Same issue with escrow shortage because they dispersed funds to a second unauthorized insurance company. Didn't know and wasn't told. Then they try to penalize me for their mistake. It has been 5 months of fighting, no resolve and lawyers now involved. I will never recommend them and in fact they are being reported to the banking and insurance commission for deceptive practices.

Revdex.com:Since I filed the initial complaint, I have received communication from "The Money Source" in the form of email, which included my 1098 in the email.  I only received this email after calling the money source and complaining that I had not yet received the paper copy that...

they had originally supposedly sent on ** January 2017.  Further, it took three calls to the business for them to even offer emailing an electronic copy to me, the first two times they said there was no way for me to obtain an electronic copy since my account was paid in full.  It is now ** February 2017 and I have still not received the paper copy of the 1098.  Since I've received the electronic copy, I'd say this dispute is resolved, but I don't feel it should have taken 3 calls and a week and a half to do so.

My father passed away late in June 2016. In early July, we contacted Money Source to let them know and to ask about options, as he was the primary source of income and it would take a few months to figure our how to make the payments on the home loan. We were told that my mom could get a deferral for 90 days. A few weeks later, she gets a notice in the mail that she is being charged a late fee. Now, the company says they don't give deferrals, and even if someone promised one, they wouldn't honor it. Their voice mail system says they care about people. What a joke! Run from this company as fast as you can, and certainly don't ever try to work anything out with Katrina (operator ID: [redacted] because she is rude (she cut me off many times) and disrespectful.

For one this is unacceptable because they still never resolved my issue to begin with and they are horrendous at what they due putting peoples lively hoods at stake with no compassion.

help bring him current again by 10/**/15.  Our manager further explained that once he is current, he can be set up to make automatic drafts like he had prior to the transfer of the servicing for his loan from [redacted], our former loan subservicer, to us here at The Money Source, where we now directly service this loan.  It was indicated to me that the borrower appears to be satisfied with our response and the arrangements made to rectify his issues.  To this end, we are confident this completes the inquiry and successfully resolves his issue.  Should you have any further questions to this end, kindly contact our General Counsel at ###-###-####, or via email as he is copied above.  Thank you!

This is the worst mortgage company ever. I wish another bank bought my mortgage but they didnt. I received a shortage letter in the mail so I paid it. well in my next payment they never accounted for it, so my payment was higher. I even read to them my confirmation number I received after I paid my shortage, but still never fixed. Then I get another shortage letter for a lot more money and after I call them, they realize its a mistake on their end(surprise surprise) and after a careful escrow analysis, they tell me it will be removed. Well its been 2 months now and it has not been removed and my payment was never adjusted and they are costing me more money now and they NEVER call anyone back like they promise. This is the worst company to deal with and I am reporting them to the department of banking. They are horrible.

Dont ever hook to those offer they have. Especially if from one of their loan agent name MAHISHT C[redacted]. They want to process all paperwok fast without gathering the right information specially your property tax. He will give low property tax qoute so that your monthly mortgages is low and you get the loan. Then once the loan was all done then thats the time you will be having a lot of issue and getting your mortgage rate go high to the cieling.....

 ARE YOU SERIOUS? the letter said they waived "my late fees?" I have no late fees. My complaint was about the refinancing process. Does Revdex.com not see how ridiculous The Money Source is? They dont even know whats going on anymore. I hope Revdex.com at least knows what is going on.

Horrible,liars,not straight with clients. Tms also messed up our property taxes,they did not redo our tax analysis at the end of 2015 for our 2016 taxes . Which put us in the hole 600.00 so far. I am refinance with Jgw ,so my issue is being resolved before I'm in the hole any further. Tms tried to get my husband to refinance with them being dishonest. They told him it was not a refinance, they could just lower our payments because we have paid on time for 6 months. What! Good thing I took over. Very incompetent company. Don't go with TMS.
