I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I never agreed to bring my car back to that Tire Discounters.  I asked them to give me my old tires back so I could go somewhere and get tires where they know what they are doing, after all they have had three chances to fix the problem with no results.  They refused my request.

Below is a summary as to why I reject the resolution offered by Tire Discounters.. Wheel Covers: As a result of Tire Discounters failing to secure my wheel covers on multiple occasions and the fact that Ford no longer manufactures these we are now in a position where we have to rely on inferior quality aftermarket parts. These do not embody the quality of the OEM parts and are subject to falling off the vehicle and becoming lost requiring replacements. This is one reason why we are requesting an allowance of $200 per wheel. The vehicle’s resale value has been lessened with the absence of Ford wheel covers. This is another reason for insistence of the above allowance. This vehicle is used to deliver expensive exhibits to museums. As part of the sales experience it is necessary that we exemplify quality in not only our products but the delivery experience as well. This is why our van is kept in immaculate condition. Missing wheel covers simply makes an otherwise nice and clean looking vehicle look “junky.” We have been in this situation for several months. Service Experience: Details of the frustrating and time consuming experience associated with these issues have been described in length in my initial complaint and in email and telephone conversations. As clearly emphasized by Mr. [redacted] on multiple occasions, numerous elements of my service experience are related to Tire Discounter representatives being dishonest and/or incompetent. As a result of this, I have spent many hours of my valuable time both waiting for problems to be rectified at Tire Discounter locations and in email and telephone conversations. I am constantly hearing advertisements where Tire Discounters emphasizes that they “Do the Right Thing.” This clearly hasn’t been my experience when it comes to compensating me for these shortcomings.  In addition to the above $800 wheel cover allowance, I am requesting a refund of both my installation cost for the new tires and the mark up of the Michelin tires (difference between Tire Discounter’s cost and my cost for these tires).  Sincerely,[redacted]

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Well first of all they state that I brought my own tires into their shop for mounting and balancing, this is true. Was this the issue? Are they not capable of mounting and balancing tires brought in from another location? Do they have to sell the tires in order to perform the work necessary to do it right? Please note on the TOPIX forum in Frankfort KY the response from the management of Tire Discounters in that topic. They called me a "MFER" Brad the GM called me on that same day and told me he had looked at my post and wanted to discuss it with me. He apparently had a buddy from the New Albany store post it for him.  The term professional organization does not apply to that comment at all. Tire Discounters should be embarrassed!!!As far as going to another one of their stores, sure, I wouldn't bring a donkey to the Tire Discounters in Frankfort. The current mileage reimbursement rate is $.54 per mile, there is a location in Lexington and Louisville that are exactly 45 miles away from me. The mileage cost will be approx. $48.60 along with an 1.5 hours of travel time and the .5 hours it may take to redo what they were incapable of doing at their Frankfort Location. I have already paid for it to be done right the first time. I would expect to be reimbursed for my time and mileage in order for them to resolve this issue.

Shane Quenemoen

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] I Put the original rims and tires back on my car and my car is driving perfectly. So the new rims and tires were causing the problem.

Respectfully Tire Discounters has not changed its position on this matter.

This business is completely negligent and dishonest in everything that they have been portraying to me. I have compiled a great deal of evidence in this case and it is absolutely impossible for any party to be at fault in this instance except for Tire Discounter's. A mediation session would be a complete waste of time as these incompetent liars have been sticking to their 'we haven't done anything wrong' story from the start. ONLY after the Revdex.com have sided with me and explained the insurmountable evidence against TD were they then open to a mediation session.
I'm taking these fools to court. If my Father would not have paid the huge bill to fix my car I would have been without my vehicle for 3 STRAIGHT WEEKS waiting on a darned phone call from TD.

Mr. [redacted] has not been happy with tires that he purchased 2 years ago. Customer feels that the tires are "out of round" and has been battling this issue for almost 2 years. He has visited several of our locations to attempt resolution, however he has not been satisfied with any solutions. We...

going to exchange his current tires out for another brand. Customer communicated he is satisfied with our resolution. Please let us know if you need any further information. Thanks.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not...

completely resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details appear below.
While the business did repair the vehicle with ball bearings in the passenger side free of charge, there was still slight play in the ball joint, and the business refused to repair it, as per Mike Smith, RM, who stated that it didn't require repair at this point.  It was unclear if the ball joint would be covered for repairs if it should get worse.  There was also language in the receipt about the current repairs superseding the repairs from 9/2016, and unfortunately at the time of writing this, I do not have the paperwork in front of me to determine if the newest repairs will be covered under any warranty, but I would like to have it documented in this conversation with the Revdex.com.  The other issue that was not resolved was the fact that we spent over $1,000 for shocks and struts that we believe may or may not have been necessary, but which we were told it would fix the noises we were hearing in the front end, which it did not since they were not from the shocks and struts.  It also does not make up for the hours of time spent trying to resolve this, as well as the inconveniences we experienced with all the traveling back and forth between garages, and having only one vehicle at several times in the last year.  I called every day (except for the weekend) from 5/12 through 5/16, with some days calling several times a day to try to get a response from a manager both at the regional and corporate levels.  The entire situation made me physically ill, and even in the end, the management was not apologetic, they were just trying to give as little as possible to resolve the issue.  The entire situation required me to talk to an area manager, and at least two regional managers, as well as two people at the corporate level, and unanswered messages left for the customer service department manager at the corporate level.  I will add that the service manager and another employee at the location who did the repair, were very kind and helpful, and it is my hope that this repair was the final repair we have to have for the problems that started in 2/2016.  As a final resolution for my complaint, I would accept in writing, in plain language, a detailed response regarding the ball joint and the potential for repairs in the future, as well as confirmation as to whether there is any further warranty on the newest repair of the ball bearings, and if so, what the end date would be for that.  In addition, I am willing to accept a $700 refund check due to the fact that I still maintain that we paid for shocks and struts which were supposed to resolve the noise issue, and which did not do so.

[redacted] met Or Customer service Director at our Hebron Location. Where she sign the attached release of claims. And received a check for the full amount of the Strut and Shock invoice. Tire Discounters admits no fault we simply did this for customer retention and satisfaction.

The Regional Manager has investigated the events related to this complaint.  When the vehicle was brought to our location, one of our sales staff went to the vehicle and using the car key had no difficulty turning the key so he could get the current mileage.  The same employee later went...

out with the same key to move the vehicle and was unable to turn the key in the ignition.  We never were able to move the key and did no service on the vehicle.  The cause of the key cylinder failure is undetermined, but may be related to normal wear over time.  Tire Discounters does not take responsibility for failure of the key cylinder.  Let us know if you need anything further to update this ticket or take care of Mr. Neal.

Tire discounters is processing a refund in the amount of $279.95 back to the customer Visa card. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Again let me write plain in english so that the business can better understand my complaint.  The store manager and I agreed to the amount of $103.  I never received that.  I received a store credit of $50.  I do not want store credit.  I did use store credit to buy the tires and road hazard with store credit.  I used a credit card.I want the whole amount as agreed by myself and the store manager in cash, cashiers check or another form of credit not to include the store credit.  I will be happy to return the store credit as I didn't pay in store credit, I paid by credit card if asked to do so.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.old invoices presented work related to over a year ago has nothing to do with brake work not done right this time, has nothing to do with money stolen from my car, and doesn't address brake line popped by their front end alignment this response has nothing at to do with my complaint the company is trying to use my good repeated business and my old invoices to somehow show this my fault it's laughable! anyways I want my money refunded for the brakeline they broke the change stolen from me  that would total $60 and I will close my credit card with them and never do business with this company again.

We have talked with [redacted] and inspected the vehicle and clarified and confirmed that we were not authorized to perform an oil change. Therefore, we could not have caused the issues that he is having with his oil and engine. We have a clear policy to only work within the area of the car that the...

service is to be performed. Please see attached invoice that shows work performed. We did submit this to our insurance for further investigation as a courtesy, but they also did not find anything we were at fault for in this situation and denied the claim. Therefore, there is nothing further that we can offer the customer on this complaint. We hope this helps to clarify. Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks-[redacted]

Mr. K[redacted]: Just wanted to follow up with you regarding the issue of...

my wheel locks.  First, I would really like to thank Chester who needs to be commended for picking up a mess Jim neglected to handle properly. Chester went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make things right and was very pleasant to deal with, kept me up to date on things and was just all around the kind of person I prefer to deal with. Very nice gentleman, very helpful and very willing to go out of his way to get the right parts we needed!    Thanks to Chester this has been resolved. Have a blessed day. [redacted]

We have reviewed this situation and the Regional Manager has investigated it at the store.  We understand the concern to be that the customer’s daughter paid for an alignment which did not correct a pull issue with the vehicle.  The alignment printout reveals that the alignment is most...

likely contributing to the pull.  There may be other suspension issues, that relate, however as we were not able to align properly we should not have charged the customer.  I have submitted a refund request for the customer to be reimbursed the price that was paid for the alignment (including tax), $46.55.  Let us know if you need anything further to update this ticket or take care of Mr. [redacted]. Thank you for alerting us and allowing us the chance to connect.
