Review: On May 13, 2013, I accepted an offer from [redacted] (now Used Camera Buyer) for my electric [redacted] for $250. I packaged the instrument and shipped it and on May 20, 2013 received an e-mail downgrading the original quote from $250 to $237.50 and accepted the modified offer. I was told at this time it would take 6-8 weeks to receive payment. On July 22, 2013 I received an e-mail From "[redacted]." informing me that [redacted] who was handling the quote was no longer with the company and that he would be the new point person. On August 6, 2013, I e-mailed [redacted] to find out the status and he replied that he had a meeting with Accounting early the following week and would get back to me. This was when I noticed that his e-mail electronic signature had changed from [redacted] to Used Camera Buyer. Since this last correspondence, I have sent dozens of e-mails and left several voice mail messages because no one EVER answers the phone. There has been absolutely no response to my concerns or my requests for payment, now over due 2 months. It is now my assessment that they are holding my property illegally.Desired Settlement: I sent an e-mail and left voice mail messages on both the main number as well as [redacted] number that I would like to be paid immediately or have the guitar returned.

Review: UCB is not fulfilling their promise to pay me $955.27 for my camera equipment per quote #[redacted]. They received my [redacted] camera, [redacted] lens, and [redacted] lens on March 7th, 2013 (POD [redacted]). On March 18th I received an email from [redacted], a Used Camera Buyer employee, that my equipment passed inspection and they would be mailing me a check for $955.27 on April 29th.I have since emailed them twice to get a status and have received no commitment as to when they will send me a check. "[redacted]" responded stating she "is organizing accounts".With so many complaints against this company I believe the only way to get their attention is via another complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I want UCB to send me a check for $955.27 (that won't bounce) OR send my camera and 2 lenses back in the same condition in which they received them.

Regards,

On March 18th, 2013, [redacted] of [redacted] responded to my request for quote that my camera gear was received and that a check for $[redacted] would be mailed on April 29th.

Used Camera Buyer made off with 3 high end pieces of Canon equipment. Did not respond until I threatened action with the [redacted] Office for which I did. Equipment is gone and no money received. Stay clear!!!

Review: I sent an Instrument to this company when the company was named [redacted] they have avoided contact, listed a phony phone number [redacted], the website [redacted], and [redacted] are one in the same, from the location, to the phone number, the way the web page was set, all the way to the address [redacted]

My complaint is about the $300 I never received for the instrument I sent.Desired Settlement: I would really like to either get my instrument back or the $300 agreed upon.

Review: I accepted an offer from Used Camera Buyer for 3 items. 2 lenses and a flash. I sent them my items on March 5, 2013. As of May 28, 2013 I still have not received my funding. The company confirmed my email on March 18, 2013 that they had received my items. This also was the first time they told me my check would take six weeks for processing. I have emailed them several times since. Our last email was on May 24, 2013 and all they could tell me was they are waiting on accounting.Desired Settlement: I would like the payment that was agreed upon within our contract/quote to be mailed to me immediately. I would also like a tracking number to be provided.

Review: On February 22, 2013 I received an online quote for $477.38 ([redacted]) from Used Camera Buyer for my camera and 3 lenses. I sent them my equipment and on March 8 I received an e-mail stating that they received my items, but the new quote was $339. I was asked if I wanted them to return my equipment at no cost to me, or accept the quote. I accepted the quote and was told that it takes about 6 weeks to process and mail a check. It has been over 10 weeks and I have not received my check. Over the last 2 weeks, I have not only called (and had to leave messages since nobody answers the phone), but have e-mailed them (at their 'contact us' e-mail from their web site AND at the individual who e-mailed me with my quote) multiple times... and have yet to hear any response. I am still waiting to be paid for my equipment.Desired Settlement: I want to be paid $339 for my equipment.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. If the company does not perform as promised I can get back to you at: [email protected].

Thank you for your help. I believe involving the Revdex.com with this situation made the business acknowledge the issue and take action, which likely would have gone on and on otherwise.

Review: I sent them camera equipment in early February, 2013. I was told I would get payment in 6-8 weeks. It is now going on 4 months and I still do not have payment. They will not answer my emails, nor have they returned calls left on their answering machine.Desired Settlement: I want the check they promised me almost 4 months ago.

Review: On February 17, 2013 I received a quote from Used Camera Buyer to purchase my camera equipment for $196.00. I accepted the quote and mailed my equipment to Used Camera Buyer. Used Camera Buyer received my equipment on February 26, 2013. On March 7, 2013 I received an email from [redacted] confirming the receipt and acceptance of my camera equipment and that payment would be sent to me by April 15, 2013. On April 24, 2013, because I had not received payment for my equipment, I contact [redacted] at Used Camera Buyer inquiring about the status of payment. On April 25th I received an email from [redacted] at Used Camera Buyer stating that she was new to the company and requested time to review my issue. I contacted [redacted] at Used Camera Buyer via email on May 1, 2013 requesting a status. [redacted] responded on May 13, 2013 stating that check processing had fallen behind and she would update me with a new payment mailing date when she had it. I responded to [redacted]s May 13, 2013 email requesting that payment be made to me by May 20, 2013. If Used Camera Buyer was not able to issue payment by May 20, 2013 I requested that my camera equipment be returned. On May 21, 2013 [redacted] responded that payment for my equipment would be processed on May 27, 2013. Apparently Used Camera Buyer is open on Memorial Day. On June 4, 2013, having still not received payment for my equipment, I sent another request to Used Camera Buyer requesting confirmation that payment has been sent to me. As of today, 6/7/2013 I have not received a response nor have I received payment for my camera equipment. It has been over 14 weeks since Used Camera Buyer received my equipment and over 6 weeks since the first promised payment date has passed.Desired Settlement: I would like Used Camera Buyer to issue their promised payment of $196.00 immediately.

Review: I received a quote from UsedCameraBuyer.com for $632.00 on 14 Feb 13 for camera equipment I had sent them. Upon accepting the quote I was informed payout would take 6-8 weeks. On 16 April I sent another email to check the status. I was informed that it still hadn't processed. On 30 April I sent another email to check the status and was informed that the check was scheduled to mail out that very day. I waited well past the 5-7 days for mail delivery when I finally emailed them again on 10 May to see if the check had actually mailed. On 14 May I was informed that my payment had not been mailed and they would have to get an update from accounting.Desired Settlement: Immediate payment of the $632 that was quoted to me.

Review: I sent used camera lens for quote [redacted] for 531.63 that were confirmed delivered on 11/4/2013. I have sent the following follow-up requests for status on payment or return of my lens. email sent on 12/16/13 I wanted to check the status of the lens that I had shipped to you [redacted]. My confirmation says that they were delivered on Nov. 4, 2013 to [redacted] signed by [redacted]. It is almost 8 weeks from the delivery and I was checking to see if they had been accepted and, if so, when would I receive payment from you for them. Thank you for your time, [redacted] email sent on 1/13/14 Sending another email to follow up on the status of my lens that I sent to you that were delivered on Nov 4, 2013. Please advise me of your intentions. Sincerely, [redacted] upon researching on your website I have now become aware that there are numerous complaints with this company. What a shame, my deceased husband had dealt with them on a couple occasions with no issues. These lens belonged to him and I was hoping I could have obtained the same satisfactory service that he had received in the past.Desired Settlement: I would like the payment for my lens, however if this is not possible, I would like the return of my lens so that I might sell them elsewhere.

Regards,

Review: April 3rd I received a quote for my camera I intended to sell to usedcamerabuyers.com . In that email they stated "Once we receive your item(s), we will inspect them and mail payment to you within 5-7 business days." I then sent in my camera via [redacted] and on April 6th they received it. (I have proof of delivery). 5 weeks later when I had not heard back I emailed them and they responded "Your equipment passed our inspection process and your information has been forwarded to our accounting department. Your check will mail out this week." that was May 11th. It is now June 4th and I still haven't received the check. They claim it was sent and asked me to verify my address which I told they had correct. I have repeated ask them to cancel that check and overnight me a new one. But no one in the company will respond specifically to that request nor have they said they will send me a new check.Desired Settlement: A check delivered overnight via [redacted] or [redacted] with the tracking number provided to me.

We are in receipt of a complaint made to the Revdex.com, case number [redacted]. This issue was resolved when we sent Mr. [redacted] a copy of his cancelled check on June 5, 2015, which he had signed and cashed on May 27th, 2015. He responded with an apology for his oversight. The check was mailed on May 12th, 2015. Please let us know what actions should be taken to clear this record. Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: I sent three used instruments to their company on June 5th and have yet to receive a refund payment check. The company said it would take 6-8 weeks to process and it has now been over 3 months. I lost over $200 and they still have my instruments. They do not respond to my phone calls or e-mails.Desired Settlement: I hope to either get back the instruments or get the money they still owe me.

Review: I sold my used equipment to them in Mid-September. After several months waiting on a check, I got payment November 12th. My bank returned the check to me because of NSF on November 20th. I have emailed them several times and most times got a reply. At this time I'm asking for my equipment back.Desired Settlement: a certified check or my equipment.

Review: Used Camera.com agreed via email and phone to purchase my [redacted] camera with accessories for $131.00 and promised to send the check in 6-8 weeks. It has now been 13 weeks and they have not responded to two emails and a phone call where I left a voice mail message. They never answer their phone, always voice mail.Desired Settlement: I expect a good check for the promised $131.00

Review: In January of 2013 I contacted Used Camera Buyer about buying some of my used camera equipment. I sent a description of the equipment and they issued a quote. The next step is that if you accept the quote you send them the equipment and they issue you a check for the amount. I sent them the equipment they inspected it and adjusted the quote a little lower than the original quote and notified me. I accepted the new quote and was told that I would receive a check in 4 to 6 weeks. This started 6 months ago. I have been in contact with them and have been given excuses as to the delay. Finally they said that my check would be processed on May 6, 2013. I have not received the check and they will not respond to my e-mails. I am pretty sure that I have been scammed. This company advertises in photography publications. Even if you can't help me I hope that they can be brought to light so that others will not be taken and maybe these photography publcations will not sell them advertising.Desired Settlement: I would like to get the money I was promised.

They sent me a [redacted] shipping label (Tracking #: [redacted]), and the company signed for the merchandise on 05 August 2013. As of 10 September, I have not received payment for the camera. I have called and left a message which they have not returned (it always goes to voice mail). I have emailed them multiple times, and they have failed to resolve the issues. On 21 August I emailed them, and their reply was that the buyer was meeting with billing to resolve the issues. I have not heard from him since. I emailed them yesterday, and this morning they sent me some form emails stating that I had yet to ship the items. I emailed them a screen capture of the [redacted] confirmation of delivery.Desired Settlement: I request immediate payment of $23.65 for the camera in question or an immediate return of the original merchandise to me.
