This customer accepted installation and signed off on the work as excellentA discount was provided in consideration of a competitor's price estimate, which was for a significantly lower quality material than the product purchased from National Floors Direct

Installation was never completed,complaint was filedInstallers never replace moved furniture,left seems unfinished,threw unused padding in our basementMissed install in closet.Never cleaned or vacumed debris,staples all over the floor.They demanded payment in cash up front, my wife had to leave the res to get the money before they would start.When I questioned the installer he said someone else would be back to finish the closet.!!! I called my salesman *** *** he spoke to the installer and assured us everything would be taken care of.The installer developed an attitude his assistant started to load up their equipment the next thing I know the're pulling out of the drivewayI ran to catch him he said he's done hereAll of this is videoed and photo documentation.*** *** Police called report is in the works.I contacted *** *** in customer service he had no information there was a problem but would look into iti forwarded all my photos to him,I want a full refund.Complaint also filed with Dept of Consumer Protection.I have more photos that will not fit here,I will gladly share them

What is the resolution that Mr*** is seeking at this time? First he wanted a FULL refund after more than sf of material was installed in his ***.Second he wanted an extra room of flooring installed.Now what???

cannot refund $as requestedWe take every effort to clearly communicate to customers the commons issues & misconceptions associated with the kind of installation project in her homeFor example, our pre-installation checklist (signed 09/03/by Ms*** and initialed at each individual line item) clearly outlines National Floors Direct's position on appliances, door cutting, and hidden wires; "#Customer is responsible for disconnecting and re-connecting appliances - Gas Stoves, Ice Makers, Refrigerators, etc.," "#NFD cannot cut or adjust doorsYour new installation may require doors to be cut or adjustedOur installers will rehang doors where possible," and, "#Hidden wires and plumbing must be brought to the installer's attentionIf there is concealed plumbing or wiring that is not brought to the installer's attention prior to the installation, we cannot be held responsible in any way for damageIt is not possible for our installers to see through the floor or wall while cutting or nailing." With respect to the removal of the existing flooring, the front of the purchase order clearly indicates that we will "Rip & Remove stick on tile if needed," and makes no mention whatsoever of removing layers of linoleum as is Ms***' claimFurther, National made no attempts to collect a restocking fee from Ms***, nor would we in the case of an emergency, and our paperwork - as well as the paperwork accepted by Ms*** at the time of installation - clearly indicates that National's installation team delivered and installed brown vinyl cove base (the "toe plate," referenced) and coordinating reducer strips (the "threshold plates" referenced) in the appropriate areas

National Floors Direct has already processed a full refund of Mr***'s deposit, independently of Revdex.com or this complaint
National Floors Direct beat Ms***'s competitive estimate from ***'s with a higher grade of carpet by 15%Subsequently, when that style was determined to be unavailable for the intended installation date, National Floors Direct offered a FREE upgrade to an even higher grade of carpetThe initial estimated installation date could not be metThe Monday immediately after the original estimated date was offered and declined by the customerMs***'s husband requested an installation date of 04/22/On that day, Mr*** refused the carpet installationHe acknowledged that the carpet National Floors Direct sent matched the agreed-upon (in writing) upgraded style but that he wanted something elseThe carpet was special orderedMr*** is welcome to re-select the carpet to something else but that change will subject the order to a restocking fee for the carpet he refusedWe cannot give any refund at this time as we have far more than the customer's deposit amount in delivering the carpet for which they contracted

[ I have tacks sticking in my feet when walking up the stairs in bare feet, this was also not addressed in their responseThey told me I would receive a call from the installation manager, which has not happened and calls to them go ignoredI DO NOT believe this is the carpet we purchased and there is nothing in writing showing it was matched to the carpet I purchasedI feel completely scammed by this company and their lack of customer serviceThey also did not address their price guarantee used in their ad'sI do not agree with their responseThe sign off was for the installers, which showed up for their job and installed the carpetThe quality of the carpet is not on them it is on the company whom I purchased the carpet from, NFD. As I stated, had I refused the carpet they threatened a $restocking fee and I was already out $I do NOT WANT to purchase another carpet from them at a discount price, I would like them to replace the carpet with better quality carpet at their expense or refund me in full so I can find a better companyTheir ad states a price guarantee or freeSigned *** ***

Ms*** was well aware that the cancellation period on this order had expired prior to installationWe cannot cancel orders for custom cut carpet loaded to an installer for installationShe has since accepted delivery and installation of her carpet
As has been explained to Ms*** in detail, National Floors Direct cannot offer any refund for this projectWe cannot schedule specific arrival time frames for installationWe need to reserve the entire day for installationWe will need to re-schedule the installation for a day that Ms*** can be available the entire day for the work to take placeNational Floors Direct cannot issue a refund for this projectWe are ready, willing, and able to install the carpet as contracted at her convenience, days per week

I called within the day right of recision window to start the cancellation processThe phone call was supposed to be recorded but apparently National Floors Direct has no record of itThe customer service rep told me that regular mail would be how to get the form thereHe knew I was calling from MA and I would have had to overnight the form to get it there on timeFaxing and emailing a scanned copy was not acceptableEven if you cancelled minutes after signing the contract, you can't get a letter to NY in days. It was not clear on the cancellation form that the form has to be received by the time the days is up.
