This is not acceptable because there is not A Value City Furniture Store in my city, near my city nor in the my state or surrounding areaWouldn't make better sense and business sense to either send a check or replace the setWhat good is a store credit if there is not a store in our area Also If we were to order a set online the shipping alone would probably cost much as what they are trying to offer

On 11/17/2013, Ms [redacted] purchased the Cobra Brown recliner and Cobra Brown sofas Ms [redacted] also purchased the 7-piece Westin dinette with sideboard This merchandise was delivered to Ms [redacted] ’s residence on 11/29/ Additionally, Ms [redacted] purchased the 7-year Leather Protection Warranty The issues Ms [redacted] has described in her inquiry would not be covered under her active Leather warranty Ms [redacted] did not purchase any extended manufacturer warranties and therefore; only had the 1-year manufacturer’s warranty that expired on 11/29/2014.In the interest of Customer Service, the General Manager has spoken with Ms [redacted] and offered a full refund of her Fabric Protection warranty I apologize for any inconvenience Ms [redacted] may have experienced If Ms [redacted] has any further questions or concerns she may contact me direct

On 06/18/16, Mr [redacted] purchased the Mammoth Gray Power Recliner with the Pure Promise warrantyThe merchandise was delivered to Mr***’s residence on 04/22/16.After reviewing Mr***’s complaint I have confirmed with the store Manager that we offered Mr [redacted] a replacement recliner and he denied the offerAt this time we have offered Mr [redacted] to return the recliner for a full refund and Mr [redacted] has accepted A refund check has been submitted for Mr***.I apologize for any inconvenience Mr [redacted] may have experienced If Mr [redacted] has any further questions or concerns he may contact me direct

It is not accurate They were to deliver the replacement for the other damaged piece on 9/ That did not happen After speaking to the store manager George we are again scheduled to bring the replacement piece on 9/

On 05/24/2015, Ms [redacted] purchased the Milano Cream 2-piece sofa and love seat This merchandise was delivered to Ms [redacted] ’s residence on 06/02/2015.On 07/01/2015, Ms [redacted] reported the presence of bedbugs Ms [redacted] was advised that there would need to be an inspection completed by [redacted] through our National [redacted] account On 07/02/2015, [redacted] went out to inspect Ms [redacted] ’s residence The initial inspection report stated bedbugs were found in the primary room in the bed frame and headboard.According to this inspection report, Value City Furniture would not be responsible for reimbursement other than the extermination and refund of the merchandise purchasedEven though we were not responsible according to the inspection report, we have paid for the extermination of Ms [redacted] ’s residence, in the amount of $and refunded the entire cost of the merchandise in the amount of $to Ms [redacted] ’s Visa Credit CardWe will not be reimbursing any additional requests.I apologize for any inconvenience Ms [redacted] may have experienced If Ms [redacted] has any further questions or concerns she may contact me direct

We have given the business over months To resolve this complaint They have yet to even make efforts to have this resolved My wife and I have had called and reach out to the store multiple times I do not feel confident that they will resolve this issue

On 04/21/2013, Ms [redacted] purchased of the Park City Chocolate glider recliners This merchandise was delivered to Ms [redacted] ’s residence on 05/31/2013.I apologize for any confusion Ms [redacted] may have experienced regarding her warranty and what is included According to the section “What this service plan covers” it states; if the Administrator considers the covered Product(s) to be beyond economic repair, then an in-store credit will be given based upon the original Purchase Price minus a usage fee Ms [redacted] was not charged a usage fee as stated in the warranty details but was offered a full in-store credit for the amount she paid.Additionally, “Your receipt of an in-store credit will fulfill this Service Plan in its entirety, subject to specific state laws, and will cancel and discharge all further obligations under this Service Plan.” However, the Store Manager has offered a continuance of Ms [redacted] ’s warranty for an additional time period.Furthermore; according to the warranty; “You may be required to return the original Product(s) to the Administrator at Your expense” I apologize that Ms [redacted] ’s merchandise had several issues and had to be replaced; however, Ms [redacted] received a delivery service that we are unable to refund.If Ms [redacted] has any further questions or concerns she may contact me direct

I received a call from David F [redacted] on October 5, At first he was very upset that I contacted the Revdex.com and complainedHe seemed to have excuses for the accident, until I explained to him what happened He felt that I shouldn't have contacted the Revdex.com, but it seemed to be the only way to get any response from them We ended the conversation with he was going to be contacting lawn companies He also wanted me to find some companies also It is now October 14, I haven't heard back from them
