I just received another voice mail from Van Chevy asking me what they need to do to earn my business. Whatever steps they say they took to not call me, were not done. Call was at 3:56pm PDT today (4-25-2018).

Mr. [redacted] purchased a 2004 Chevrolet Corvette from Van Chevrolet on 4/29/15. On 5/26/15 Mr. [redacted] brought it to Van Chevrolet with a concern that the lumbar on the pass seat was not working. Van Chevrolet did not find a problem with the passenger seat lumbar. vehicle back to Van Chevrolet with a concern that his convertible top was loose and that the floor mats were missing from when he purchased it. Van Chevrolet did find that the trim panel was loose and installed the top securely into the clips. Van Chevrolet did try to order Chevrolet Factory floor mats for Mr. [redacted], however Chevrolet has discontinued them. If Mr. [redacted] would like an alternative set of floor mats, Van Chevrolet will reimburse him for the set. We apologize for any inconvenience. The repairs were not completed by Van Chevrolet however, I had to go to a different repair center. [redacted] agreed to pay out a certain amount and that amount was not fulfilled and I contacted her today to find out about the discrepancy and so far have not been able to reach her. Response to Revdex.com Complaint #[redacted]- [redacted]  We are in receipt of the complaint filed by Mr. [redacted] concerning services provided to him by our service department.  Upon investigating this matter, our service advisor clearly states to Mr. [redacted] that his vehicle was not getting a complete...

detail as part of his appointment, and the car needed to be clean upon dropping it off at the dealership in order for the Zaktek application to be applied correctly. As you can see from the attached invoice copy, Mr. [redacted] was not charged for the Zaktek protection in anyway. For him to ask for a full refund of services that were performed (oil change, tire rotation, alignment check, and multi-point inspection) seems hardly fair.  Mr. [redacted] himself in discussing the matter with our service advisor, complained about the exact same scenario/issue at another dealership. It seems that although fully explained to him, Mr. [redacted] is looking for services to be provided well beyond what he is paying for or is possibly just looking for "free" services to be performed by the dealerships. We, again, apologize for any inconvenience that Mr. [redacted] has encountered , but we don't believe he should be given a full refund as he was not charged for the services he is complaining about.  Regards,  Stephen F[redacted]Controller

Van Chevrolet did try to order factory floormats for Mr. [redacted] and General Motors has discontinued making them for his model year.
