 04/04, nothing yet, although my end was completed on 04/01. Today I received an email from [redacted] stating I owed more money to [redacted] due to [redacted] sending the wrong HUD for me to sign. Apparently I was to be charged an additional 81.26 to correct his error. I refused, and he still has not granted me access to the property I paid cash for. Fortunately, I made contact with [redacted] (not [redacted], because she won't return my calls) and have been granted permission to replace the locks on my purchased property, and begin my relocation process. Still a few glitches within Ten-X that needs improvement, however one step at a time, can accomplish full success. [redacted]

Hello [redacted] and [redacted],

This file was cancelled per your request, and your EMD has been returned to you.

Again, I sincerely apologize for the experience you had with this purchase, and if there is anything you need in the future please reach out to me...

directly first to assist with your transaction.
Thank you
