We agreed to refund the customer $to cover the costs of hiring a handyman to reinstall the door and we zeroed out the customer's remaining balanceThe customer's requests should all be taken care of

We are addressing the customer's concerns through our Legal DepartmentThe customer can expect to see correspondence to him and with the AZ Registrar of Contractors, who he has been in contact with, as wellAt this time, we cannot provide an installation date because we are unable to obtain a building permit until certain criteria is met on the customer's site

We reached out to the customer and had a service appointment for Thursday, September 29thDue to a conflict, the customer had to reschedule for Friday, October 7thWe have full confidence we will resolve the issues on the scheduled service date

Our GM has reached out to the customer and hopes to get more detailsHe will then be able to assess the situation better in order to take care of the customer's needs

I am rejecting this response because: I will wait to see the outcome of the claim submitted to their insurer I am happy that they are submitting the claim but still need to wait for the outcomeI don't like the fact that they don't believe they did the damageOur gate and home are STILL under warranty from our builders! If it was broken prior to them coming over, we would have had the builder fix it and it would not have cost us a dime!

No consumer should have to plead to have work done that should have been completed in the first placeTheir questionable employee who opted not to install felt with the roofing shingles is very suspectGiven there were three employees building this shed I place blame on all three; not just the one employee who they claim was fired
Tuff Shed never accepted blame for their errorsAnd only responded to my resolution after I filed this complaint with the Revdex.com
The manager made a promise to discuss the resolution after the installAfter the install I inquired about the resolution only to be told that I had to wait until they came out again and actually finished the shed before he would discuss
These types of business practices leave the consumer alienatedMissing an appointment, not completing a build, not installing required items and not keeping your word is very deceitful
Consumers should be aware of this incident
Tuff Shed did finally accept my resolution but they could have done so weeks ago without the need for me to file a complaint here

I am rejecting this response because:GM did indeed contact me on Nov29th but I informed him that since this issue is headed towards an administrative hearing with the AZ Registrar of Contractors, I will need all communication with Tuff Shed via email so as to have a written recordGM told me he would have an email to me by the end of the day---he ONCE AGAIN did not meet his timeline to respondI wish to leave this complaint open until which time Tuff Shed meets all obligationIf Tuff Shed does not, Revdex.com and AZ ROC is only the beginning of actions that I will take, there are MANY avenues

We did have scheduling issues because of a break down with a truck and with the weatherOnce the team showed up with the building, the area did not allow for motor vehicles to access itOur team went ahead and still tried to get it installed
for the customer but it could not be done, resulting in the damaged buildingOur GM offered to take $off a new building to make up for the delay and not being able to get the building inThe customer did not want to accept this offer so the customer was refunded the total amount paid on December 23rd

There has been a change in leadership at this location this case has been escalated on our endThe customer will be hearing from us in the near future

the explanation given by the Tuff Shed crew is not percent correct personnel from Tuff shed were here on the fifth, from the time the got here until they left they made excuses about distance of the shed from the fence to the patio I in instructed them to place the shed feet from the back of the fence and feet to the right of the fence all the did was complain about the distance I had the feeling that they did not want to be there let alone move the shed from the time they arrived until the left they made excuses I told them I would contact the city my self about placement,told them I would let them know, and they departed my property.the above statement is true to the best of my knowledgeif you feel you need to close this case do so this is my last reply, I thank you for your time

We have clarified with the Revdex.com that the building was placed where our crew was told by the homeowner that was present and that the building is still under warranty, but that does not include moving the buildingWe cannot take responsibility and cover the costs for moving the building again after placing the building where we were told by the homeowner

We bought a 16xtwo-story Tuff Shed with a credit card in AprilIt was site-built on May 16/17, We were told that the wrong lumber was sent for the eaves and the trim workThey asked me to sign stating that the building had been completed and they PROMISED that they would be back within two weeks to complete the finishingThey never returnedI have contacted Nate at Tuff Shed and sent him pictures of the uncompleted work and he has told me that he would get right on itI never heard back from himI contacted the parent company via Facebook to let them know we needed help with the finishing of our buildingThey responded that they would contact the person responsible and we have never heard from anyone yetWe expected Tuff Shed to be a reputable company, that has not been the caseWe were going to buy more sheds from them for our property but we will find someone else that really wants our business

Our GM said we will leave the building as is and modify the opening of the doorway to accommodate the customer's request of a 7' clearanceOur salesperson will work with the customer to get the order placed

Contacted customer and discussed concerns. We addressed the issues and made arraignments to correctI will follin days

The local general manager has contacted the customer in an effort to resolve this matter.

We have agreed to refund the customer $3,000 for materials used and the customer's labor. Currently we are are working with the customer to schedule a contractor to fix the missing shingles. This customer has agreed to this resolution.
