I got tired of playing phone tag with Jason, and after The Money Source learned of my Revdex.com complaint, the VP of Customer Service contacted me and I'm currently working with her on resolving our issue. It took Jason a MONTH to get back to me, and after we work the VP of Customer Service, I will be sure to close this claim.

The worst mortgage company I've dealt with after buying 3 homes and refinancing several times. Loan was refinanced and moved to another company. Money Source keeps sending letters that payment is overdue. I call and they say that was a mistake. Just make payment to new bank. Then I get another letter saying I've defaulted on the loan and I'm two months behind and I will be reported to the credit bureau. im left with no choice but to pursue legal action since I now have 2 mortgages on one home.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

It is still not possible for me to pay my mortgage payment online without adding the late fee. If I don't have enough money to pay both the late fee and the mortgage payment, would that mean they would mark my credit as my mortgage being paid late because they credited part of the payment to the late fee? I should not have to enroll in ACH billing to be 100% certain that my payment is received on time with no additional charges. I should be able to pay my payment online without them making me have to pay the late payment at that particular time. No other mortgage company has ever had their online payment system set up this way.

Review: Hello, my complaint deals with both delivery and customer service problems. To make a long story short, I was setup on a pay agreement plan to help get my finances back on track and during that time, my loan servicing lender was transferred to this new lender and it has been a headache ever since. I have since met all the requirements and my loan should be current however when I logon to my account, all my old information is still showing up as well as it being put on my credit report. I have contacted my lender representative as well as corporate headquarters on multiple occasions and my issue still exists. I feel like I did my part on doing what I was asked to do during my payment plan but this company keeps giving me the run around that they are correcting my account yet that was back in September 2015 and nothing has been done. I feel this unfair practice. I feel they are giving me false deliverables every month. I have lost faith and I'm now reaching out to Revdex.com for a hopeful good outcome. I appreciate whomever has taken the time out to read this post and I hope some kind of action will be done to help remedy my problem and get me to right POC or person in charge that can truly help me. If you need further assistance from me, I will be more that happy to provide more feedback as necessary Thank you in advance.Desired Settlement: I'm requesting to have my account corrected as well as the delivery as promised to be met, finishing up the job and being contacted through whatever means possible for a follow up.

Review: I have recently been struggling with making my mortgage payments on time. in the last year, I have been 30-45 days a couple times, but have always made it up. During those times, my mortgage company calls my job every day and my cell phone 2 - 4 times per day including weekends. It is so bad that I have to forward their calls right to voicemail because I work full time and am a full time student and they are constantly calling interrupting my job and class. I can speak to them and pay it up and tell them that I will need an extra week to get the next payment, but they will still call. They even call when I am still within my grace period. They also have been sending "field agents" to my house. These "field agents" photograph my home and peek in my windows. On this past Saturday, my 3 children were home alone while I was out and one of their agents pulled up, got out of her car, took photos of my house, looked in the windows of my home, and left a plain white envelope with a note simply saying to contact my mortgage company. This terrified my 13 year old daughter. My payment had posted and brought my mortgage current 10 days prior to her arrival so I was current, not in the arrears therefore they didn't even have business being there.

In addition, when a payment is late, they cut off your ability to pay online thus limiting your ability to pay immediately unless you call in. This is difficult and also causes additional delays for me given my schedule in trying to provide for may family and better our life to make it easier to pay the bills. If I work 7am-4pm and go to class 5-9:30, when am I supposed to call and make their payment? They aren't in. It's frustrating.

After goggling what actions I need to do to get them to stop, I read online about the FTC and how I could contact my mortgage company by certified letter with a cease and desist order. I decided to contact my mortgage company and obtain their legal notification address. During this time, I also asked if their "field agents" also had an address or hub I could send a copy of the letter to. The woman answering was nice, and told me that it is their practice to send someone out to my house if I am 30 days late to confirm I still live there (which they know from the last time they sent someone out and because it is a term of my mortgage to be my primary residence) I informed them what happened and told them I have instructed my children to call the police if anything like that ever happened again and that I would press charges against whomever they sent out for stalking and harassment. I was given an address for the mortgage company, but the person on the phone said she was unsure that it was the correct address to send it, so she put me on hold to ask her supervisor. She said the field agents did not have an address or at least would not provided it. She came back on the line and said her supervisor said they have a right and there was nothing I could do about it.

I do not feel that A) anyone should be photographing my home and looking in my windows b) scaring my children by doing so c) sending someone out because they are 30 days late is appropriate. Its not like I'm 3 or 4 months of no payment d) refuse to provide me with the correct legal address for correspondence. e) that the supervisor should have dismissed my complaint. f) my house has over $50,000 in equity, so I would not need to "walk away" from it. I have never put it on the market, but would certainly have the option to do so without issue if need be.

I am hoping that you may have some incite as to what I can do as I feel harassed and wish I could change mortgage companies, but given my credit at the moment, I can not. I am a single mom so there are no other adults in the house if I am not there to keep my children from their harassment. Please help.Desired Settlement: All field agents must stop coming to my home without sever delinquency. Reprimand of agents for spying into windows. Stop contact my work.

Review: I purchase a home in October 2014, and my mortgage was sold to this company before I made the first payment. I established an auto draft to automatically pay my monthly mortgage, but instead they withdrew a double payment of $1020.00 for a total of $2040.00. This was in Jan 2015. They took them almost a month to get that money back to me and I requested they cancel any auto draft and for them to delete my bank info. In Feb they with drew the same amount again $2020.00, and I attempted to resolve situation with them over the phone however they were not willing to assist in any way. I then requested, by email and phone, which I have the emails showing that the auto draft was cancelled, but yet again they billed my bank account. At this point I have no more money to eat, pay my auto loan and insurance, my electricity, I am so discussed with this company, no one should have to go thru this. All I want is my money back $1020.00 so that I can pay my bills and for them to delete my bank and never draft anything from it again. thanks youDesired Settlement: I want them to wire the money back into my checking account ASAP

Response:

After review of the complaint, we conducted an internal review of the customer's account with our loan subservicing counterpart, [redacted]. When the loan was first transferred to [redacted] (who would handle the servicing of the loan), it appears that the pay history we reviewed reflected two autodraft payments of the same amount, in early January 2015, with only one of the payments applied to the principal loan amount. Once we were made aware by the consumer that the autodraft occurred twice instead of once the previous month, as we hadn't expected, the amount of the second payment was then reversed in [redacted]'s system, and the funds were immediately returned to the customer. According to our company records and [redacted]'s, which we cross referenced during our investigation of the customer's claim, this autodraft mistake occurred just once, and has not happened again since. The customer's bank information, as per his previous request to [redacted], was already removed from the autodraft program on [redacted]'s system, so the problem could not re-occur. The customer has already been reimbursed in full, and we are not aware of any further issue regarding this customer's account. Should any further information be required, please do not hesitate to contact our offices and ask for our General Counsel's office. Customer satisfaction is our highest priority, and we always want to insure the highest level of service for each customer, so their feedback is certainly valuable to us. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, but we are confident the matter was successfully resolved in advance of this complaint reaching our offices.

Review: Loan #[redacted]. The Money Source purchased our mortgage note from Proficio Mortgage in December 2012. The mortgage had a known error made by the title company in which the title company used the wrong parcel in calculating the mortgage real estate taxes for escrow and used the this incorrect amount in calcuating the loan amount. The title company paid the 1st half installment for the wrong parcel in December (from escrow account), which were approximately 3 times more the what was due for our property. The real estate taxes they used to calculate the refinance of our loan were 3 time more expensive that was due for our property, and inflated our principal account, as well as our monthly payment. Per Proficio Mortgage, I was told to pay the correct real estate taxes for our property, which were due in December (1st half installment), which I paid in full (both 1st and 2nd half installments), so we would not incur any late fee penalty's. We did receive a check from the title company for the incorrect payment they made for the wrong parcel. The first payment due for this mortgage was due January [redacted], which Proficio mortgage said would be adjusted by the new holder of the note (The Money Source), to reflect the correct real estate tax calculations.

I have placed over 8 documented emails to The Money Source, including Proficio Mortgage. Over 20 documented phone calls have been placed to My Loan Care, which services the loans for The Money Source). My Loan Care has no documented updates and/or errors regarding this loan, other than what I have giving them, and state "they have no direct phone numbers to The Money Source they can give me so I can follow up regarding the correction status of our loan. Through all my emails and and phone calls, I have only received one response from a [redacted] on 05/**/2013, from The Money Source, but the phone number he provided was for My Loan Care, and they did not know of a "[redacted]", and said they did not have a direct line to The Money Source which I could call.

I have made the principal, interest, and home owners insurance payments from January through June, but have been receiving daily phone calls since January for the remaining due (based on the wrong parcel used to calculate our loan and monthly payment.Desired Settlement: Need an educated representative (familiar with our loan situation before they call) from The Money Source to contact me ASAP to correct the loan, refund any and all late fees associated with this loan, remove any and all negative credit ratings associated with this loan.

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by The Money Source Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here] I received a phone call from a "[redacted]" from The Money Source on June **, 2013 , but it was in response to an email follow up sent by the original loan originator "Proficio Mortgage" which originated the loan in November 2012 , NOT from my complaint from the Revdex.com. The Money Source sent another check for the escrow overage from the original loan amount calculations, and adjusted my monthly payment to the correct amount based on our correct real estate taxes for the July mortgage payment. However, the statements still show we owe them in excess of $4,400 from the origination loan date to present, late fees for the first few months of the loan, and have not addressed whether or not they have corrected our credit report (if needed) for their mistake and negligence to correct the loan in a timely manner (more than 6 months from date error was identified).

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Review: I had automatic payments set up with this company through their servicer [redacted], without prior notice they canceled their business relationship, and ceased collection of a mortgage payment. This is highly inconvienient for me because I get a set paycheck every month, and it has been allotted to other bills that are required to live such as my gas, electric, and car payments. I called The money source, they said they were at fault for the mistake, however I had to make up the payments by paying 1499.16 twice a month to catch up. I only get paid 2011/ paycheck twice a month. leaving me very little for my son, my wife, and other bills to include car payment, gas, electric, ect.Desired Settlement: since the company was at fault, as stated in a company recorded phone call, I should not have to put my family into a financial predicament to correct an issue that they brought about. I would like to re-amortize my loan with them to either exclude the past due payments, or work out a payment to correct the issue that does not hurt the financial future of my family.

Response:

Dear [redacted],Please be advised that after investigation of this complaint with our loan servicing division, I have confirmed that our loss mitigation manager spoke directly with the borrower this week and resolved his concerns. We set the borrower up to make payments in order to help bring him current again by 10/**/15. Our manager further explained that once he is current, he can be set up to make automatic drafts like he had prior to the transfer of the servicing for his loan from [redacted], our former loan subservicer, to us here at The Money Source, where we now directly service this loan. It was indicated to me that the borrower appears to be satisfied with our response and the arrangements made to rectify his issues. To this end, we are confident this completes the inquiry and successfully resolves his issue. Should you have any further questions to this end, kindly contact our General Counsel at ###-###-####, or via email as he is copied above. Thank you!

Review: My first mortgage payment was due in September of 2015. I send the full payment via [redacted] e-bills. The payment was sent as an electronic transfer on 9/*/15. I started receiving calls a weeks later that I am late on my payment. I have tried to realize the issue now with them for weeks and the collections department did nothing. Until last week when I talked to a supervisor. I have done everything on my end to prove to them that the payment has been made. Yet they still call me and threaten to forclose on my home and report to the credit bureauDesired Settlement: I would like for them to find my September payment

This is the worst mortgage company ever. I wish another bank bought my mortgage but they didnt. I received a shortage letter in the mail so I paid it. well in my next payment they never accounted for it, so my payment was higher. I even read to them my confirmation number I received after I paid my shortage, but still never fixed. Then I get another shortage letter for a lot more money and after I call them, they realize its a mistake on their end(surprise surprise) and after a careful escrow analysis, they tell me it will be removed. Well its been 2 months now and it has not been removed and my payment was never adjusted and they are costing me more money now and they NEVER call anyone back like they promise. This is the worst company to deal with and I am reporting them to the department of banking. They are horrible.
