We have investigated Ms***'s concerns regarding our telephone payment system and confirmed that the system is functioning correctlyIn order for the system to repeat a payment confirmation number, the caller must press the star (*) key immediately following the prompt that states, "To repeat your confirmation number, press star"
Upon careful review, we have confirmed that while a phone call was made to Volkswagen Credit on June 27, 2015, there is no record of a payment made for the above-referenced accountIf the customer has documentation that indicates a payment was made, we ask that she mail the documentation to P.OBox Libertyville, IL 60048-7498, or fax the document(s) to 847-281-so that we may further research her claim
Once the July invoice became delinquent, we made attempts to reach Ms*** by phone and via our Consumer Internet Message CenterOur records indicate that on September 1, 2015, the customer contacted our Customer Care department and made a payment to cover the past due July and August invoices
Audi Financial Services holds fair and accurate credit reporting in the highest regardRespectfully, due to the reasons set forth above, we are unable to agree to the customer's proposed resolution

I am rejecting this response because: I have returned calls twice to to Volkswagen credit and both times I have been hung on up by the representative I have tried to speak with I do not feel the company is in good faith trying to resolve the issue with me being overcharged The person "Mike" I did speak to prior to him hanging up on me tried to say the money was for expedited mailing services which I did not ask for I would have been more then happy to pay for a standard postage stamp for them to do paperwork but not overnight mail when there was no rush to complete the services nor was this requested

I am rejecting this response because:I have had voice messages from VW Credit, but I had not received the mailing from them that they had promised, so did not waste their time or mine. Requested docs were received last Saturday and I appreciate that they sent what I requested. However, I have emailed the Missouri Dept of Revenue after realizing VW Credit included use tax on remaining payments of my lease, which I believe may not be appropriate. Since I paid the full amount of sales tax on what amounts to the payoff amount (residual value less the unearned lease charges for remaining payments), I feel as though I have paid more sales/use tax than appropriateI will not attempt to call back VW Credit until such time I have an answer from MO Dept of RevenueIt is my thought that they may owe me sales tax collected at time of payoff. This may or may not offset property tax that they failed to collect at time of payoffOf interest in regard to property tax and lease terms; from Option to Purchase Before the End of the Lease Term on page 4: "Vehicle sale price will be the sum of"..."all officials' fees, taxes and other costs incurred for the purchase...and all other fees and charges then due under the Lease"
