My satisfactory level is 0%. My monthly gas bill was about $9/ month. The lady from their marketing just told me that they are offering gas for 99 cents. Now I got the bill and I figured that it is not the 99 cents/ therms but 99 cents/day. Additionally PGE also deduct the bill. So now its total of around $40. I am really unhappy. I requested for cancellation through email. Because their customer service not even available on weekends when I actually need them.

Thank you for contacting  Vista Energy Marketing, a independent Natural Gas Supplier and a participator in the PGE Choice Program.   You will remain with [redacted] , on 2/16/2015 a block enrollment was submitted.  I got verification from [redacted] on 3/9/2015  that your gas supplier will continue with PG&E.   Please contact Vista Energy Marketing' s customer service department @  888-508-4782 so that we could further assist you.  You are not a customer of Vista Energy.   Please know that I did try to assist you.

I was tricked into believing my gas rates would be lower than [redacted] and it seemed they were for awhile. I did not realize that after a year they change the rates and you have to call and get rhe initial fixed rate back. I was astonished when my bill jumped to almost $500 and when I inquired about it I find out vista is charging me double and I am stuck with them for another billing cycle...don't use them!

After further review on 10/16/2015 @ 5:55 p.m. a [redacted] enrolled with Vista Energy.  [redacted] we have you on the [redacted] enrolling the account.  Please make your payment to [redacted]  Thank you for considering Vista Energy.

Vista Energy is in the business of criminal activity; specifically, elder abuse.
I have recently taken over the responsibility of paying my parents' bills, as they are elderly and do not speak English. After careful review of their [redacted] statement, I realized the amount due was much higher than it should be. I noticed a charge from Vista on the last page and called [redacted] to inquire.
The [redacted] representative informed me that Vista is a third-party company. My parents were paying Vista to use their gas and paying [redacted] to use their pipes to receive the gas. The [redacted] rep explained Vista's business practice: they show up, tell you they're with the energy company, ask to see your bill, record your account number, get your autograph, and effectively sign you up for their service. Most individuals would be able to deny this service. However, when you're elderly, you don't understand much English, and someone from the energy shows up and tells you to sign something - you do it.
After some calculation and confirmation from [redacted], my parents have been paying more than double what they would have had Vista's sales representative not preyed on my vulnerable parents. The Vista rep I spoke with (Chris) over the phone refused to assist me until I asked him if he was aware that this was, in fact, elder abuse. His tone immediately changed, he offered a "promotional rate" for the next three months, and then finally agreed to cancel my parents' contract with them... After informing me that Vista had been taking advantage of them since 2012.
How any company is still in business with these tactics is beyond me. Stay away from them. Call the police. Warn your elderly and/or non-English speaking relatives and friends. Take legal action.
