December 3, 2015Dear [redacted],
On behalf of Audi of America, Inc. ("Audi"), an organizational unit of Volkswagen Group of America, Inc., this letter will acknowledge receipt and respond to your request for the repurchase of your vehicle as a result of the recent news...

regarding emissions issues with certain AudiTDl vehicles. The trust of our customers and the public is our most important asset. While the service history of your vehicle does not meet state or federal requirements for a repurchase or replacement, please know that there are efforts underway to ensure that both your vehicle and your trust in our organization are remedied. A remedy of the TDI emissions issue is in the process of being developed and we greatly appreciate your patience during this time. As a measure of goodwill, Audi has communicated initial steps to show gratitude to owners of affected vehicles for their patience while long term measures are put into place. Information with regard to this goodwill offer can be found at www.audidieselinformation.com.
We apologize for any difficulties you may be experiencing, and wish to assure you that once a remedy has been determined for the relevant vehicles, the owners of those vehicles will be contacted. In the interim, please note that on September 18, 2015, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) stated that the emissions issues "do not present a safety hazard and the cars remain legal to drive and resell."
We will continue to work within the terms of any applicable manufacturer's warranties to address any verifiable concerns with your vehicle. If you experience any additional concerns with your vehicle, please contact an authorized Audi dealership to schedule a service appointment. Should there be additional information regarding your vehicle's service history that you would like us to consider, please contact Customer Resolution & Retention at ###-###-#### or [redacted].com.
Sincerely,
Customer Resolution & Retention

I am rejecting this response because: This is the same exact response I got the first time, same date and everything. I requested help and assistance with this issue as this is a major safety issue and I am not pleased with the coy response. Please re-review, I will not cancel this request or accept insufficient responses. The cost of this repair is beyond unacceptable and I will continue to be a thorn in your side (unacceptable) until something compromisable is resolved
Regards,

Dear Revdex.com:
In response to [redacted]'s complaint regarding his 2012 [redacted] we did want to let [redacted] know that a response has already been given to him by our Customer Care Center. From the complaint it looks like the dealer is willing to provide some assistance to the customer as the...

vehicle was purchased well outside of any applicable warranty VW would not be able to further assist with the repairs. We do encourage [redacted] to visit the dealer if they are willing to assist him since he did purchase the vehicle from the dealer.Sincerely, Adrian G

This is in response to the claim submitted by Mrs. [redacted] regarding her 2014 [redacted]. At this point there has been l repair and as the customer states the vehicle currently has no issues. If Volkswagen was aware of a specific issue affecting our vehicles to the point where a recall was needed...

Volkswagen would do so prodciively. The customer does still have a significant amount of warranty left on her vehicle and we would not be able to offer an extended warranty due to 1 repair. If Mrs. [redacted] has future warrantable repairs she is more than welcome to fake the vehicle to any of our certified Volkswagen dealers for repairs.Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:This is unacceptable. Can they provide a technical reason why this feature cannot be activated? There are many videos on [redacted] that show people ave activated this feature on the same model that I have. The only change is to a code number.
See documentation here: [redacted]
I would like a technical explanation of why this cannot be done. What errors will it cause? Why would it work in some countries and not others? That makes no sense. Especially why would VW dumb-down one of it's larger markets like the US? There are reports of VW technicians enabling this for customers.
Regards,

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Mr. or Mrs Adrian G[redacted] is trying to place a mileage on my car on when it should be repaired. If you look at the mileage when I brought it in , they did not say it had to many miles we cannot repair it then so that argument of to many miles should be struck from the record. My car was brought in for repair in May, the car is not overheating now but the temperature gauge is not working properly which is what I told them when I brought it in because it was not working it caused my car to overheat. I have almost gone through the entire Winter with no heat, if taken to court I will sue for pain and suffering as well. My kids should not have to suffer because of someone else mistakes. We cannot continue to let these dealerships take our money when there is a repair to be done but when it is determined  that the repair was not done correctly they begin to say its to many miles on the car to make any repairs. Again that sounds like an very arrogant and ignorant statement. If I choose to drive my car for a million miles that my choice and noone else. I brought the car in for repair with over 200,000 thousand miles and paid over 1300.00 to have it repaired and really don't know if anything was repaired because my gauge is still not working properly, but noone refused to do the work. This is an unacceptable response from VW. It appears they have a problem in paying their claims, even the claims from the sunroof leaks we are still waiting on those claims to be paid. Bottom line they seem to find any and every way not to pay for things that they have messed up or didn't do. Again I bought this car brand new and will drive it as long as I want so please don't tell me I can't get it repaired when I need to, just fixed what you didn't repair.
Regards,
