Review: This company is trying to bill me twice for one vehicle. They are listing on my credit report two accounts [redacted] and [redacted].

They are refusing to remove one of the accounts. I only have one account and one vehicle that was purchased. They are reporting two accounts with the exact same debt.Desired Settlement: To only report one account and completely remove the other. I owe them for one vehicle, not two.

Review: I financed a car in AZ with a Annual rate of 24, during the term of the loan I got sick and informed the company my payment would be late. They offered me an extension, with no penalty, no fees and the payment would be placed to the end of the loan term. At the end of the term I called regarding the title and was informed that I owed a balloon payment of $1900. I asked why and was told it was the extension. I informed them that the payments were added to the end of the loan and was told they don't do that and if I wanted my title and avoid neg credit reports have to pay what they say. I brought it to their attention that original payoff was December and was moved to May. I then asked to receive an itemization of all charges and fees and was sent a copy of my payment history. I asked via phone and email for an itemization over four times. After speaking with the third account manager (each telling me something different on the charges and it was now $1500 and I had to pay it or they'll repossess the vehicle) I am then told that my annual rate is compounded daily (my loan docs state 24 AR and no where about it being compounded daily) I speak to another account specialist and I'm sent a formula to figure out the charges and per their daily formula the charges comes to $1156. I'm called by yet another specialist and inform him of the differences in what they say I owe and what totaled out with the formula provided and again about the extension docs that stated no charges but payment put at end of term and the contract states 24 AR and nothing g about it being compounded daily and there is nothing anywhere about a balloon payment. I was told to fax what I had to them and he'll get back to me. During the whole time I never stated I wouldn't pay I just want an itemization of charges and how they came up with the total they gave me. I also informed them that I could not do a balloon payment and am willing to do payments once the charges are validated (car was repo)Desired Settlement: I want the vehicle back (without charges of tow or storage fees) an itemization of extra charges (and justification of charges) at the contracted Annual percentage rate (should compound every January and not daily and if I owe be willing to work out a monthly payment arrangement. If not I want all negative credit reports cleared and account marked as paid and closed.

This complaint has been settled. I may not day more than that. In order to get my car I had to sign a non disclosure agreement.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

United auto credit has got to be the worse loan creditors ever . I've had my 2004 Honda Accord with them for over a year now going on two , I've always paid on time and when I was going to be late I would always call my account manager and set up an arrangement and then follow through with it to keep my account in good standing . The car since I've gotten it has had failed inspections , the check engine light comes on and off when it feels like it and I've had to pay for over 1000 worth of repairs so far , and now the cars in the shop because it's dead and after paying them for over a year for a car that was originally 8000 I put down 2500 and I was told last night that I still owe 6000 on the car which to me makes no sense because I've had the car for almost two years now and they told me that for the whole year I only paid 2000 and when I'm late the car collects interest on top of whatnot already paying . Went to Bank of America to try and refinance and the bank advisor said I was getting charged credit card APR on the car because it's way too high . After speaking to one of the account managers last night and explaining to her that I almost crashed on the highway when the car have out she had no care and was only concerned with me making a payment . When I told her I used the money to get the car towed to the shop and I wouldn't have anything until my next pay check , she asked for the mechanics name , phone number and where the shop is located so they can pick the car up . I wished I did better research on the car that I have because it's an 11 year old car with over 1000,000 miles on it , with a car value of 2000 and they want me to pay 11000 for it . DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM !

Review: Every month I mail in my payment for our vehicle and it takes about 2 weeks for them to process. I mailed in my November payment on November 10th, and on November 17th me and my husband decided to trade in this car for a new vehicle. When purchasing the new vehicle, the old one was paid off by where we bought our new one. Therefore, I figured the check that I sent it wouldn't have been cashed because if they were to look up my account information they would see that the car was completely paid off. December 17th, I noticed that they cashed my check for $240.70. I called them and asked them about this, they said they had no record that they cashed that check and that I needed to fax in my bank statement. I faxed in my bank statement only minutes later. The next day I called to check on the status of this, and they said that they received my statement and are reviewing it and will call me back. I never heard back from them and the holidays were coming up. After Christmas I called to check on the status, and they stated they have no idea what I am talking about. I had to RESEND my bank statement in and still to this day have not heard back from them. This is $240.70 that they took out of my account that should have NEVER been taken. The worst part is that this was taken RIGHT before Christmas, putting us behind so we couldn't have that extra money for the holidays. They are saying they never cashed my check, but my bank statement shows that that is a lie. I have been getting the run around and this is a good amount of money that shouldn't have been taken from me in the first place. Horrible customer service, and I am about to file a fraudulent complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $240.70 and I would like 18% interest added, as that is the interest was that we were paying on that car, and a $50 inconvenience fee. This has caused a huge inconvenience and instead of trying to resolve this, they are giving me the run around. I would like this overnighted to me if it is in check form. I have bills to pay and this money is putting me and my husband behind on my bills.

Review: Paid off truck financed with them on 2/12/2015. Was told I would have my title in 7 days. Have called on several occasions an no one can tell me where the heck is my title. I have sold the truck an the buyer wants his title. I called today 2/27/15 once again to ask where my title is an was told it went out on 2/25/15 by Fed Ex but no one can give me a tracking number. Once again, nobody knows what is going on. Not only that when I did have the truck I couldn't pay on line without being charged additional charges so I would always mail them a check. On the due date they were calling me twice a day asking where the payment was. They would continue until the payment had already been processed through my bank.Desired Settlement: Want answers, you should know what is going on. An everyone knows u can't ship out anything Fed Ex without a tracking number. They must think people are really stupid. I will never use this company again to finance anything!

Business

Response:

Review: On 12/19/14 I spoke with [redacted].

she advised me that I could pay my remainder pymnt November and she will grant me a deferment for December and January.

I processed the pymnt through Money-Gram.

Per FDCPA you are not suppose to tell a customer that you are going to do something and you do not. I called back today to follow up on deferment and was advised by [redacted] that she did not offer the deferment to me and I did not qualify for deferment. As of today my account is now 20 days past due.

My call was disconnected by [redacted] when I asked for a supervisor. I will be forwarding a complaint to the Attorney Generals Office as well as the Revdex.com because this is not the first time that this has happened.Desired Settlement: I request a written apology from the Management.

Collections representative will need to be coached.

I should be granted my deferment as I was told.

Review: United Auto Credit Corporation has been calling me non-stop more then 5 times a day. They are literally harrassing me and causing stress. I had discussed my situation with a gentleman over the phone on Friday, Oct 24th and made arrangements. I am still getting phone calls non-stop by other individuals even when I had informed them that I am not allowed phone calls at my work place or when I am at work from 8am to pm. Voice messages are left with no messages most of the time. I have a job which requires other people in my office so I can't be on my personal phone or answering personal phone calls. They are also calling my "references" informing them to relay a message and that I owe a debt that I need to pay. These are a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.Desired Settlement: I just want them to stop harassing me with phone calls and to put a stop on calling my listed references which are on file with them.

Review: I submitted a payment a payment to united auto credit directly through my bank bill pay in the amount of 50.00 and it was taken out on 5/23/14. united auto credit took another payment out on 5/27/14 in the amount of 65.00 with out me authorizing the payment. I called today and spoke with the account manager [redacted] who stated the account is setup on automatic withdrawal which I didn't authorize and he stated that he doesn't know how that was done. he is the only one that handles my account at that office to my understanding. when I spoke to him today he said that they could do a discount on my account I told him that I need the money to be put back into my account and he said that he would have to see if that could be done and he don't think that it could be I asked to talk to a supervisor or a manager and he refused to transfer me to one stating that no one was available on the floor for me to talk to, this is the second time that I have had this issue with this company taking out a payment that I didn't authorizeDesired Settlement: report united auto credit for unauthorized actions on bank account

Review: My vehicle was repossesed after I met and fulfilled the agreement UACC made with me. The Representative disconnects my call and I cannot reach anyone that will speak to me to resolve my issue except for the Reinstatement Dept., in which has stated numerous times that the notes regarding the agreement UACC made with me are in their computer system, I kept the agreement and "they" can't seem to figure out why the "Repo" company wrongfully picked up my car. They say "all" the Supervisors are gone for today (in which I have been trying to reach all day), and someone will call me tomorrow. Of coarse by that time the Repo Company will have charges outstanding I'm sure, If UACC holds me as a Consumer to an agreement, how do I get them to hold to the same agreement? All the arangements that I made and fulfilled with UACC should have been recorded, what can I do to hold them responsible?Desired Settlement: I would like my Vehicle returned so I can continue to fulfill my agreement with UACC, I would like it returned with any fees incurred at UACC expense due to my Vehicle being wrongfully repossesed.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Review: I have a vehicle financed through United Auto Credit. On January 17th, I contacted United Auto Credit. I was in the process of moving to Pennsylvania, and in order to transfer my license plates to PA, I needed to have the title sent to the DMV in PA. When I contacted United Auto Credit, I was treated extremely rudely and was hung up on multiple times. Since I never really got a straight answer from anyone, I decided to get Ohio temporary tags in the meantime so I could continue to drive my car. When I was able to talk to someone that knew something about the title to my car, I was informed that it would take about 2 weeks to get it mailed to PA. Again, I initiated this process on 1/17/14.Fast forward to 3/24/14. I am on my 3rd set of temporary tags because United Auto Credit did not send the title to the PA DMV. I had to call several times, each time either getting hung up on, told I'd receive a callback, or given a "supervisors" name that I could contact later. When I did call back and ask for said supervisor, I was told that person didn't exist or didn't work there. I was also told that my title would get sent when they "got to it."In order to get my title as soon as possible so I didn't have to keep driving back to Ohio, I had to ask a friend to take out a personal loan to help me payoff the full amount of my vehicle loan with United Auto Credit. Once the transaction cleared (3/26/14) I called and was told I would receive my title within 10 business days. Besides this terrible experience, this company would call me on my bill due date every month and harass me. They constantly hang up on people, give names of people that don't exist, and are extremely rude.Desired Settlement: I want United Auto Credit to reimburse me for the cost of 3 sets of Ohio temporary tags ($55.50), the transaction fees incurred while paying the vehicle loan off in full ($41.25), and to pay the new interest charges on the personal loan that was taken out to help me ($1000).If they had sent the title to the Pennsylvania DMV in a timely fashion, I would have been able to transfer my license plates to PA, continued to mail my car payment, and would not have incurred so many additional expenses.

Regards,

Review: I was a customer of United Auto Credit for 2 years. I had nothing but the worst experience ever with them. I never once, ever, spoke to a helpful person. They all harass you and treat you like a piece of dirt. I ran into financial difficulties and had someone tell me to clean out my car because they were coming to get it. They reported to my insurance company that I was in an accident (which I was but they screwed up the month, so the insurance company put me down for 2 accidents and it took over 7 months to clear up) and caused nothing but issues. After speaking to supervisor after supervisor, then manager... I was told if I clear up the loan and pay it off, they would make sure my credit report reflected it was never late and paid on time. I did just that. I paid off the loan, 2 years early. I was marked late on my credit report and was then harassed afterwards. The CS agent who was working asked for my new salesman's name where I traded the car in at, and said if they don't contact her she's send a repo man to the new dealership for my car. At the end of my relationship with United Auto Credit, they sent me a check for over-payment but did not follow through on their credit report updates.Desired Settlement: I would like United Auto credit to remove the 2 late marks on my credit report. (april 2012, jan 2013) I followed through with my end of the agreement with the supervisor or manager to pay the loan off early, and they did not follow through with their end saying they would update it as paid on time/never late. I tried to dispute it through the credit bureau but they keep giving me different answers.

Review: On June 2nd 2014 a vehicle payment , which was called and paid on May 28th threw their automated service, was taking out of checking account. United Auto Credit is stating that they never received it. After sending proof, email and faxed bank statements, 5 different times, United Auto Credit claims they cannot find it and continue to call and harass us on a daily basis as they still believe that we are missing May's payment. As of July 30th there has been no resolution.Desired Settlement: I would like United Auto Credit to restore our credit report to show that we have not been in breach of contract the last 3 months because of their carelessness. I would also like and written apology from them as well. I also feel that they should compensate us for the inconvenience of them using our Lo Jack and shutting off the vehicle and stranding us in a parking lot with our 3 children because of their mistake. We have held up our end of the contract and United Auto Credit has not.

Review: I received a letter from United Auto Credit on 10/14/15, in reference to a 2008 Colbalt that I purchased in 2013. The letter states that the bank sold the car for $900.00, and I am responsible for the remaining balance of 5,011.13. When purchased the car I've encountered numerous problems, from failed inspections which lead the car failing inspection and receiving a fraudulent inspection sticker, engine replacement, recalls. I've called the bank to demand an investigation of the car I purchased, however no one from the bank conducted an investigation. Despite the fact that the bank was aware for the numerous problems with the car. I lived up to my end of the deal between United Auto Credit, and the car dealer by paying my monthly car payments, insurance, and repairs. However the car wasn't drivable. It stayed in the shop and parked until the bank took it.Desired Settlement: I would like my credit cleared, loan forgiven, and refund of all payments made on the car. I'm a senior citizen who has cancer, and other medical conditions and on a fixed income. Based on what happened I feel that I have be taken advantage of. I would gladly appreciate if the Revdex.com can look into this matter.

Review: Back in 2012 I had my vehicle repossed and I made the payment to United Auto Credit Corporation to get my car back, they reported this to the Credit Bureau and the Repo will keep showing on there but they have not updated the credit companies letting them know that the account is still open and payments are being made regular via direct from my bank account. I have called and have asked them several times to please send the Credit reporting agencies a statement showing the account is up to date , they say they will do it but nothing gets done. We are trying to buy a home and this is affecting us and causing hardship. I would like to get this done but the majority of people who answer the phone are clueless, they always tell you that managers are in meeting but they will get someone to email you and it never happens. My account # [redacted]My monthly payment is 397.26payment is due on the 18th of each month and comes out of my account directly.Desired Settlement: I would like to them to send a letter to the Credit reporting agencies, all 3 and have them update my account to say that it is up to date and there are no arrears, the account is showing in collection status and it is not update to show what balance it left on the loan. It still shows I owe 10,000 which I do not I only owe 4042.73 as of jan 18th.I need this done so I can move forward and purchase my home.Thank you[redacted] A [redacted]

Regards,

Review: Well I purchased a vehicle and received financing thru united auto credit of Newport Beach CA . I had my car reposses from the company on 6/19 so I decided to call the company on 6/19 to find out they have repo the vehicle so I decided to pay the remaining past due balance on 6/24 for the total of 481.52 thru Money gram. I was told that the vehicle location was at a repo lot Done Rite Recovery Services, Inc. 3056 E 170th Street Lansing, Illinois 60438. On the same day tb6ey told me to call the repo lot and they should have my vehicle but the office was closed so I decided to call the repossesion lot the next day. When I finally got ahold of somebody they told me that they have send the car to auction without any notice what so ever and charged me $70 for holding my property. After talking to them they said the finance company have decided to send the car to the auction that is over 50 miles of my location. Now they auction company has charged me $185 for towing my car to there auction lot with any notice. But the finance company said that they was going to tack all repossesion fees and tows to my finance loan. Now I have to pay a person so much money to drive myself out to a auction lot and I really think that is a inconvenience to me and my family. I was wondering is there any laws or time frame for them to do any such action they have perform.Desired Settlement: A inconvenience fee for me and my family and a reimbursement fee for all the inconvenience. I don't think it's fare for me and my family to find out the hard way without any notice that my car was being auction off.

Review: On February 2nd,I attempted to make a post dated payment (by check) for my January car payment. I informed United Auto Credit not to withdraw money from my checking account as it was a new account and the money was on hold for 5-7 business days and that if they withdrew the money out before then, it would put me into overdraft. The money was taken out before then and I filed a claim with my banking institution. My bank loaned me the money that was taken as well as 2 refunded NSF fees. I am receiving phone calls from Unites Auto Credit stating that I still owe them for January's payment along with a returned check fee, but my money was NEVER returned to my account! I emailed a copy of my bank statement to them showing them they did not return any funds. I was also told that they do not have the money. My banking institution has proved that they did not receive the retuned money, but yet UAC can not do the same. It shows that the money was taken out of my account by United Auto Credit. I am also being told that I still owe January's payment $389.62 plus $15.00 returned check fee and that it will go against me and on my credit, even though they have received a payment and they have not returned that payment to my account. It is now March the 2nd and they have not resolved the issue or seem to be looking into it.Desired Settlement: Please assist them with resolving this matter urgently by locating January's payment and credit it to my account for January's payment. Please stop the collection phone calls and threats of adding negative marks on my credit.

Review: I traded in the car that I was financing thru united auto credit. I was called because I was late on the payment and at that time I told them that I traded in the car. The rep told me to get info from the car dealership and when they would pay It off. I called her back and told her in a day or so that was told to me. A day later I get a voicemail from one of there reps and sounded very rude. I tried to call back but of course they were closed. I think that they have the payoff check in the office but wait until the last min (like they have done before with payments I sent to them) so they get the interest charges.Desired Settlement: They need to stop contacting me I do not have the car its traded in

Review: To Whom It May Concern:

I have filed a complaint but I did not get a chance to put further information with my complaint. I am actually trying to put in a complaint with the dealership as well as with the loan payment people that work with the dealership. I spoke with a [redacted] about my situation and she informed me that I could send an email to provide additional information. I had original put a complaint in with my local Revdex.com and they informed me since the head quarter of the United Auto Credit is in CA that I would have to file a complaint with you. So this will be my second time putting in a complaint so hopefully someone will be able to help me.

Also the vehicle was financed threw the mentioned company United Auto Credit with an agreement of 0 errors and omissions threw Circle City Auto Exchange. The dealer advised me to tell the above business United Auto Credit that their was nothing wrong with the car and they made an agreement to have vehicle fixed. The finance company never verbally talked to me to confirm contract and once the contract came threw the mail on July 28, 2014, I contacted finance company to let them no that their was problems with the car. The contacted the dealer to be in compliance with the agreement. The car is yet to be fixed or contract cancelled.

At the signing of the contract, the sales rep [redacted] notified me that the truck can not be financed with the mechanical or omission issues and verbally stated that the issues would be scheduled and fixed with the service manager. After occupying the truck and other issues arose I returned the next day and informed [redacted] of the issues and the paperwork uploaded was generated. Since then the dealer has ben uncooperative and trying to past cost to me about the repairs and has yet provided to me the necessary paperwork to get truck registered. After further phone conversation with [redacted] I quote "I'm a salesperson I said things to sell the car." After receiving the paperwork in mail from United auto credit regarding contract and payment I notified the problems of truck and they notified the compliance department. After faxing uploaded document their department notified the dealer that they should be in compliance with contract with no issues with truck. I also filed a complaint with the Revdex.com against United Auto Credit for not properly confirming with the client of said contract and agreement and after being contacted and notified of issues with the truck not holding dealership accountable to be in compliance with contract.

Desired Resolution: Cancel contract or fix according to agreement/replace vehicle with same value that complies with agreement
