Regards,
[redacted] I still don't think I should have had to pay anything out of pocket. The only reason I did is I drive my kids around and can't be driving them around on tires that was that bad. Being that I paid for a warrant and it did not have any meaning when my tires prematurely wore out. The tires was only about 6 months or less at the time. I feel that Tire Discounters put used or tires that did not meet stander by the company. There for I feel a refund should be give on this matter tires just don't prematurely ware out in 6 months or less. Thank yo [redacted]
We did have a disconnect and lack of communication on where the key fob ended up. Customer request of $75.00 was granted to aid in the purchase of a new key fob. Associates involved were coached on proper movment of customer key sets. Keys are to stay with the vehicle or work order bag at ALL times....

[redacted] bought 2 new Milestar MS932 tires from
Tire Discounters on Church St. in Murfreesboro, TN on Nov.1,2016. On Dec. 17,
2016 one of her tires went flat. She brought
her car back to Tire Discounters, we took the wheel and tire off of the vehicle,
were unable find anything wrong with the wheel or tire, we reinstalled and re-inflated
the tire and put it back on the vehicle.
January 7th,
customer went to work, came out and the same tire was flat again. She had roadside service come and change her
tire and returned to Tire Discounters Monday 1-9-17.
Tire Discounters dismounted the tire from the wheel and
noticed that the inside side walls of the tire were shredded do to the tire
being driven on flat causing irreparable damage to the tire. The regional manager, [redacted] looked at
the tire and confirmed the damage was caused from her driving on the tire while
it was going flat. According to the customer,
the tire light had been staying on due to the change in weather, however, the
light only comes on when the air is below the recommended PSI threshold programmed
by Nissan.
Tire Discounters has determined that the customer drove on
tire while loosing air or flat which caused the irreparable damage to the
tire. Customer admits that the tire
pressure light was on for a couple days and assumed it was because of the
weather. Tire Discounters assumes no responsibility for this claim.
We hav turn it over to a lawyer to handle, no need for the Revdex.com assist in his matter.
Tire availability varies from day to day at our 103 stores, warehouses and 3rd party vendors. We do our best to keep all tires in stock and ready for purchase for our customers. Our stock is filled as much as possible for every sale we run. The Tire Discounters website states our...
“deals” are for “in stock” tires only. We apologize the Cooper tires were not available in stock, on the day Mr. [redacted] called. There was a huge rush with the sale and we sold our stock. When we purchase tires from a 3rd party vendor, there is usually an additional fee for shipping. We make great efforts to insure our marketing and advertising is honest and customer friendly.

My greatest loss in this matter is the inordinate amount of time I had to invest in simply getting new tires correctly installed due to the incompetence and dishonesty of Tire Discounter representatives. I previously agreed to accept $400 (only half of what I request) for the lost wheel caps if I was also at least partly being compensated for my time. Since Tire Discounter's is seemingly unwilling to acknowledge their responsibility in this area I again request an appointment with [redacted].

I know that all of the oil came out on that day (April 21) because I saw it in a puddle under my car on the interstate when I bro** down on the interstate. I am not saying that my car had a leak. You are correct that a normal leak would cause oil to be all over the car. However, I am saying that the oil all came out of the drain plug. This would not cause it to cover the car. The oil plug was obviously placed back in the car or it only would have run for a day at most. I am saying that whoever put the drain plug back in either only finger tightened it down or left off the "O" ring which cause it to fall out further down the road because there is no other way that my drain plug came out 2 months and 20 days later (it was obviously put back in, just not correctly or the car would not have arrived at [redacted] Auto with no drain plug at all).

We reviewed the matter again and stand by our previous response. The store did everything necessary to address the vehicle needs to prevent any question of necessary repairs. The concern of the alignment being related to the brake line failing is unrealistic as the two are independent from each other. But out of good faith we did not charge the customer for the labor to repair the brake line. Please let us know if you need any additional information on this customer concern
In addition to prior communications sent, Jim tried to re-follow up with Mr. [redacted] via phone and then email. Below is the latest correspondence. We are still willing to work with Mr. [redacted] to resolve this issue, but would need to have more open communication. Let us know if there is anything further that we can do to assist. Mr. [redacted] would pay cost for the oil pan no additional mark up and Tire Discounters is splitting the cost of the labor plus giving a free oil change. When and if Mr. [redacted] agrees he will be required to sign a release. Again the $320.00 is the cost of the oil pan and half of the labor. This is our best and Final offer. We have apologized multiple times for any inconvenience, but Tire Discounters is not responsible for the damaged cause by third party negligence. Mr. [redacted] vehicle history with us shows that he is taking his vehicle to more than just Tire Discounters for oil changes. There is a stretch as much as 12,000 miles where an oil change wasn't done with us. If Mr. [redacted] is maintaining his vehicle properly like the beginning of his history shows, his oil should have been change 4 times over.
Tire Discounters would like to formally apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We take claims like these very seriously. Upon further investigation. We cannot confirm or deny weather or not the stud was broken when the vehicle came into our location. We are willing to pay for the labor if...
the customer is willing to pay for the parts. Please let us know when the best time would be to have your vehicle brought into be repaired.
We replaced Mr. [redacted] tires at no cost as a courtesy. We inspected the vehicle this morning at no cost due to a vibration reported and cannot find anything additional wrong that would be Tire Discounters responsibility. He has had multiple 90k mile services at other repair shops as well. The completed tire replacement is all that we can offer in this case. Thank you.
Attached is the customer's written authorization permitting her mother to file this complaint on her behalf.
Attached you will find a picture of the type of wheel bearing and hub in question. The wheel bearing was replaced by Tire Discounters on 9/18/2015. Premature failure of a bearing is common when the hub fits loosely inside the wheel bearing. Hub's begin to wear overtime causing play between the hub and the bearing. To respond to the allegations that the bearing was never replaced. The customer came in on 9/18/2015 complaining of a noise in the front end. If the bearing had not been replaced the noise would have continued and the customer would have returned a lot sooner than 2 years. As well as when a bearing makes noise it is at the end of its life. If the bearing was not replaced it would have failed before the current 2 year mark. Again Tire Discounters warranty is 6 months 6000 miles. The customer exceeds that 3 times over. We made the customer a deal that if he pays for the hub and labor we will pay for the bearing. That offer still stands. However this is the only offer we are willing to give.
Mr. [redacted] was refunded $98.00 back to his MasterCard on 11/6/2017. He should see the credit in the next 24-72 hours. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Business said car was fixed last night at 7:20 pm and the customer signed the papers. Business said they provided bearings for free.
Mr. [redacted] brought his 2017 Toyota Camry into our location on 03/06/2018 invoice# [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] had a passenger rear tire that had gone flat, that need repaired. We repaired the tire and parked his vehicle into a parking spot out front of our location. Mr. [redacted] was promptly invoiced, once he...
got out to his vehicle he found a scratch on the right rear door on the driver’s side. Mr. [redacted] came back into our location and spoke with our General Manager of that location about it. Tire Discounters cannot confirm the scratch was there before the vehicle was brought into our location. Mr. [redacted] has gotten two estimates from auto body shops he would prefer. Tire Discounters agrees to refund Mr. [redacted] the amount of the [redacted] estimate, $810.56 plus provide him a 3 day rental while his vehicle is being repaired. This is strictly under customer satisfaction. Tire discounters apologizes for any inconvenience this has caused. Mr. [redacted] will be required to sign a release of claims (see attached). Once returned we can complete his damage refund and mail the check out to him.
After reviewing the case and verifying the customer’s concern, it was decided to replace the 2 tires that are the incorrect size at no charge to the customer. It was also decided to offer the customer a free tire for the third wheel and have her pay for the fourth one. The customer...
agreed to the price of $100.00 for the fourth tire. The work was completed on 11/5/16 (invoice attached). Let us know if you need anything further to update this ticket or take care of Ms. [redacted].

In reference to complaint ID [redacted], their responses are close enough for me. I do not recall the oil change being that price but it's close, yes, we could tell they did that part. It would've saved us all some time and trouble if they would've fixed this pricing then instead of later. Tire Discounters is a name we've come to trust over the years and this was just bad customer service, don't charge for things they can't fix! They should've thrown in the oil change because of all the trouble, time and aggravation this caused.
