Antivirus Software was offered to the customer and after proper confirmation the order was placed All the proper guidelines were followed before processing the payment as without customer's permission or authorization no charges can be processedAs we can see that customer is looking for a refund of his money per the desired settlement, we have proceeded with the same. Hi,This is in response to the case # 11815690, the customer contacted one of our resellers in regards to some computer issue (Blue Screen) and he was offered support along with Virus Eraser Antivirus software which was included in the plan that the customer was offeredWe see that the
customer has paid $for - 'VMAK "Virus Removal" Computer Support with Virus Eraser Antivirus Software Computer Year' on 3rd of May, We apologise for the inconvenience caused but Virus Eraser do not call the customers even if they remove the product, if possible please provide the phone number from which you received the call and we will try our best to track that downAlso, Virus Eraser do not keep any card information of the customers as per our quality guidelines. First and foremost Virus Eraser is an Antivirus Software company which sells to the public, and also resellers and affiliatesWe have nothing to do with your customers compliant We have partners that work with
us (Just like *** has outlets that work with them) Please explain to your customer that we are a product not a tech support center!! we have many partners that work with us

But as mentioned in the comment there is a dispute which has been filed which puts the money on holdThe money is no longer available with Virus Eraser/Reseller anymore, if the dispute was not filed we would have been able to close the concern in case customer was not ready to continue with the services; we will have to wait for any update from bank's end to proceed further in resolving the issue.Thank you.Regards,Team Virus Eraser

This program forced its way onto my PC then charged me $500! I did not agree to this and I want my money back. This is absurd, and such a giant scam. It locked me out and gave itself as the only option then charged me hundreds of dollars. I demand a refund.

Virus Eraser is a scam! They are in cahoots with "MS Tech."

First a contact is made by "MS Tech." They are not actually affiliated with Microsoft.They proceed to make a mess of your computer when allowed remote access. Shortly thereafter you will be contacted by Virus Eraser. Virus Eraser will tell you they will repair the damage done by MS Tech.

Virus Eraser will try to sell you their "protection" services from a minimum of three years (about $1900) to a lifetime service of $3,980!
They will request information on your bank account and/or your credit card number. Do NOT provide any of these!
In our case, they created a fake check using our bank account number and a check number that we actually still had in our check book.

If you express interest in their services, without any warning, they will send you to Casper Antivirus or some other questionable organization.

Be very careful when on the Casper web site. Do not agree to anything or even register with Casper Antivirus! This is all part of a major scam.

WARNING! Have NOTHING to do with MS Tech or Virus Eraser. They will try everything possible to scam you!
Plus they will keep annoying you with phone calls indefinitely...

My mother just got scammed with the exact same thing! she does not own the Virus eraser program yet it popped up and said they were MS tech, exactly the same. Just found this article in my search. I would like to see the rebuttal from Virus Eraser (note in their broken english) to this.

"Malwarebytes are currently going all out to closedown US based Tech Support Scammers “Virus Eraser” which featured on my channel back in July. They say their ready to go all out and “be aggressive” with them to take them out.

Meanwhile, I have passed on more information to Malwarebytes regarding their fake addresses and shady information provided to “Companies’ House” in the UK. On their “Companies’ House” declaration in the UK both owners put their wrong date of birth down for records. I have provided Malwarebytes the link to the document containing this. I have also been investigating the companies’ relationship with another Scam company named “SupportBuddy” which in the past have pretended to be Microsoft.

“Advanced Technical Support” also have been hit hard and Malwarebytes is preparing to go all out and take them out. Their is currently a case against the company going through and Malwarebytes is confident of taking action quickly.

We also work with resellers / affiliates to process our sales. Virus Eraser does not warn you that they will transfer you to another organization, to supposedly perform computer protection for you.
Moreover, Virus Eraser will pressure you into purchasing their very highest and most expensive service package.
They will also create fake, fraudulent electronic "checks" that you still have in your checkbook and have not signed.
They still owe us over $3,900. If they were so honorable, they would simply have sent us a refund of our money. They have not done so. I have filed a complaint with the Internet Fraud Division of the US Department of Justice.
Additionally, Virus Eraser representatives will continue to harass you via telephone often and forever...

We are not a scam! Weare a bona fide software company for windows and the mac ([redacted]). We have resellers and partners that work with Virus Eraser Inc. and help our customers with tech support.  This customer signed
a digital signature for the services rendered at...

the price that he or she accepted for tech support not just software!! this was a bundle.  We have refunded this customer their full amount of their charge as we do with any customer.  This needs to be removedfrom this recored.

Actually, you resell your services without telling potential customers that you will do so.
Also, you use pressure tactics to get potential customers to buy outrageously expensive packages of "protection."
You have never refunded the more than $3,900 (!) that you fraudulently charged us.

And worst of all, you have kept harassing us with telephone calls continuously for several months.

The service I received was excellent.

Fraudulently "pleasant."--as many scammers are.
And then these pleasant people stick it to you!
When they are called on their unethical behaviour, they are not so pleasant.
One of these pleasant Virus Eraser reps yelled at me on the telephone: "Are you crazy!"

(No, I am sane. I just don't appreciate scammers).

I had problems with computer and firewall being installed. They fixed all of the problems.
