I received a voicemail from a representative of Island Rec on Wednesday 6/**I returned that call on Friday 6/**The representative's name was ***At the start of the conversation I tried to state my case and he became extremely combative and rudeAt that point I gave the phone to my daughter who tried to explain the situation, and his response was well " you expect us to pay for ground prep" and told her he would call her back and hung upI have not heard back from himIt is not that I expect Island Rec to pay for ground prep, I expect Island Rec to take responsibility for the surveyor that came to my house and did not advise us of the additional charges due to his inability to survey the area properlyThe point of a survey prior to installation is to advise the consumer of any additional charges that might be incurredThis was not doneAt this point I do not wish to have any further contact with any Island Recreation representative, as I do not feel I should be subjected to a combative and rude attitude.

This is not a resolution to the problem Island rec does nothing for the customer until further action is taken If there was 1, 2, 3, problems with the pool, and they were resolved in a timely manner that would be a different story, as you can see by going back and forth they kept refusing to order this part for me, and I was responsible They look for the cheapest solution to fix the problems, fixing their mistakes with cheaper screws that rust, siliconing in caps and ledges that don't even belong to the pool and pump I didn't let order, substituting a cheaper pool, was supposed to get a blue torrent pump instead they gave me one that they had to get rid of because it was getting discontinued I want restitution, ordering me a $part don't make up for all the damage done and all the times my kids couldn't enjoy the pool I gave them an attitude after they refused to pay for the part in the first place, stood in the store and told them they need to get me this part, I refuses to leave, they told me get out or the police will be called!! Really, now you want to spend the for a part after all the aggrevation, no good!! This will not be resolved by this part, really, stop nickel and diming me, I want this pool down and money returnedit's a lemon.

In response to the above complaint *** *** called in and stated that the filter syatem was not was not connected in which it was in the 1st appointment*** *** stated he was a *** *** *** ***r and would hand cuff my self as well as staff and "Beat Them" ** *** proceed to use abusive, inappropriate language etcthe installation has been completed and island will not return to *** ***s residence after these Threats were made to us directlyThank you

I have spoken directly to ** *** and we have authorized a return of the unit in question*** *** will return the unit today

The check will be sent out this weekOn our return policy it states that any purchase made with cash or check will be refunded in the form of a check from our main officeThe check is sent out within 10-business daysThe check will be mailed out this week and the customer will be contacted
once the check is mailed

On July ***, we setup an installation for a new pumpWe advised the consumer that the pump comes off easily. The installer would install the new pump at no charge, but he would have to pick up the new pumpThe installer went there on July *** and there was no pump at the home. The
installer instructed how to remove the defective pumpWe are awaiting a response from the consumer

At the current time the retail location has contacted the consumer and offered a second unit t at 50% discount

An order for a free ladder has been entered into the system under the customers phone # which is 2-**- The salt system will be installed at no charge on July ***, they are not expected in until 7/**

This is exactly what I was told the first times I was lied to...I just don't understand why you guys can't simply keep up with the promise that was made at the time of purchase. Your sales person is who messed up the order from the beginning which supposedly caused all of the problems in issuing me my rebate. Why am I being penalized because your employees don't have knowledge of your products and services. I have been lied to over and over since the purchase. I don't care if *** is cutting the check. I will only declare this complaint resolved once I receive the check and it is cleared and deposited in my bank account. How do I even know that this isn't a lie again claiming that *** is cutting the check? Your company promised me the check not ***!

As promised we have issued the promised Gift Certificate offered to *** *** by the installation manager *** in the amount of $GC# *** ready for immediate use in any of our retial locations

I don't think that a $store credit is a fair resolution based on the fact that I had to pay an additional $because of their inability to properly survey the areaA fair resolution is a full refund of the additional money I had to payWhy should I as a consumer have to incur this expense because island recreational did not properly survey the area and advise me in advance of these charges which is the point of a survey

The pump was sold through Blue Torrent to an outside dealer in our mutual clients home area. I am not sure if said business has since ceased operation. The pump was purchased through them. The manufacture, Blue Torrent, contacted us to help the consumerThe pump in question we
were not in stock of at the time they called. We advised when we received a new shipment we would send the pump outRemember, this is not our customer, we have not received monies of any kind from the consumer. We will be sending a pump out to them when we receive in this week, I apologize for the inconvenience

We have not been made aware of the pool collapsing 3x. The last time we were made aware of an issue with the pool was in when we FIXED the skimmerSince then there has been no contactIf the pool is rusting, the manufacturer handles that, this is not a brush offThe manufacturer handles all warranty claimsSkimmers leak through the winter, expansion causes the screws to loosen and the skimmer to leakThat is the issue, not an installation issue

We were out on June *** to address the skimmer leak, as far as we know that has been completedPlease verify, if the skimmer is still leaking let us know and we will send the technician out to fixThe ball valves were not present at the time of installation, the $store credit is to cover the
installation costThe store issues the valves at no charge on 6/**

If the $refund was approved by you, we will process and have the check sent out to you
