Nothing but problems, forgot to pay my property taxes. Found out from an attorney. Battle to get things done with this company.

I have reviewed the response made by...

the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I reject the response because they state in the email noted that they will not state anything electronically and that they have mailed a response. For one this is unacceptable because they still never resolved my issue to begin with and they are horrendous at what they due putting peoples lively hoods at stake with no compassion.

Absolutely worst mortgage company I have ever worked with...and I have worked with several. First, they did not know how our mortgage all of a sudden increased by $450. They promised to look into it and after at least a half dozen calls, they fixed the increase by saying don't pay this month's mortgage and we will call it even (?). Then, they missed the deadline to pay our insurance from the escrow account, even after I called to ensure it would be paid on time. Without any notice from them that they did not pay it on time, our insurance was canceled. After a dozen plus calls with the same response EVERY time ("it will take 3 to 5 business days to process"), we are still dealing with the insurance issue two months later. The best part is that they have sent us numerous letters this month saying that our insurance expired and we would have to pay for the insurance they provide...what?!? We are so fed up, we are refinancing just to get out of the mortgage relationship with Money Source. Ridiculous!

Dear M** [redacted],Upon investigation into the complaint, it is clear this individual borrower is mistaken as to being entitled to these funds.  This unintentional error, whereby two checks instead of one were sent to [redacted] (the "borrower"), was not by The Money Source Inc., but rather,...

our former sub-servicer, [redacted], who was previously servicing the loan.  By mistake, [redacted] sent this check to the borrower when they weren't supposed to.  The Money Source took over servicing from [redacted] on August [redacted], 2015, but sometime thereafter, [redacted] sent a duplicate check for these same funds to the borrower around the same time The Money Source sent its check for the exact same funds.  The borrower received two checks for the same amount, when they should have only received one.  This was a simple mistake which at times will occur when servicing rights to loans are transferred from one company to another.  [redacted]'* check was, in effect, the incorrect check, but it came to our attention that the borrower cashed this check first.  In the interim, and once it was brought to our attention that the funds were already received by the borrower directly from [redacted], we proceeded to stop payment on our check, which became the duplicate check. Borrower was not entitled to double the funds, so that was the reason The Money Source stopped payment on the duplicate check.  The amount indicated in this complaint is the same amount on each check, including the duplicate check we sent. Our servicing team contacted [redacted] on more than once occasion to explain this and during our conversation on 9/*/15, even offered to refund any bank fees that may have been assessed.  After speaking with him and requesting he provide verification from the bank of the amount of the fees assessed, we advised [redacted] that we would gladly reimburse these fees once the documentation was provided.  To date, we have not received this documentation, but remain willing to do so, as originally indicated.Should you need any further information, do not hesitate to contact our General Counsel's office at ###-###-#### or email us.  Kindly indicate whether, upon your review of this response, the matter can officially be closed.  Thank you.

The verbiage which is annotated in the letter is accurate. However, had the company conveyed these items versus me having to repeatedly call them because of their incompetency we would not be at the point of Revdex.com complaints.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Greg D[redacted] of the [redacted] office told us to not make our Nov * and Dec * payments.  They are just trying to cover their own [redacted] and try to make everything right.  They did not and are lying to try to look good.  I will be done with this worthless company as soon as I can.  Response not accepted.

Where to begin. In Mar 2016 my wife and I bought a home through the VA. After it was all said and done TMS held the mortgage. Just a few months after closing we started getting mail from other businesses offer a loan at a lower interest rate. I guess TMS could read our minds and knew we were looking into it because in Oct 2016 they contacted us and made the same offer but they sweetened the deal by saying that we would have to pay any closing cost or add any money to our already existing loan. Hey, we went with it. Since they already held the mortgage it should be a simple process right? WRONG. We were working with Bridgett Q[redacted] and according to her we was supposed to close on the new loan the first week of Dec 2016 and was told not to make our December mortgage payment. The first week of December came and went and never heard from anyone. I sent several emails and made many phone calls to no avail. Finally Bridgett Q[redacted] called me and said the loan was approved, they were waiting for it to move to the clear to close and that would happen on the [redacted]. Didn't happen. I started calling again. I never got her on the phone but I was able to talk to a guy (I believe his name was Justin) ( I could be wrong on his name) but he told me that I was for sure closing in December on my new loan. On ** Dec 16 Bridgett Q[redacted] sent me an email and said there was a 50% chance that we would close in December and that I need to make my mortgage payment, send her the confirmation that I did it and that all future communication should be done via email. On ** Dec 2016 I made the payment, email her the confirmation and told her to stop the refinance as I was going through USAA the get my mortgage refinanced and get it away from them. I did not want any further dealings with them at all. People, you can't make this stupidity up. Bridgett Q[redacted] literally responded to that email on ** Dec 16 informing me that she expected us to close on ** Jan 17. I had to email her again and tell her that I did not want to proceed and that I was going with USAA. At this time I have not heard back but after reading all of the other reviews I am expecting TMS to cause a major screw up. If any of you possible TMS customers or any TMS employees would like to contact me, please do so.
