Treehouse Investments Reviews (%countItem)

I decided to sell my home cause I have a growing family and needed a bigger home. I first came in contact with yall from searching the internet submitted my info and right away got a call back which I was very impressed with the response time and meeting with your team was a great experience very friendly. Working with the team I was glad I did yall worked with me with the time I needed looking for a house and was very understanding on the time we needed to move out which other companies wouldnt have been.I would highly recommend your team which I told my cousin about yall.

Thanks to a snowball of debt brought on by medical and other reasons the house payments fell behind. It became a serious problem, one we could not save. At the same time I was going through a serious divorce with the kids and I looking for a fresh start. We were able to relocate to Salt Lake but could not do anything with the house. The home was in need of serious repair. Treehouse Investments contacted me to buy the house. They worked hard to help me sell it. Tyler, Austin, Susan and the gang even rushed at the last minute, using their own time to save the house before the bank could sell it. A last minute to the wire dave where Austin had to run to the bank and plea for them to halt the sale. All that was missing as a dramatic soundtrack. They were more than fair to us and it was a wonderful experience! Thank you guys!

my husbands mom was having a difficult time keeping her home so we decided we wanted to sell our home and move into hers to help her out financially. I started looking online for ways we could sell our home by owner and when I typed that into google this website popped up we buy your Utah home for cash fast so I clicked on it and started reading all the reviews I watched the videos of testimonies as well as videos of advertising, I showed my husband and me and him decided to give it a try and make an appointment with keypoint solutions. The very next day they had Tyler come out to the property he looked around the house made a few notes and he kept us in the loop asking us questions about the house and telling us what they might do to it in the renovations I felt like he really knew what he was doing he was very respectful and very nice, at the end we all sat down and started talking numbers the were very reasonable in accepting what we wanted for the house and we came to a very reasonable number our home still had so much work that needed to be done to it so we were so happy to come out with some of our equity. They let us stay in the residence so we could get all of our stuff situated and move the closing process was amazing honestly the whole thing was so easy me and my husband kept worrying it was to good to be true but here we are today we sold our first home and everything went the way Tyler first said it would. I would definitely recommend them again it was the easiest way for us to sell our home thank you to everyone who helped us Susan and Jackie from the office were amazing as well!

I would like to tell you about our experience with Keypoint Solutions. My husband had been battling with cancer since 2010, he is in remission now but going through immunotherapy. We didn't have the money to keep up on the maintenance of the house. We were desperately in need of a roof and other repairs but couldn't fix up the house to sell it.
I started searching the internet for other options. I came across Keypoint Solutions Web page and called them, they came out the next day. Our options and the process was explained and it was on our timeline.
During the whole process they communicated with us and made sure that we were comfortable in the process.
All of our stress had been lifted and we could see the light at the end of the tunnel. We can now focus on my husbands health.
We well definitely recommend KeypointSolutions to help others with their hard situations.

We had an good experience, with this company . I believe that both side of the deal were able to have a fair deal.

I worked with Keypoint Solutions (Treehouse LLC) to sell my home. They were amazing! My home was not in the condition to be sold to just anyone, but they understood and saw the value in my home anyways. They were supportive and kind, and very willing to work with me. I had a great experience working with them and would gladly suggest them to anyone who needs to sell a property.

We purchased a home from this company on April 13, 2017. On March 10, 2017, Treehouse Investments agreed to fix items my husband and I requested by signing the Real Estate Purchase Repair Addendum (see attachment). We requested electrical items were fixed by a licensed electrician; the furnace and cooling system were cleaned, evaluated, and serviced by a licensed HVAC; and the water heater, and pan replacement, as well as the water pressure adjustment was completed by a licensed plumber. On March 30, 2017, less than a week from closing, the sellers provided us a statement from a licensed Handyman who conducted all of the above work (therefore, pretending to be a licensed plumber, electrician, and HVAC, even though the individual, by law, agrees to the following when applying for a license through the state:

a) A person engaged in the alteration, repair, remodeling, or addition to or improvement of
any building with a contracted or agreed value of less than $1,000, including both labor
and materials, and including changes or additions to the contracted or agreed upon work;
b) Notwithstanding Subsection (8) (a):
(i) work in the plumbing and electrical trades shall be performed by a licensed
electrician or plumber except as otherwise provided in this section; and
(ii) installation, repair, or replacement of a residential or commercial gas
appliance or a combustion system must be performed by a person who has
received certification under Subsection 305 (l) (h) (i);
NOTE: If you are doing work above the $1000 limit, you are required to file an
“AFFIRMATION OF EXEMPTION” form with the Department of Occupational and
Professional Licensing (DOPL). This will allow you to do work up to $3000, including labor
and materials, and verifies that the contractor has liability insurance and workers compensation
insurance.

On March 31, 2017, my husband and I went to inspect the property with our Realtor and Inspector. There were multiple things which were not completed on the repair addendum, in addition to new damage on the house. My husband and I were eager to close on the home, but requested the sellers (Treehouse Investments) performed per contract. While at the home, Duke B, the listing agent for Treehouse, sent our Real Estate Agent a forged invoice for a gentleman who pretended to be an Electrician, but could not be found on the DOPL site.

A licensed Electrician finally came out to the property two days before closing to inspect the items listed on the repair addendum; however, we have still yet to receive verification, which was promised but never provided, of licensed professionals completing the HVAC and plumbing issues.

Upon moving into our new home (which was never cleaned before we moved in...there were asbestos particles from the hot tub in which the sellers removed, after signing the initial sales contract, scattered throughout the house, and additional dirt and dust everywhere), we have encountered numerous additional issues (both big and small).

Upon checking and properly adjusting our water pressure with a PSI meter (we asked the sellers to hire a licensed plumber to complete this work originally, as the water pressure was above normal range, and their Handyman adjusted it below normal range, as he was clearly not qualified to do this work), we noticed there is a small leak in the water shut off location.

Last night we attempted to wash our first load of laundry since we moved, and the 220 outlet for the dryer is not getting any power to the outlet at all (which is conveniently the same voltage wiring for a item we asked to be repaired on the repair addendum). In our repair addendum, we requested the high voltage wiring hanging out of the ceiling was properly wired and installed to the proper outlet box.

This evening, we attempted to operate the dishwasher for the first time. I spent an hour on the phone with Samsung only to discover, the dishwasher was not installed correctly, and has a leakage error.

As a result of the above listed items, we have not been able to complete the basic necessities of washing dishes and doing laundry.

Some of the smaller issues include poor installation of towel racks (one was hanging halfway off the wall and completely fell off without even putting a towel on it), door knobs and door installation (two doors won't shut as they were hung incorrectly, and our master bedroom doorknob does not work), sloppy measuring and placement of the flooring (gaping holes between flooring and baseboards), laundry room flooring pealing back from concrete base (as a result of the water heater pan replacement), and the list of items goes on from there.

Treehouse Investments Response

To Whom It May Concern:

We are very sorry to hear about the issues you have had with buying this home. We personally do not do the work on the home, but we hire contractors to do the work. The contractor that was hired to work on this home, was a new contractor that we had never used before. All of the issues that you described are a result from what this contractor did and told us he did. The invoices were never forged, which is a very serious charge that has been mentioned. Those invoices were submitted by that contractor and were paid by our company in full faith that they were completed as stated. Our company has been just as damaged by this contractor as you have, and we have since hired other individual licensed contractors to fix the issues you've mentioned and we have gone above and beyond what we are contractually obligated to do, in order to make things right for you.

It's our goal to do the best and be the best at what we do. We have bought and sold hundreds and hundreds of homes and this a very rare exception to how people feel after working with us. We are addressing these issues internally and we will make the necessary changes so that these kinds of things don't happen again.

Thank you.

Horrible company to work with. We were ready to sign a contract with another company when they came in with a last minute offer. Spent 6 days showing them the property and coming to an agreement. Signed a purchase contract and the next day they canceled it. They need to do their research before making false promises. Will never do business with them.
