We have thoroughly reviewed the data usage of Audi Connect for your vehicle. The Product Support Subject Matter Expert was involved, as well as Audi Connect regarding your data usage and found the usage within manufacturer specifications and found no defect within your vehicle is present.Your vehicle uses our MBB server in Germany for Audi connect. Because of this, every time the car is turned on, it will make a connection to this server to check for license changes, new map updates and also to log into the myAudi server. If you do not want the car to consume data then you may disengage the SIM card from the MMI in the glovebox (SIM card can stay in the slot, however disengage it from the lock) or disable the data module in the MMI using Telephone>>Settings>>Data Connection>>Turn off Data module (it's the last item at the bottom, so you would need to scroll all the way down). Please keep in mind, when you start your vehicle and Audi Connect logs into the server in Germany, there is a time difference of 9 hours between Germany and Washington, so it may appear as a different date on your usage statement; hence appearing as there could be a discrepancy when there actually is not.Audi will continue to work within the terms of any applicable warranties to address any verifiable concerns.

This will acknowledge receipt and response to the Revdex.com complaint dated August 1, 2016 regarding your vehicle. We sincerely apologize for any service-related difficulties you may have experienced with the vehicle. We have thoroughly reviewed the service history of your vehicle....

From: [redacted]<[redacted].com>Date: Thu, Mar 2, 2017 at 1:07 PMSubject: Fw:Complaint #[redacted] You have a new message from the Revdex.com of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania in regards to your complaint #[redacted].I started a new claim with your organization because I didn't think it was possible to reopen a case; my sincere apologies.I started a new claim because there hasn't been any resolve.  Volkswagen purposely takes a long time to come up with some kind of answer that there is an expiration with you guys.  Whether or not the experience was negative or positive, I had the intention of following up for the sake of other consumers.Since my first claim, I've been to the dealership 4 more times.  The resolve was to add more insulation to my car to be a buffer to not overheat the infotainment system.  I will admit that it takes longer before it shuts off, but when it does, it worse than what it was prior to them "fixing" it.  I sent a video to Laura S. from the reply of my Revdex.com claim and she took 10 days to tell me to go back to the dealership to get it fixed.  They aren't trying to work with me.  If I need to make a claim with the dealership, I can for them as well. -[redacted]

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:25% is not enough given that the car was FALSELY sold to me as not under warranty even though it was still in that 80,000 mile range. They also failed to mention that it had 2 tests done on it previously. I feel this warrants a 50% cost coverage from Audi.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:This is just a form letter response. Volkswagen has yet to show me in any way how they care about customers. Volkswagen remains silent, and refuses to help its customers. I am now stuck with a worthless car, and Volkswagen apparently chooses to do nothing about it.

Dear [redacted]:
We apologize you are dissatisfied with our response to your RevDex.com complaint.  In the
original complaint, it stated you were looking for information as to when your offer
would be complete.  As such, you were
referred to the TDI Settlement Team, as they have access to your claim.  I have documented your concerns relating to
the time the settlement is taking, along with the treatment that was received
by the agents that you have spoken with.   These complaints are reviewed and analyzed
internally within Volkswagen Group of America.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the treatment you have received.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is a step in the right direction, finally.  Now the claim account is sitting in a Review status, waiting on VW.  Once VW has sent me the necessary paperwork to finalize the claim and handle the car, I'll be more than happy to close this complaint.  I really appreciate the Revdex.com's help with this matter.  I was getting no where before this.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Rodent chewing normal plastic covering wire may or may not be under the manufacturer Volkswagen waranty unless volkswagen decide for cost reasons or to get environment and sustainability subsides from the government to use soy bean based plastic or coating to cover the wires in their cars without any disclaimer or any kind of warning when they sales or lease their vehicle. They should pick the tab and shut up.Like thousand of people I was not warned and I will let the world know starting with the Revdex.com of course but then I will dedicate 3 to 5 interns of my internet marketing firm to let the world know how VW take care of its customers as it is a shame (The harness replacement is over $6,500.00 and 3 weeks rental for repairs)I will also ask my friends from [redacted] to help me in the endeavour as they did pickup a part of the tab.
