This complaint has been settled.  I may not day more than that. In order to get my car I had to sign a non disclosure agreement.

We are providing the requested resolution and have explained the terms and conditions of her GAP Waiver for clarification.

The company did not repossess the vehicle from the consumer. Additionally, the company does not receive any portion of a down payment paid to a dealership. All questions concerning the vehicle and down payment need to be directed to the selling dealership.

I asked for this to be put in writing given the fact that I was told before this amount and then was told it was going to be more. [redacted] refused to put this in writing for me. I later received an email with the offer in writing stating it was only valid for that day - this email was received at 205pm. In other words I had 3 hours to make this happen. I had already borrowed the money before and returned it. Now I had 3 hours to find it again - while at work and with no vehicle. All of this after I have already paid $9.22 less than the amount on the original contract.Regards,[redacted]

I'm not saying I'm not satisfied with what you have done but  just wondering if I will get my down payment back and If I can or will be able to get my belongings out of that car because I'm still not sure what went wrong

We have mailed the consumer a letter explaining her retail installment contract with a detailed payment history.

There was no resolution made. They called and said they were sending a prorated amount and I did not agree to it. $261.00. I dont know what theu meant by prorated or where they got the amount from. The guy just said that they told him to call and tell me that. So no its not resolved from my side and I need what I was promised.

We wanted to
formally apologize for the miscommunication in connection with your efforts to
pay the Account current. In reviewing the Account, a representative on March
18, 2016 previously apologized for the misunderstanding and offered to waive
the late charges assessed to date, which was $24.81. UACC has honored that
offer and waived the late charges on the Account.
Please note that
any unpaid fees due would not adversely affect your payment history on your
credit report. Additionally, late charges are not assessed on unpaid fees. Late
charges are assessed when a scheduled monthly installment is not paid within 10
days of its due date. Below is a revised billing summary to reflect a zero late
charge balance as of the date of this letter:
