My first time buying a car onlineThe experience was definitely different from going to a car lot and driving away with your car, but my wife had her eye on a specific vehicle with specific optionsWe found the car through USAA's car buying service and tried to set up a test driveNext thing I know, I'm talking to LaDonya with *** (now Texas Direct?) who explained that *** is like "the *** of car sales" and the car we wanted was actually in TexasAfter calming my fears of sending $20,basically over the Internet, LaDonya got the ball rollingI took one star off my review because every time the ball left LaDonya's court to go somewhere else, things slowed downThe sales manager that was going to get right back to me never did until I asked LaDonya what the status wasHe called minutes laterHe was a little disorganized and didn't have the paperwork on hand that I sent himBut he did get everything put together quickly and we were able to get the paperwork from him printed, signed, and in the mail again all within the hourWhen the car shipped from Texas to California, the third party delivery company didn't get in touch with me until I again asked LaDonya what was going onNext thing I know, the delivery company is calling, bending over backwards to make sure my car is delivered on timeFinally, while the car was en route, it got dinged on the hoodAnother exchange of emails with LaDonya and the Support folks got in touch with me right away and set up getting the repairs done with a local body shopAll in all, not always the smoothest process, but LaDonya gets stars out of for working with me through all the little issuesReading some of the other reviews here, I was a little concerned about *** customer serviceIf you call up Texas Direct and get LaDonya, know you'll be taken care of
It is not worth going to Texas Direct Auto Go to a dealership and sit for three hours to get a car Otherwise, you will never be informed of when your car will arrive, and they have many problems with banks getting your loan finalized I have had my care for days now and they do not have my financing complete Their customer service is horrific You will be ignored for days Very unprofessional and very unpleasant to work with!

Their departure department failed badly We had a very extended wait on taking delivery of our vehicle It took almost hours from the time we completed our paperwork to the time we finally received our vehicle Most of their employees were well trained in that department, but there was one particular guy who was extremely rude and very aggressive when I asked why it was taking so long He obviously has never had any customer service training and has no skills in dealing with people He took what was a great experience and left a bad taste in my mouth about Texas Direct Auto

My deposit for bringing the truck from Dallas to Stafford and reserve it, was not returned to me until 8-weeks after I purchased my vehicleThis was after several phone calls and emails
I later noticed that the dealer gave me a truck with a Vengine instead of the VI specifically asked for vehicle information to be emailed to me prior to putting my deposit and having it shipped to StaffordThe vehicle information was falsely listed on their website
After I noticed the issue, I contacted them to give them an opportunity to resolve this issueBeing the poor professionals that they are, instead of admitting their mistake and finding a solution, they talked me into trading my truck in, which they wanted to give me ~2,under what I owed for a trade in instead of taking actions for their mistake and buying it back for full pr
