Stay Away
I was a previous employee, The owner Bill Maloof aka (consultant) was the owner of a previous propane company called Level Propane. He was sued and in a court of law is not allowed to deliver propane to residential houses EVER! The company is in his wifes name Angela Maloof, but don't be fooled he runs the company. He is a very devious man and will screw over his mother given the chance. I would not deal with this company ever. You should look up all the lawsuits against the Maloofs before you decide to give them your money. They will take your money but getting fuel in winter is difficult because of many delivery issues (trucks pulled from the junkyard and used for delivery or not enough money to buy propane to fill customers tanks). If you are a current customer and have a pre-buy they have 15 business days to deliver your propane or you can call the Attorney General and they will be fined. Now the way they work around that is they will deliver 100 gallons and have you call in again to come back out which gives them another 15 days to get more propane to you. If you do not have a pre buy and place an order they have 5 business days to fill your tank or you can call the Attorney General. They can get fined up to $ 1,000 per complaint. Complaints will get their attention. If you look at the BBB complaints they have dodged many complaints this year saying that drivers had covid and they could not cover the territory that is total BS no driver for the company has had covid. Just use your common sense, read the reviews and save yourself a big headache, go somewhere else.

Hello, customer placed order on 12/29/tank was at 30% and was told it was 10-business days Customer chatted online and was told the same thing, up to business days Customer demanded to know the exact date, which we do not provide Today is the 8th business day We are delivering within terms

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meAs long as we get a refund per the business' message

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/10/22) */ We regret the customer's unsatisfactory experience Thrifty has beefed up its customer service call center in anticipation of the coming winterWe are augmenting our fleet and reviewing our procedures to streamline response in both arenas On 10-16-15, customer received a delivery of gallons

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me The day after I filled the complaint Thrifty propane called and the lady said they found our gallons of gas it is not goneWe scheduled a delivery at that time, I think today is day or so we will see Hopefully we will get a load of gas next week

This customer received their propane on 12/21/the 13th business day This is within our 10-business day delivery time

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/08/26) */ We regret Ms***'s unsatisfactory experience On 7/13/at the time the order was placed for a Change Out our customer service indicated the following: The current tank must be less than 20% so the driver can move it, the area must be fully accessible by a service truck so that the driver can get within or ft of the tank The customer was aware that the driver would need to get within or ft of the tankTherefore, the lawn was unavoidable in order to process the order We are beefing up our customer service call center to handle the volume of calls for this year

I am rejecting this response because: When I ordered propane it said to business daysI know people who have ordered months agoThrifty propane is either out of business keeping peoopre- buy gas money or just cannot keep up with there supply and demand This is the first time I’ve ever heard of business daysWe have gone with a different company, thank goodness they were able too come todayAnd we’re are these calls being sent to what state or should I say what country, these people cannot even speak clearly English

Customer has been in contact with our company in regard to the refund They were told they will get a check in the mail once this is processed refund of gallons, Ppg: 1.109, Subtotal: 273.37, Tax at 0%: ., Hazmat: 19.94, CC: 0, Total: We do not refund for calling another provider to deliver

I have sent this to upper mgmt, and we will be out to get the tank, thank you for your patience

Delivery was made on the 11th business day 1/19/- well with in the business day terms

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/01/19) */ We regret the customer's unsatisfactory experience The customer had two conversations with Thrifty regarding this matter 12/29/Customer Service Manager called and spoke with customerIt was explained the ppg is based on the percent customer provides at the time of order filling to 80%Not the time of delivery filling to 90%

We will not be disputing the credit card, please ignore all invoices sent for the few gallons that was misdelivered We apologize for the inconvenience

We apologize for the delay, a driver will be at the house tomorrow

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/10/01) */ CUSTOMERS CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED IN ERROR AND WAS REFUNDED IMMEDIATELYPER CUSTOMERS REQUEST THE CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WAS REMOVEDTRANSACTION ID----REFUND:Transaction ID: [redacted] Payment Method: XXXX [redacted] Amount: USD (260.47) Customer Name: [redacted] Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 7, 2015/10/02) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) My credit card was supposedly charged in error due to another customer with a very similar nameI feel though that this still should not have happened if they were thoroughThey should have noticed the customer address was not matchingThey did handle the credit promptly and courteously once I was able to contact someone after multiple phone calls and waiting a full day for someone to return my call from voice mail

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/07/06) */ Thrifty regrets the customer's unsatisfactory experience Thrifty delivered gallons to the customer on 7-6- Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2016/07/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Thrifty delivered the propane to the residence on 7/6/after the request for the fill had be CANCELLED on 7/5/ Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 9, 2016/07/13) */ Thrifty has not heard from the customer after the delivery on 7-6-16, therefore, the customer accepted the delivery on 7-6- If the customer wants the gallons that were delivered on 7-6-pumped out, the customer needs to indicate to Thrifty Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (4200, 11, 2016/07/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I tried contacting Thrifty for a week after they delivered the propane and could not get ahold of ANYONE! I called repeatedly for daysWhen I was able to leave a message with someone they were never returned and when I requested a call back I never received one

I am rejecting this response because:Obviously Thrifty Propane did not read the original complaint The order for a full fill was placed on their automated system on 1/4/ We never received a confirmation of the order, so called on 1/5/and had to re-place the orderYes on 1/16/a truck showed up, only after we threatened legal action, and instead of filling the tank, only left gallon bring the tank to only 51%, apparently to appease us and leaving us now to have to monitor the tank and place another order They may say they were here in Business Days but they did not fill the tank They charge you in the beginning of a Pre-Buy a storage fee Why did we not receive a full fill They do not answer their phones, have resorted to a foreign, hard to understand, rude call center to place orders They know full well that a Business Day time frame is way too long to deliver, which this time frame has changed for the 7-Business Day

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meWe have contacted another company to complete the repairs and we have sent a request to Thrifty Propane to arrange for propane delivery
