the consolidation. The time the process takes is all based on the Department of Education and the current servicers cooperation.  The client is in the final stages of the consolidation but did not want to proceed so the account has been closed. If you need further information please contact us.

If you read the agreement signed by the client and UAG it clearly states that UAG charges a service fee and non of the fee go toward the Student Loan Payment with the Servicer.  The client is responsible for the Student Loan Payment once UAG gets the client in the repayment program with the consolidation process. The agreements also state that UAG does not advise anyone to miss a payment to the student loan servicer. should have told the client we need 2 most recent pay stubs to apply for the renewal program. The client said she was not aware they were needed. The client is going to email the pay stubs to [redacted] to complete the process for the client. As well the client is going to mail her PSLF form in order for us to apply for her public service forgiveness. The client has [redacted] direct line in case she has any questions moving forward to avoid miss communication or frustration on the clients end. This clients account has been closed and UAG is no longer providing a service. This client singed a limited power of attorney allowing UAG to assist her with the consolation process. This client is upset as UAG has not received income/proof of disability. We figured out the issue was the USPS. The following message was received by the client when the mail was returned. On April 5, 2017, 2:22 pm tracking was updated to Undeliverable as Addressed IRVINE, CA 92606. The address was correct so not sure why it was returned.the client emailed pay stubs to our processing team but the picture is not clear. She is now going to resend the pay stubs via email. We will confirm when received to finish the process.

UAG has done nothing wrong and this client is acting irrational. I was going to refund all payments since renewal which was $150 but the client already revoked the charged plus another revoke of $300.40 dollars in June. She reversed a total of $450.40. UAG has followed its contract and done as promised. This client refuses to listen and is very rude and dis respectful. There will be no more contact between UAG and the client as UAG will not be spoken to in the manner this client has selected. If you need any further information please let us know.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I feel this response does not resolve my complaint as United Advisor Group had two responsibilities. One was to assist in consolidating the loans and two was to act as a fiduciary and pay my student loans. After 10 months of paying for their services they did not fulfill either responsibility. After the consolidation was not completed I was never contacted and after 10 months they made no payments towards my loans. They simply held my money in an account while my student loans accrued interest. They feel they deserve to keep $455 worth of fees for what? They did absolutely nothing for me. This place is not a company they are a bunch of crooks that steal money from people with student loans. The reason I cancelled my services with them was because they stole $455 and left me with no other choice.

I recently follow up on what's going on with United Advisors Group. They were able to get my payment down to almost 50% less than what it was with Navient alone and now they are working on getting me into a program where the remainder would be forgiven after 10 years in a low retention job. They promised a lower payment but I still can't complain at the reduction they were able to get me. They have been helpful but not in the exact way they said they would be. Basically, it sounds like I'm paying them $40 a month to take care of things I could do on my own, but I find stressful and confusing. I'm undecided about whether or not its worth it so far. I'm going to stay enrolled in the program for a few more months to see how it goes.

In regards as to why it "took a very long time" to send my income verification, UAG has horrible customer service. I would call day after day, only to get someone's "voicemail" and when I would leave a message no one would return my call. As you have read in other Revdex.com complaints regarding this company, you will see that as true. I refuse to accept this response from UAG because they failed to acknowledge that they didn't inform me that they had applied to [redacted] Department of Education Loan Servicing on my behalf. They also failed to provide [redacted] with MY home address of phone number. Instead, they listed my address as [redacted] AVE STE [redacted] I[redacted] CA
[redacted] with the phone number of 760-[redacted].The
address belongs to UAG and the phone number came up as the Federal Student Loan
Debt Relief Hotline. UAG filed
for forbearance with [redacted] on November 27, 2014. They created an account and
password with [redacted] which didn't contain my personal email account or phone
number so I couldn’t get any correspondence. [redacted] has been emailing the
email account [redacted]@unitedadvisorsgroup.com since November
2014 concerning account changes, payment plans, past due statements, and
delinquency notices; and UAG never forwarded that information to me. When I
tried to check my UAG email account, all emails had been deleted. "[redacted]" from UAG stated the emails were there and I needed to allow them to load which could take up to five minutes; however, I sat for over ten minutes for the browser to load which leads me to believe that the emails were either deleted or could only be seen on UAG's end. UAG eventually changed the address to my home address in May 2015, but quested all correspondence be done by email to the [redacted]@unitedadvisorsgroup.com account. I called
UAG on November 17, 2015 and n[redacted]r got an answer. I called the many numbers
they have listed with no answer. I [redacted]n called the number and the extension to
[redacted] who had assisted me in the past only to find that her extension
now belonged to “[redacted]”. I left a message only to have it go unanswered. I
also sent an email to Julia stating that I was filing a complaint with the Revdex.com
as well as my State Attorney General, only to receive a “Failure Notice” which
means the email was invalid or no longer active. As stated before, I paid this company to
consolidate my loans in place them in forbearance, only for them to apply to
switch my account to another Department of Education Loan Servicing company. I
could have done all of this myself. My personal Attorney along with my State Attorney General have been contacted regarding this matter.

UAG spoke with the client and has refunded the client $289 dollars via ACH which takes 3-6 days depending on the clients bank. United Advisors Group LLC

In the agreements it clearly states the service provided by UAG. UAG is a document prep company. The client could have 
70, 101); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1em; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">done the program placement on your own for free (stated in the agreements), or hire UAG to do it for you. Just
as you can do your taxes on your own or hire an accountant to assist you.
The complaints you were reading are for from clients that did not read their agreements and wanted UAG to do their consolidation and program placement for free. We wish we could run a company with no cost and not charge a dime
but that is not realistic. UAG has closed out the clients account. Please let me know if you have any questions at this time.

This client account was closed with a refunded. She has FFEL consolidated loans with ACS and doesn't qualify for Public Service Loan...

Forgiveness. UAG has been trying to contact this client back and forth since March. The agreements clearly have a fair cancellation and refund policy to protect clients that don't qualify. There is no reason for this Revdex.com complaint as UAG closed the account and refunded the money paid for the service. She has had plenty of opportunity to respond to an email or a phone call over the last couple month and this complaint is uncalled for.

is taking. Unfortunately United Advisors Group has no control of the time it takes for the [redacted] and the servicer to complete the consolidation. United Advisors Group ensure it is submitted correctly and monitor the process but cant speed up the process. This client has decided not to continue even though United Advisors Group has done what was processed and is on track. This client is out of the 14 day full refund policy but United Advisors Group is going to refund $2770.67 from the clients trust account and $665.56 in service fees providing a full refund.

This client has decided to move forward with UAG. Loans were consolidated on 1/23/2015. This client already made a Fed Loan Servicing account. For some reason the program placement was submitted but is still pending and has not gone through. UAG is re submitting and will make sure it goes through on...
