[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I must preface my response by stating that I am a professional mechanic by tradeWhen my tires needed replacement I went to TD's to replace the tires due to wear even though my rode smoothlyAs a a professional mechanic I do not believe that all four rims would be bent at the same time and believe the rims were bent by TDSince my vehicle rode worse after TD replaced the tires than prior to taking to TD I took my vehicle to my work place and inspected the wheels, I found one wheel/rim was badly bent but the other three were notI replaced the bent rim and balanced all four wheels and the car rides smoothly. It was not until after the tires were replaced that rims became an issue and in my professional opinion had the rims been been bent prior to the replacement of the tires the vehicle would not have rode smoothlyI believe TD's should reimburse me for the one rim that will have to replaced

P.SI received a VM from Area District Manager, Wes, Nicholasville store, on Monday, July I called Wes on Tuesday, July 25, we discussed, we came to an agreement that I would pay for the hub assembly kitWes set an appt for me at TD, Richmond Rd today, I kept the appt, my car is now repaired, I paid for the Hub assembly kitThank you for a favorable conclusion.Best Regards

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint *** Hayley of Tire Discounters is either totally confused with another customer or he doesn't know how to dial a phone properlyI received no such contact calls at my cell phone number (which is what was listed on my letter to TD - with copy to Revdex.com)I received no VM messages at all on those dates and those purported calls are NOT listed in my call log on my smart phoneI don't know why they are making that up - I've heard that Tire Discounters main office is quite contrary in these mattersI've heard that from their own personnel at storesIf they don't refund the $that there store manager advised was fair/reasonable, then they have lost a long-time customerI would certainly talk to *** Wwhich is whom I addressed the letter to and to which NO RESPONSE has ever been received (via phone call, letter, text, or fax).

As the customer has stated we installed the Michelin Pilot Sport AStires on his car. At the time of the install the Pilot Sport AS3+ was not available and we did not receive our first delivery of them until sometime after the customer purchased the tires. In our communication with the
customer since that time the decision was made to offer a pro-ration amount to the customer for the tires he has now, and apply that towards the Pilot Sport AS 3+. That offer is still available to the customer. Let us know if you need anything further to update this ticket or take care of Mr***

On 4/22/17, *** *** brought in her *** *** *** for tire replacementInvoice *** Mileage 31,752* *** vehicle happens to be an AWD (All Wheel Drive ) vehicle** (*** ***) requires the tires to be within 4/32nds of each otherThe tire that was purchased starts at
11/32nds and Dorothy’s other tires were at 6/32nds a difference of 5/32nds, which is over the 4/32nds threshold given by *** ***Our employee was not attempting in anyway to force *** into a set of tires instead of the oneWe apologize for any inconvenience this has causedWe have taken disciplinary action against this employeeWe train our employees that perception is everythingObviously the perception taken here was not a positive oneWe have attempted to contact *** by phone, and email with no replyExcept for her Granddaughter to respond by email and say no further action was need by Tire Discounters to remedy the situationOur employee did recommend *** to visit or contact the *** dealership to verify about the AWD claim as we stated***, ***, ***, are all made by the same manufacture (*** ***)Again, Tire Discounters apologizes for any inconvenience this has causedTire Discounters is declining the request for a refund

Tire Discounters has given all the proof necessaryTire discounters will not be refunding the invoice for shocks as strutsWe have been more than helpful in replacing two of your wheel bearings free of charge. Susan has not worked for Tire Discounters since FebWe have replaced your bearing as requestedYour ball joint is not within specifications that require a replacementAgain we will not be refunding any type of compensation

*** ***Their response is a total lie! As Jared told me they were short staffed he had employees in a huddle smoking by a bay door!!! Also, he made sure to show me a “contract signed by my daughter” (years old daughter) claiming he was free to treat us any way he saw fit!!! The car got into the garage @ 6:pm, had a 5:pm appointment) and it was due to Jared being “short staffed” as the staff he had smoked by the bay door!!! As we waited for hours we got to read all the signage explaining how “important” their services were to the life of the tires! BUT, “only after a smoke break & possibly before we close should be to their signage along with we have a minors signature to cover our actions” should be added to all their advertisements! They took advantage of a year old female and backtracked on their actions when an adult with a backbone appeared!!! Shame on Jared, that staff and Tire Discounters!!!

I provided the invoice from the day before they replaced the shocks and struts They state that they are investigating a noise, and then they gave me the estimate for the shocks and struts They verbally told me that the shocks and struts were the cause of the problem, which is why they noted this on the invoice with the estimate Your response makes no sense since I provided clear proof of this issue I am still insisting on a full refund for the shocks and struts because it did not fix the problem, and I repeatedly notified your GM, Mike P**, who personally assured me that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle until we brought it back yet another time in September when he informed me about the passenger side ball joint and ball bearing and we notified the corporate office I notified you in November 2016, that we were still experiencing issues, on Facebook, your customer service department responded that it was being investigated We called and we were told the same thing, that someone would be getting back to us, and I even sent a text to Susan, assuming that she was still employed there I will seek clarification from the Revdex.com as to how we should proceed from here, as well as file a complaint with the Commonwealth of Kentucky for deceptive repair services, as well as any other organizations or agencies who might be able to investigate this matter further THE ISSUE IS CLEAR - YOUR ESTIMATE, AS I PROVIDED A COPY PREVIOUSLY, AND PROVIDED A COPY NOW, CLEARLY STATES THAT THEY WERE TRYING TO FIND THE CAUSE OF THE NOISE THAT WE WERE HEARING AFTER YOU REPLACED THE BALL JOINT ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE, AND THEN THEY GAVE US AN ESTIMATE FOR SHOCKS AND STRUTS THEY VERBALLY TOLD US THAT THIS WAS THE PROBLEM, AND WE NEVER WOULD HAVE HAD THE REPAIRS DONE IF THEY HAD NOT TOLD US IT WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM (THE FIRST PAGE IS THE INVOICE AND THE DATE IS THE NEXT DAY AFTER WE RECEIVED THE ESTIMATE) WE REPEATEDLY BROUGHT THE VEHICLE BACK BECAUSE OF THE SAME NOISE, AND WE REPEATEDLY COMPLAINED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS TO MRPOE, AND ONCE HE GAVE ME A FREE OIL CHANGE BECAUSE I WAS SO UPSET WE NOTIFIED YOU IN NOVEMBER THAT WE WERE STILL HEARING THE NOISE AND THAT MRP** (AT THAT TIME LOCATED IN THE FLORENCE LOCATION) TOLD US THAT WE SHOULD TAKE IT TO WALTON, AND WALTON TOLD US THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE A MECHANIC WHO COULD REPAIR IT AND THEY REFERRED US TO ANOTHER LOCAL GARAGE WE HAVE COPIES OF THE FACEBOOK POST WHERE YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT SAID THEY WERE LOOKING INTO IT WE HAVE A COPY OF THE TEXT MESSAGE SENT TO SUSAN ON THE SAME DATE YOU CANNOT REFUTE THE PROOF I HAVE PROVIDED JUST GIVE ME THE REFUND FOR THE SHOCKS AND STRUTS AND THEN WE CAN JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND HAVE THE REPAIRS DONE CORRECTLY I do not accept your response, and I will continue not to accept it because the evidence is undeniable!!!!

Their opinion is that they didn't cause the damage, but the vehicle that was taken to them did not have the damage I am claiming prior to their work being completedIf you look at the bungled process from start to finish and the time it took them to complete while forgetting to put on the new front tires in the first place one can only imagine what was done physicallyThe only other place this car has been taken for tires was a Porsche dealer where they obviously care a bit more about their customers investment than TireDiscountersI'm not asking for what it will probably cost to have my wheels recoated in the first place, and furthermore I should get credit for the future balance and alignments that I will not be using as I've lost all confidence in their abilities to perform the work in a professional and satisfactory manner without causing further damage. My suggestion would be to settle the claim so that we can part ways and go about our lives.

The Director of Operations reviewed the complaint and photos of the wheel and has determined the damage to the wheel is not related to the service we performed. As a result we are denying the claim that we damaged the wheels. Let us know if you need anything further to update this ticket

Mr*** was invited in to the store where he originally had the alignment and suspension work done and the Store Manager, *** Litteral inspected the vehicle with him. It was determined the issue with steering related to the new steering shaft Ford had installed for him. ***
recommended he return to Ford as the part and service should still be under warranty. The pull the Mr*** was experiencing was caused by tire wear and *** put together a great price for a set of tires for the ***. The *** said he would call in a week or so to get those ordered. *** informed me the tie rod replacement was required as the existing tie rod was bent. This was discovered when they did the alignment on 2/18/16. Let us know if you need anything further to update this ticket or take care of Mr***Thank you for alerting us and allowing us the chance to connect

A finger tight drain plug would still cause a leak that would cause the bottom of the vehicle to be cover in oilThe likelihood of a drain plug falling out without allowing any oil to cover the bottom of the vehicle is almost unheard ofIf the vehicle would have left with finger tight drain plug it would have leaked sooner than monthsThe vehicle went over 2/3rds the life of the oil change before damage. Tire Discounters is not accepting responsibility for the damage to the vehicle
