They sadly o-v-e-rcharge!!!......***SKETCHY COMPANY***
They are CROOKS! They tried to charge me $335.00 for a failed heating element on an old Whirlpool Estate Dryer. Why in the world would I ever agree to such a substantial repair cost?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? So unfair, so sketchy, so unprofessional...SO SAD! Can't trust anyone...especially service repair companies. :-(

I have been using TARM a little over yearsI am happy working with themWhen I first started the service charge was an issue with meLooking back it was well worth it

Customer and technician have spokenTechnician has ordered a new part and it should take a few days to arrive and then technician will go out and install when the part comes inWe are following up with the customer to make sure the unit is serviced

Customer called in stated that Tech broke part of her appliance and didn't want to go back out, also that the appliance now leakedSince the complaint was a revisit, we scheduled such revisit with her and tech At this point Tech had not admitted to breaking anything from the appliance, just said he needed to review it, since he didn't believe customer's appliance had suffered any damageTech also stated that customer was rude and that she kept insisting on filing claim for money with her insurance After the revisit, customer called in upset that Tech had not taken the part that she said they broke and that appliance wasn't fixedTalked to Tech, he stated the repair was well done and still working (since what was done was a drain pump cleaning so it could complete the cycles)However, he did see the damage done to a pan, and stated would replace with no charge since it was done due to the moving of the appliance for the repairAdditionally he informed that the customer had a front seal that needed replacement and that this was THE SOURCE of the leakage; he stated that these things were informed to the customer and that she demanded a free repair on the other item The customer service agent three-way called them both and we settled the fact that an additional repair would not be free, and that Tech would call customer with ETA on damaged part replacementCustomer given that additional repair wouldn't be free, stated she didn't want itThis is where the case was leftIn the interest of good customer service we would refund the diagnoses fee of $if the customer want us toThank you

The technicians do not Guarantee parts pricesThe technician presented an invoice with a quote to repair before he did the repairThe customer signed and agreed to the repair and the parts priceThe technician has agreed to refund $to help resolve the problemWe are trying to reach the customer to let them knowWe understand that this customer was not happy and we hope this solves this problem

This customer called in for a repairThey did not tell the booking agent they where a landlord and the tenant would have to have the technician call in to get permission to repairThe technician went out diagnosed the problemHe did not ask the person in the home if they owned to home or rented and the person in the home did not tell the technician he would need to get approval from a landlord before he repaired neither did the person who called in the appointmentThe person in the home approved the repair after a written estimate was given to them and they paid the technicianThis is clearly a landlord tenant dispute

I do not agree that the original issue of the fridge being too warm was "fixed" as the wrong part was installedThey claim that “ it's impossible to install an oven Thermostat in a refrigerator since ovens don't use them and they don't exist.” I stated that the other technician stated that is was an over thermistor, not a thermostat, and a Google search for “over thermistor” shows that both exist and are available for saleI also dispute that T.A.R.M was out of the equation in the second instanceI had no way of contacting their technician without contacting them firstAfter my call, T.A.R.M contacted their technician and had him call meThis would not have been possible without T.A.R.M being in the equationAdditionally, all work performed by their technician was documented on T.A.R.M InvoicesThe technician did not offer to come out several times after the second instanceI had one appointment that he failed to show up forI then left several messages for him that he did not returnI have never refused anything offered from T.A.R.Mor the technicianI hired a different contractor because of the shoddy work done by T.A.R.M previously and was not convinced that they could do the workThis coupled with the fact that their repairman was not returning my callsAdditionally, the different vendor found that the trouble codes document was still sealed from the factory on the bottom of the fridgeSince the T.A.R.M technician did not open these documents they would have not been able to run the fridge through any diagnosticsThis vendor used the codes to properly troubleshoot and fix the fridge the first time

After repairing the pump on the washing machine the repair man replaced the hot water hose a charge We thought that was great! A couple of months later we discovered a small leak coming from the hose connection at the back of the washer After taking a closer look I discovered the connection was cross threadedI attempted to shut off the hot water only to learn the hot water shut off valve had off the whole time Had the repair technician turned the valve on he would have discovered the leak Where is the professionalism??? Why am I dealing with this after paying for professional service? I'm waiting for a call backIf I don't get a call soon I will have to complete the repair myselfYESI AM VERY UPSET!!!

Absolutely terrible Two different attempts at getting a tech to come out and both times got a call saying that the tech is "off today." Meanwhile, my appliance isn't working I would say that I'd never use them again in the future, but since they didn't show up I'll just say that I won't TRY to use them again

The technician is not an employee but a subcontractor as stated on the invoiceWe are refunding the customer the $to facilitate good customer serviceWe spoke to the customer by phone today and he said this would resolve the complaint

A check # was mailed out on 5/2/in the amount of $I would need to check the bank on monday when I am back in town to see if it was cashed

I called this company as they advertised to service Samsung appliances I confirmed they worked on Samsung ranges and scheduled an appointment for a week out They took my credit card number (and charged it) to "hold" the appointment I was told the tech would call minutes before coming out, if I didn't answer they would not show up but keep the $charged They called hours before my appointment to tell me they didn't have anyone in my area to service and never would Why couldn't they have told me this a week ago? I wonder if that was their "minute call" to get to keep my $59? I told them my cc charge better be reversed, which when I called my cc company hadn't been done until after my conversation with them Don't waste your time with this business, they're sketchy at best

I arranged a service call for repair to my Miele dishwasher for Monday, August 22, The tech was to show up by noon When no one came to my home or called, I telephoned and was told he had a personal emergency and would come on Tuesday, the 23rdHe arrived after the scheduled time with a "helper" and removed the plate from the front of the dishwasher He said I needed a drain pump and that he would call me later that afternoon or the next day with a price for the partHe did not replace the parts he removed but put them in the bottom of the machine and screwed the face plate on it and left When I didn't get a call that day or the next, I telephoned on Thursday and for the first time was told that I had reached an answering service, not a local business They also have an number in Pennsylvania They look to be local but are not and do not stock parts I called on Friday, the 26th and was told the technician would call me He eventually called and said he was unable to get a price from the manufacturer but would try again and call meI then called the manufacturer The part is in stock and I arranged for a factory service person to come to my home I cancelled the service call with Appliance Repair Men and was told that I would get a refund of the fee for the diagnosis If there is no credit, I will contest the charge on my credit card bill

Very impressed so far with this companyout of star rating

Technician went out on the 6th of November, to fix a refrigerator that was freezing the back of the freezer and not cooling the fridgeThis issue was fixed, however, on April 12th, (months later on a month warranty) customer called in requesting a revisitT.A.R.Minformed the Tech and asked if still on warranty, Tech stated it wasn't under warranty, and that he had spoken to the customerThis is when Tech and customer came to an agreement of revisit by the technician as a repair between technician and customer, leaving T.A.R.Mout of the equation (service fee was not charged) and an appointment was not set up with the Appliance Repair MenA second repair was done, and customer is not satisfied with said repair, called in to complainCustomer was informed that second repair was done outside of T.A.R.Mand needed to be settled directly with TechnicianThe second repair was a different item and was booked directly with the technician outside of The Appliance Repair Men.Technician offered customer several times to go out and review the appliance after the second appointment that was scheduled directly with the technician and customer refusedHe also stated that it's impossible to install an oven Thermostat in a refrigerator since ovens don't use them and they don't existHe also stated that if in fact customer hired a different outfit to repair the appliance after not letting him go back and review the appliance that he would have offered a warranty on the second visit

Technician has been in contact with the client and has ordered a door for the refrigerator. Technician has contacted client on several occasions and has agreed to replace the door. The client and technician have spoken about this. We can add copies of the phone records showing the tech has been... talking with the client if needed. The technician is resolving ASAP.

Peter and James are very hands on with the process, staying in touch with us on a regular basis, and making themselves available for any situations that may arise

I called what was identified on the internet as Maricopa Appliance Repair located at N Maricopa Rd in Maricopa, AZTold the person who answered the phone that I am in need of a dishwasher repair in Maricopa; said they would send someone outThe technician called me when he arrived (the home is a rental of mine) and said that the entire latch assembly would need to be replaced and the cost would be $including the service call and repair laborTold home I thought that it was rather expensive for a just a latch but he explained to me that the latch assembly included all of the wiring necessary to run the machine and that it is not cheapTold him to proceedAfter three days of calling him to forward me an invoice I finally received a picture of it from phoneThe breakdown on the invoice showed the latch assembly at $When I looked up the part on the internet and the ease at which the repair could be completed, I was shockedThe latch assembly can be had for as little as $depending on the vendorWhen I called the repairman about this cost/price disparity he blew it off and said that his cost was $but he couldn't elaborate because he didn't have the invoice in front of himSaid he would call me back but he never hasWhat a rip-off

My experience with The Appliance Repair Men has been very successful
