This customer called in for a repair. They did not tell the booking agent they where a landlord and the tenant would have to have the technician call in to get permission to repair. The technician went out diagnosed the problem. He did not ask the person in the home if they owned to home or...

rented and the person in the home did not tell the technician he would need to get approval from a landlord before he repaired neither did the person who called in the appointment. The person in the home approved the repair after a written estimate was given to them and they paid the technician. This is clearly a landlord tenant dispute.

Great service and site is super easy to use.

Hello,   Please do not close my case. I was unaware that I was supposed to respond.  My case is not closed and I am still not satisfied.  They are currently ordering 2 new parts and I have been unable to store food in my refrigerator for weeks and have to eat nearly every meal out and spending a lot of money to do so.Thank You,Michael S[redacted]

Great support and Customer Service at this company

A check # 2007 was mailed out on 5/2/2015 in the amount of $404.81 I would need to check the bank on monday when I am back in town to see if it was cashed.

The technician is not an employee but a subcontractor as stated on the invoice. We are refunding the customer the $400 to facilitate good customer service. We spoke to the customer by phone today and he said this would resolve the complaint.

I have been using TARM a little over 3 years. I am happy working with them. When I first started the service charge was an issue with me. Looking back it was well worth it.

Please be aware that this company is not reliable. The repairman that was sent charged $170 cash only. He spent 20 minutes here.The repair to our washing machine lasted about 5 minutes.

The repairman came back the next day with a roll of tape. After 5 minutes he said it was fixed and left. It was not fixed. This is now the fourth day that we are waiting for him to return. The Appliance repair men phone number said they can not help us and they charged another $55 to our credit card. The people they send are not accredited or insured. BEWARE!!!

By far the worst company I have ever dealt with. I chose them because they profess to come within one to two days. Spoke with a sales person who said someone would come on a Saturday for an extra cost so I booked them. Changed my plans to be home on the weekend and got a call literally an hour before they were supposed to come saying the technician was "out" today.. Do they only have one employee?? Then we rescheduled for later in the week and asked for a confirmation call the night before which we got and then no one showed up and NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE!!! How are these [redacted] still in business????

As of today customer was contacted and he said the situation is resolved and he is waiting for a refund from the technician. If there is any problem and the customer does not receive the refund we will refund the customer ourselves and we will go after the technician. If the customer does not receive the refund please have him call us back and we will handle. Thank you!

My experience with The Appliance Repair Men has been very successful.

When I set the appt I asked u gonna charge me 60 before u come he said we take it out the repair fee I said u gonna make it so high so I can't pay it he said no the repair will probably be 100-150 and will take the 60 out of that so I said ok they wanted to charge $700 for repair the washer was new and cost $600 the repair men laughed drop the paper down and walked out I asked u rip people off like this a lot they laughed and said yes they new what they was gonna do before they came to my house

We have come to a resolution with the customer. The customer has agreed to the terms. We are happy that we are able to resolve the issue. And appreciate the goodwill cooperation put forth by the customer to resolve the issue.

I arranged a service call for repair to my Miele dishwasher for Monday, August 22, 2016. The tech was to show up by noon. When no one came to my home or called, I telephoned and was told he had a personal emergency and would come on Tuesday, the 23rd. He arrived after the scheduled time with a "helper" and removed the plate from the front of the dishwasher. He said I needed a drain pump and that he would call me later that afternoon or the next day with a price for the part. He did not replace the parts he removed but put them in the bottom of the machine and screwed the face plate on it and left. When I didn't get a call that day or the next, I telephoned on Thursday and for the first time was told that I had reached an answering service, not a local business. They also have an 888 number in Pennsylvania. They look to be local but are not and do not stock parts. I called on Friday, the 26th and was told the technician would call me. He eventually called and said he was unable to get a price from the manufacturer but would try again and call me. I then called the manufacturer. The part is in stock and I arranged for a factory service person to come to my home. I cancelled the service call with Appliance Repair Men and was told that I would get a refund of the fee for the diagnosis. If there is no credit, I will contest the charge on my credit card bill.
