During a divorce it became urgent to sell our home so we could go our separate ways. This company gave us a fair cash offer and within two weeks the house had been sold. The company allowed us time to take what we needed and we were able to leave the rest for the company to take care of. The company also kept us in the loop so we were well I formed as to what the status of the sale was. We would definitely recon end thinks co
YAGL.

I received a notice in the mail from this organization that has a photo graph of my home. I did not ask for nor am I seeking service from this company. I am disturbed that they have a photo of my home when I have nothing to do with them. I called the company to express my concerns that the lady I spoke to hung up on me.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: In the company's response they indicated that they have no control of their own advertising. I find it surprising this company contacted me with their advertisement and they admit to having no control over their own behavior. I did not contact this company. I did not seek out their services. However, they went through public records to find out about the death of my wife and to obtain my name and the property I own. This action is repugnant. I would never seek out public records of Andy McFarland's deceased spouse, find photos of his property and then make a run at him in order to make a profit. My conscious would see such actions as morally and ethically questionable. I will never do business with a company that would make a run at a widow or widower for profit. I explained to the woman that hung up on me that their actions towards me is disturbing. A search of the Revdex.com's records on this company shows that I am not alone. Others who have suffered a family loss have felt the same invasion of privacy. I am going to asked again for the third time now, get control of your company and it's actions and leave me alone.

Sincerely

We are sorry to hear your concerns. We do our very best to filter out those that have requested to not be contacted. If we could guarantee that you never receive anything in the future from us, we would. However, there's no way to absolutely guarantee this.

I was having a hard time maintaining my rental property. It was in rough shape and was losing money every month. Enlighten helped me out so much. Selling my house was a totally painless process and I got a very generous price even for the condition. I strongly recommend Enlighten Home buyers if you are considering selling your property.

We had a fantastic experience with Enlight Homebuyers! When Garrett came over he was knowledgeable and explained everything out in great detail. He explained the whole process and nothing was hidden. Everything happened exactly as he said it would! There was no surprises or hidden fees and if any problems arose then Garrett and his team where quick to respond and resolve any issues. Even the title company they used was fantastic in reviewing everything and ensuring that every document was understood and clear to us. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to sell their house quickly and easily! GREAT JOB ENLIGHT HOMEBUYERS!

The Embrace team has been fantastic .. start to finish. My husband and I were experiencing financial hardship. Garrett returned my call almost immediately, and came to our home to meet. He was kind, sympathetic to our situation, extremely thorough, and allowed us all the time we needed to discuss. We never felt rushed. He made us a very solid and reasonable offer. The whole transaction was quick and hassel-free. The follow up with the rest of his team was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and very competent. I highly recommend Enlight Homebuyers ... they saved us!!

After dealing with a difficult market to sell my home, and after being in a situation with 2 mortgage payments I needed to move my house pronto. We sat down with Walter and explained our situation, and he was able to show us not just one price, but a variety of options that work out. In the end, we decided to work with them on a creative seller financing plan that solved our 2 payment issue, and also created a win-win for us to be able to move forward.

I would recommend working with Enlight.

My father had passed away and my sisters and I were deciding the best and easiest way to sell his house, as we all lived in different states, none being the state my fathers home was located (Utah).
I was given Walter’s number by a friend of mine who also lived in Utah. I also contacted a real estate agent, as well as 2 other companies that “flip” homes as we needed to get all options available to us.
We went with Walter/Enlight Homebuyers, and have never been more relieved. We received the same price for the home that the real estate agent had said we could get for it, but we didn’t have to have everything out of the home or clean the home to get it in “ready to sale” condition. The process was easy from beginning to end and we have never been more thankful!
I would highly recommend them!

They were quick, let me pick my closing date, and I did not need to clean up the place at all. That saved me a lot of headaches in trying to move for a new job. Their team of people communicated well and were responsive to my inquiries.

I applied online with this company because my wife and I were looking into getting out of our house and into something smaller. I didn't have a lot of time to clean and up keep the house. The company wanted us to close within a month which was good. Closing on another house took longer than we thought it would and when we asked for a little more time to move out, I was never given a yes or no on if we could have another week to move out so we tried our best to move out that weekend. I also wasn't sure who to call on some issues we needed help with since we had three or four people contacting us to sell our home with this company. All in all, we received the money we asked for but it was a bit of a hassle. Still waiting on some paperwork like the closing costs paperwork which we were told would be e-mailed/mailed to us. I have called two people for the paperwork and hope we are able to get a copy it. This company could use a bit of help like taking the time to talk to one another to make the selling of a home easier. We shouldn't be the middle man. Since I wrote a review we are receiving the help with the issues we are having.

We had a house in Kearns that we had been renting which was getting to be more and more of a hassle. We were talking about selling it for a while and our daughter gave us a card that she had received in the mail from Tyler about buying houses. We contacted him and got the house sold with little hassle. We were pleased with the company and its treatment of us so when I had to sell my moms house we went with the same company. They were very helpful and fair. We are repeat customers.

I moved out of the house 10 years ago and held onto it thinking one of my children might move in and live in their own house. Rented out a few times and each time was a HUGE headache and final had enough of lousy renters that have no respect for others property. I looked into a Real Estate but all I kept hearing was fee after fee after fee and LOTS of paperwork.
I kept getting these cards and always chucked those in the trash can thinking “who in the heck falls for these scammers”. Then I started to research some of the companies’ cards I was receiving and came across Walter from Enlight Homebuyers (Treehouse Investments). We spoke a few times on the phone, still waiting for the flash and mirrors and a crazy amount of fees…never happened. Met Walter; we walked the property talking about the house and what I believed it needed and after an hour or so we were talking offers for the house with NO FEES!
He made me an offer I couldn’t refuse; within a few days the Enlight office contacted me and the ladies I was working with were great at answering my questions (and I had A LOT) and in a few weeks we closed.
Received my money that night, no hassle, no fees no problems and now I’m rid of the stress of keeping up another house on the other side of town, what a stress reliever and planning a big family vacation.

Wow! Where do I begin with this company? I lost my uncle who I was fortunate enough to take care of and share precious times with for many years in January. He had taken over my grandparents’ home after they had passed away. My uncle became my dad, when my dad past away 30 years ago. The situation was unique and very emotional. The home was built by my grandparents and was full of memorabilia from many generations. I spent months sorting out the heritage in the house. Throughout his stay in the home. He became ill and was forced retire. Due to him becoming disabled, the finances on the house were in shambles. Although there was family and friends that could have helped with the situation they chose not to. Most stood back and waited for the hammer to drop. I had a buyer drop out last minute. The house was going up for auction in a few days. As a last effort to preserve my uncles integrity and name. I reached out to Enlight home buyers. Not knowing if we had enough time. That’s when I meet Walter. What an honest and compassionate man. We meet on a Friday, after one walk through. Walter gave me a few options. He assured me that we could make it work. We made an agreement. Walters’s team started to work on the agreement on Monday. We even ran into a few things that held up the process. His team never gave up. He pushed on and completed everything to secure the house within 24 hours! His assistant Jackie guided me every step of the way. For the first time in a long time. I didn’t feel alone in the battle. This company has a true compassion you don’t find any more. When they say they can help you. They follow through. They took care of everything. I cannot say enough about the professionalism that they have, as well as when my family was faced with the devastation of the loss of a family member. They took care of business quickly, efficiently, and honestly. But never last the compassion. They kept me in the loop every step of the way. I would recommend this team hands down to anyone.

My husband had passed away and I am not physically able to stay by myself. Getting over the shock was hard enough. But even thinking about what it would require to sell the house made me sick. I remember what had to be done when we bought the house in 1986. I had to move to another state to live with my daughter, so this made it even harder. We could only go to my home to "clean it out" every 2 to 3 weeks because my daughter and her husband have a business and cannot take off during the week. Week-ends was all the time we had. It is a three and one half hour drive one way between my home and theirs. My mail had to be forwarded. One day I got a form letter in the mail that said "Let us buy your house" and we do all the paperwork and you don't have to clean it or get rid of trash or anything in the house. We will take care of it. It will be a cash deal. This is just what I needed. I called and made an appointment and was told that Walter S would be coming to talk with me. When he arrived, we were really impressed with his friendliness. He was pleasant to work with and nothing was rushed. He answered every question in a way that we fully understood the process. We decided to proceed and the rest is history. Everything is closed, I have received my money and I am pleased with my decision. I would recommend to anyone that is selling their home to use Enlight Home Buyers. It has been a pleasure to work with Walter and the company to make this process easier.

My father Robert and I needed to sell ours house fast and easy and Enlight homebuyer made that happen. We where very pleased on the whole process. We came in contact with Enlight homebuyer threw a flyer in the mail. Our first impressions was Walter the man that convinced us to go with them was very nice, polite, and fast communicater and answer every question we had. Very pleased Walter helped us understand the process.
The End result went pretty smooth, got the money right away and was able to leave all the unnecessary object in our old house. Which was amazing and sooooo helpful!
We have now move to our new house, thanks to Enlight homebuyer and we could not be more happier. We definitely recommend Enlight homebuyers to anyone who needs to sale their home fast or who doesnt have time to put extra money to fix there home up.

My wife and I had a single family home that we rented for almost 10 years. We both retired and were ready to stop being landlords. We had received in the mail postcards from several home buyers and recently contacted three of them. Two of those companies were difficult to deal with but our experience with Enlight was much more favorable. Because our renters were not the best homemakers the house needed a complete remodel which I was no longer prepared to do. But it was not a problem with Enlight. They gave us an offer that I wanted and the closing was quick and easy with no hidden late surprises. We have been very pleased with all the people at Enlight and I would recommend them to anyone.

I have reached out to this company several times to remove me from the mailing list. I was ensured this would happen and I am still receiving these requests to purchase my deceased fathers home. This company along with its affiliates preys on the deceased families to try and buy the homes. It is not only rude the way they speak to you when they are not getting a deal, they will continue to harass you.

It us unethical to continue harassing the deceased family to take advantage of those situations. They need to take cease continued contact after a request and remove you from the mailing list.

Better yet, quit taking advantage of mourning families.

I knew I wanted to sell my property. Before I was even ready, Mr. B contacted me and ask if he could show it to some potential clients. Even though the property was not in the very best of shape, Enlight Homebuyers and their clients were very accommodating to my needs. The sale went through very smoothly and I was very pleased with my interactions with the staff and buyer. I would not hesitate to recommend your company to anyone that is wanting to sell a home

The experience dealing with these people was very professional and up front from the first meeting to the closing of the sale

I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to sell their property in a timely matter and receive a fair price for it

Keypoint Solutions are really an amazing company to work with. They handled things in a timely manner. Bought my house and was able to hold up there end of the deal on the whole agreement we had together. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you again for your help.

Hello, My husband and I purchased our first home from Treehouse Investments LLC, in Indianapolis, IN through their local contractor - Luke W. We were so excited to be the winning offer and move into our first home. Upon inspection, we had several issues that we requested to be addressed. We were pleasantly surprised by the response from the seller to fix almost all of the issues listed as they were major health/safety issues. One specific issue involved plumbing/sump pump in the basement and traps under sinks. These issues were "fixed" by the seller and we received an invoice from Center State Homes LLC listing the repairs and prices. Unfortunately, after living in our house for less than a month, we started to notice major plumbing issues, including the sump pump going out (which was just installed) and it caused our basement to flood. We called Benjamin Franklin plumbing immediately to get someone out to assist with the sump pump. Upon review of the sump pump they found that the newly installed sump pump was too large for the pit causing it to turn on and off several times which in turned caused it to burn out really quick. The power cords were also too long and laying over the float which also made the pit fill up to the very top before it would actually kick on.

Below is a complete list of the plumbing evaluation:

4/3/2018 - Initial visit when basement flooded by Nick

Benjamin Franklin is not responsible for the existing conditions of the plumbing system. The pump in the pit located in the basement is a sewage pump with a 2”
discharge. Previous contractor reduced the discharge down to 1-1/2”. Pump also has no weep hole. Per code the line should not be reduced. For the float switch
to turn on the water level reaches to the top of the pit therefore filling the incoming drain lines. The float needs to trigger on lower in the pit. The discharge line also
appears to not have been glued in places. Need to have *** W return to quote out the needed work for the pump pit.
*** to return on 04/04/2018, 8-10, to quote for necessary work.
Send paper copy of invoice

I understand that some of these issues may not have been known to the seller, however, the plumbing issues that were "fixed" by the sellers contractor were fixed incorrectly which caused our basement to flood after living at our new house for less than a month. This is a very expensive fix and was quite the surprise. We have been in contact with our Realtor who advised he has passed along the information to the Listing Agent/Seller, but we have yet to hear anything in return. I think it would be fair if they could meet us in the middle for the cost of the repairs. For future work, I would highly reconsider your current plumbing contractor so that other buyers do not have to deal with these same issues.

Honestly, we should have had the inspector return to check the work done by the contractor. This was a lesson learned the hard way as we trusted the seller. The rest of the house was beautifully renovated and we have received several compliments on the refinished hardwood floor, kitchen cabinets, back splash, and fireplace. They were also kind to provide pictures of several of the other issues that were addressed. We trusted that they had fixed all issues properly and got the plumbing/electrical work up to code.

Thank you for your time

My name is Jason M. I’ve been trying to reach you but I keep missing you because you leave by 4 pmduring most days and left early on Friday. The customer Mrs. *** wants to remove her complaint and has told us she’s been trying to reach you to figure out how she can do that.

Customer Response • May 10, 2018

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I have spoken to Luke and it appears that there was a communication disconnect between him and the listing agent. Luke and his partners have been working with us to come to a resolution that we have all agreed upon. We will have the necessary plumbing work done by our own plumber and provide an itemized invoice to Luke and his partners in which they have agreed to pay for the items discussed.

Sincerely
