That is funny because the customer service person I talked to on the telephone, told me that they do accept internet reservations and also telephone reservationsShe also went on to tell me that the company had been having problems with greyhoundWhy would I want to spend in gas to save dollars on a ticketAgain, Veterans Advantage is a scam, just by requiring a Vet or Student to pay a monthly fee for a discount is barbaric and falls below being an American patriotI will not visit any business that uses themWhen all I have to do is show my V.AId at most places
to get my disount
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,

Customer service was very helpful in what I needed to accomplish It was done with ease I am very happy with the service

I did not benefit much from my membership with Veterans AdvantageI don't travel much and I don't rent cars or trucksI don't stay in hotels or motels eitherTherefore all these discount offers are worthless to meMembership may be good for other vets, just not me

I emailed Veterans Advantage on 04/03/and called on 04/05/ I asked for a cancellation and refund of the fraudulent charges of $(03/04/2016) and $(04/03/2016)I was not notified in advance of these excessive charges and they were in no way authorized
The email response was a form email that was unhelpful and didn't address my concern I called and was told that I must fill out a refund form, which they mailed out The form does not address my concern as I am required to mail back the so-called "membership cards", which I have already destroyed I did not authorize the charge and shouldn't have to jump through these hoops, which are clearly designed to deter individuals receiving refunds

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** While the resolution (refund) is acceptable, I woukd wouldlike to clear up a number of problems with the organization's response to you. First, I can find no way to opt out of the organization's auto-renew systen onlineTheir PR people may bekieve it exists, but it is nowhere to be foundSo they need to stop misleading about that. Second, this setup appears to be designed to funnel calls to agents who will then attempt to talk people out of requesting a refund, which is annoyingI did go through this process, and was promised they would send a form for me to request a refund (why? if it can be done after a Revdex.com complaint, why not via phone request?)I strongly suspected I was being misled on this phone call, hence my third complaint. Third - Of course, the promised refund form never came in the mail, and I strongly suspect it was never sentMost people probably forget about these things, and that benefits those who engage in this sort of bad business behavior. I do accept the refund and appreciate the Revdex.com's help in obtaining itHowever, I would appreciate if this update could be appended to the record of this caseThanks!
Sincerely,

My refund request was handled in a most professional mannerCommunication during the process was good, so all expectations of the outcome were setVeterans Advantage is a good organization doing great things for those who served this countryI personally could not benefit enough from all the membership discounts to renew my membership this yearIf I was to travel more with more income, I would seriously consider reopening my membership account

There was an error with my account and I made an inquiry about itThe response time was great and error has been resolvedThank you very much!! My daughter and I both enjoy the benefits of my Veterans Advantage membershipI use it very often at home and as I travelThank you again!!

Great, proficient friendly and knowledgeable within a very short period of time the situation was resolvedThank you so much for your help

I have seen other Vets complain that Veterans Advantage was a rip-offThat's totally falseThey have partnered with countless businesses and companies to help Vets looking for the discounts many Vets fought for and deserveThey have very efficient service, fast customer service response time, and they give Vets an opportunity to learn about all of the rewards and perks honoring their serviceI highly recommend joining

I joined Veterans Advantage at the suggestion of the customer service Rep from *** *** to get the discountHaving tried to navigate through Verizon to get this I was flustered so I reached out to Veterans DiscountI had a online chat with Stacy who relayed all my info to VerizonThe next business day I got an email from Verizon telling me how to proceed and BINGO I got the discountThank You Veterans Advantage and Stacy

I joined Veteran's Advantage only for a trial period, so I am not still a memberI wanted to write a review, though, because they had one of the best customer service experiences I have dealt with in a while They answered emails promptly and immediately addressed any questions or problems I had I don't have much need for their benefits right now, but if I ever do in the future I will happily go back to Veteran's Advantage

The Veterans Advantage customer support team is outstanding and personal, in an era of robots and interminable phone trees I had gooned up my login and attempts to fix on my own made for a complex mess The Veterans Advantage customer support quickly unraveled the problem and restored my access which enabled me to plan an impending trip and take maximum advantage of the travel benefits Military veterans who plan to travel in retirement are wise to join Veterans Advantage

Tried to cancel my membershipFollowed directions per website an got nothing but minutes of advertising no humanTried second number on website it just rang until it timed outWant my membership cancelled and my credit car deleted from their records

I submitted a question through their "contact us" link and received a detailed response within 48hrsThey also sent me another email that showed that they enrolled me and had taken care of everything for me! This doesn't just say that they care, they show it!

Great work on solving my issue
