Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this [redacted]er to a close, we would like to know your view on the [redacted]er.]
Regards,
I have attempted to repeatedly contact Mr. [redacted] to no avail.  Now I simply want compensation for the last work done on my car and payment for the amount I had to pay another mechanic.  This amount is $236.32 and the amount I paid to another mechanic of $52.32.  I am not being unreasonable and feel that certainly I am owed at least this compensation.

Tire Discounters stands by our previous findings. Tire Discounters has come to the conclusion that the rotor Mr. [redacted] brought into our store for comparison was not the rotor we installed in March, nor the rotor that he drove on for 19,000 miles.  This is evident by the wear on the brake pads that he provided from Ford, photos attached.   Tire Discounters will not be refunding the remaining b[redacted]ce on his invoice.

Tire Discounters received a letter from [redacted] on 3/10/2017. We attempted to contact [redacted] on 3/11/2017 11:17am. Number was provided in the letter from [redacted] never responded. We attempted to contact [redacted] again on 3/13/2017 8:48am. Again still no response from [redacted]...

[redacted]. Tire Discounters operations department investigated the claim form [redacted]. Tire Discounters found no fault in the [redacted] location for excessive mark up. All of Tire Discounters markup policies we followed. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused on [redacted]. Tire Discounters is denying the claim on excessive markup.

Respectfully, our response has not changed from the last one we made.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The vehicle was left in the care of TD over night on TD's property therefore TD's responsibility. I have never had any issues with the ignition switch before. As I was told by the employee of TD to use comen sense, comen sense would tell you just because you didn't pull it in your shop doesn't mean something could have happened to it. This is the last message that will be sent. If it does not get resolved I will be taking legal action. All I ask is that TD takes responsibility and pays for the damage that was done and the repairs that were needed
Regards,
[redacted]

We are sorry for what appears to be a misunderstanding on how the TD Credit Card works with the deferred interest.  Explanation of the process was included in the paperwork the customer received with the card.  We as well have included a simplified explanation on invoices for which the TD...

Credit card is used for payment (see attached copy of the customer’s invoice).  As a result, Tire Discounters will not accept responsibility in this complaint.

Tire Discounters has service records of Mr. [redacted] bringing in this vehicle for oil changes dating back to 2009. The mileage intervals range from 4,000 mile to over 12,000 miles. On our invoice [redacted] dated 8/8/2015 there is a notation that the “engine is ticking and there is an oversize...

drain plug”. Tire Discounters made the note as the oversize drain plus was present before we started working on the vehicle. Tire Discounters doesn’t accept responsibility for a 3rd parties actions. Tire Discounters does value Mr. [redacted] as a longtime customer and has offered to spilt the cost of the repair with the cost being $320.00 as a gesture of goodwill. This offer was rejected by Mr. [redacted] BUT is still on the table and Tire Discounters will honor the offer.

Jim B[redacted], the regional manager, spoke with Mr. [redacted] and told him to give us a call when he gets back from Florida and we would be happy to figure out what is going on with the TPMS. Mr. [redacted] is upset tpms light is on. We think it could be bad sensor. Jim called the customer and told...

him when he returns from his trip that we will take a look at the vehicle. We spoke with the store and they will make the customer a priority when he returns. He will call us when he returns from his trip.

A refund request was submitted on 3/24/16.  Yesterday it was completed and a check sent to the customer (copy attached).  We have called the customer to update him so he can be looking out for it in the mail.  Let us know if you need anything further to update this ticket or take care...

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  The Assistant Regional Manager for the store has been working with the customer on this matter.  Here is documentation from him, “contacted customer on 8/1/16 and apologized for the miscommunication and the price difference. After speaking...

with the customer, offered to assist with the tires at the price quoted of 564 after her 5% discount and the $100 off.”  He also put this as the customer response, “Customer thanked Don for the call and appreciated the quote being honored. Customer looking into scheduling an appointment at store 61 to have the tires installed and service completed at the price quoted.”  Let us know if you need anything further to update this ticket or take care of [redacted]

Regards,
[redacted]I have no idea how Tire discounters can say that the rotors are correct. Their own man and I proved that they were wrong , with a tape measure at the store. I called Susan while I was standing there and their own man said that the rotors were smaller than the OEM rotors that they took off. Do I need to send a picture of the OEM rotors and the ones they put on? They NEED to do what is right. I am confused of how they can make that claim when it is that obvious. This is not acceptable to me.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]They offered to let me return the wheels and tires if I had less than 500-600 miles on them, I told them I had considerably more miles on them around 2000-3000 miles beings I drive quite a bit for my job. So the option they offered was really not an option. The manager I spoke to [redacted] is probably the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life. The offer which they said they would give me which is a $250 refund was never upheld after [redacted] the salesman and [redacted] assured me several times I would be getting. They basically pulled a bait and switch.

Tire Discounters has investigated this damage claim, by the picture provided by you ([redacted]) in this Revdex.com claim. Tire Discounters denies any claim of damage to your exhaust. There are no signs of impact or lift damage to you vehicle or to the exhaust. The likely reason for your exhaust falling off seemed to be rust. In the pictures you can clearly see both ends of the pipe are very rusted. Tire Discounters would be more than happy to help assist you with repairing your exhaust (at the expense of the customer). Tire Discounters is not responsible for this damage.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] I appreciate that I will be getting my refund in 3-5 business days, but they've been telling me that I would be getting it for at least 6 weeks now.  I left messages a few weeks ago, and I didn't hear a response. I called last week and they said they would call me back later that day, they did not. I called again last week and left a message. On Friday, I finally left a message that if they didn't get back to me within 24 hours, I would contact you, which I did, so they were incorrect in saying that they told me 3-5 business days before I filed this complaint. This will be resolved when I actually have my refund.

On 12-1 2015 I received a call from
regional manager [redacted] in response to my complaint. He asked me what could
he do for me to resolve this matter. I stated that I wanted full refund for the
tires and wheel bearing and hub assembly. I explained to him that prior to
having them put the new tires on my vehicle, my car had no issues with the
steering or any other mechanical or suspension issues…and when I drove away the
car had a lot of wobble in the steering wheel. I referred him back to the
complaint but I sensed that he didn’t have any interest. He responded with,
"would it be ok if he starts by putting new tires on the car"? I
stated not Michelins and he congratulated me for being the first to complain
about a Michelin Tire to him. I told him my concern with him having someone work
on my car from his company was if they would be competent enough to fix my car.
He stated forsure and that he has certified mechanics at his stores. I asked
which one did he suggest that I take it to and he said anyone I wanted. I
stated that I would prefer that he tell me which one that he thought would be
best to and he answered, "how about my Harrison location, because it was
close to me"? I said that would be fine. He said he would call me back at
10:00 a.m. the next day with a time to have the work done. I did not receive his
call…I called him at 2:00 p.m. on this day. He scheduled me for 12-11-2015 at 8:00
a.m. for work to be done at the Harrison location. I called Ron back on this
day and asked him what tire was he offering me...he stated that two of these
three will be at the store for me to choose from. 1) Pirelle Cinturato. 2) Avid
Touring. 3) Avid Accend.

Lou [redacted]
