they called and left a message to call back. I did. The person that answered the phone tried to tell me that it was accumulation of late fees and the amount they charge is 5% of the payment. All sounds fair axcept they've been charging much more than 5% EVERY month!!

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because Vw Credit, Inc. did nothing to "address" my issue. [redacted] with VW Credit, Inc. called specifically to state nothing would change. They continue to disable the ability of their customers to make payments online and update contact information online. They continue to not allow customers to leave voicemail messages when they don't answer their phones during normal business hours. They continue to not provide any information about how and when a web-form message will be returned. They refuse to take any responsibility for the harm their anti-customer policies do to their customers.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because my choices are to reject or accept, and nothing in between.  While I have now received the duplicate title, I was told that, even though VW could have confirmed the penalty, I will have to pay to the license bureau (MO Dept of Revenue) for late registration, and then must mail to them (and they did include a mailer through UPS) my receipt.  The explanation provided was that they didn't want to provide 'too little' to me, which I guess meant they would have closed the case?  I also think that represents that they bent over backwards to correct THEIR mistake; it wasn't mine at all.  Until that reimbursement is received, I am not yet in a position to consider this issue resolved.
Sincerely,
Jill [redacted]

Dear Ms. [redacted]
Thank you...

for the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted] C. [redacted]'s recent correspondence to the Revdex.com. We have reviewed the situation and are dedicated to ensuring that her concerns are addressed.
We regret to hear of Ms. [redacted]'s unsatisfactory experience. We have reviewed her request to have the payment of $865.31 towards the excess wear and tear charges refunded back in full. Our records indicate that the inspection charges are accurate and valid. The inspection took place 11 days prior to the vehicle being returned and in accordance to the lease agreement Ms. [redacted] has the ability to repair or replace any excess wear and tear items at a lesser cost than what is reflected on the inspection report. Unfortunately, this option was not exercised by Ms. [redacted].
We have reached out to Ms. [redacted] on April 30, 2015 to inform her of the valid inspection charges along with explanations of the previous repairs made incorrectly. The refund request for $865.31 will not be issued at this time due to the validity of the damages. We will issue a zero balance letter to Ms. [redacted] once the payment has been processed and the account has been completed.
If there are any further questions, please contact us at (XXX) XXX-XXXX, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Sincerely,

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/05/01) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The response from VW stated that I had the opportunity to repair or replace excess wear and tear within the 11 days between the inspection and the lease return. VW completely failed to address my complaint, which is that there IS NO EXCESS WEAR AND TEAR.
VW's non-answer here is inappropriate, and avoids the actual issue in the complaint. Inspectors said there was excess damage. I disagreed. They told me to take it up with the dealership. I did. The dealership agreed there was no excess wear and tear. I was still billed for excess wear and tear.
I did not "exercise my option" to repair or replace excess wear and tear because both VW's dealership and I agreed there IS NOTHING TO REPAIR. Your own dealership agrees.
If this is a pattern of VW's business practice, this needs to be addressed. If not here, in a court of law. If VW bills it's former customers even when the dealership feels it's unethical, we have a problem. There was clearly no investigation or thought put into thier response to my complaint. It failed to address the single issue that was presented.
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2015/05/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I did ask that they stop contacting me, simply because I was being told the same thing repeatedly and it was unproductive. My primary point here was to ask VW to acknowledge that I was provided with inaccurate information and to respond to that. They have now, finally acknowledged it. I believe this is a fair compromise, an acknowledgement of VW's lack of initial response to inaccurate information, and the 25% is enough for both of us to avoid litigation.

Dear Ms. [redacted]
Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted] C. [redacted]'s recent rebuttal.
We regret to hear of Ms. [redacted]'s dissatisfaction to the previous response. In attempts to further address this concern, Volkswagen Credit, Inc. has offered to provide images of the valid excessive wear and tear to Ms. [redacted] on [redacted] 8, 2015. The offer was declined and a request was made to no longer be contacted.
As indicated in Ms. [redacted]'s Lease Agreement, VW Credit, Inc. is the owner of the leased vehicle and specifies excessive wear based on Volkswagen Credit, Inc. standards of normal use. Per the lease agreement, the lessee agrees to repair or compensate Volkswagen Credit, Inc. for any loss or damage to the vehicle which occurred during the lease.
One of our number one priorities is customer satisfaction and Volkswagen Credit, Inc. recognizes that Ms. [redacted] was provided with inaccurate information. As a gesture of goodwill, Volkswagen Credit, Inc. will refund 25% of the $865.31 previously requested for the total amount of $216.33. The refund check will be mailed out to address of [redacted] St., [redacted] MA XXXXX and [redacted] take up to 2-3 weeks for delivery.
If there are any further questions, please contact us at (XXX) XXX-XXXX, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Sincerely,

Revdex.com:
The business has promised to settle the dispute in the way I have suggested and has taken some steps towards that. They have accepted payment for the account and issued a letter confirming the account now is paid in full. They promised they will remove the negative entry from my credit report within 30 to 60 days. This correction of my credit report is what I'm awaiting before I can call the dispute resolved.
Sincerely,
Andriy [redacted]

The issue was NOT resolved.   I'm in the process of going thru all my payment to prove that we were NEVER late paying the lease loan.  We were offered and had approved three deferment which have been paid not just on time but ahead of time.  We will be returning the lease in July/August as per the contract and moving on to another company that knows how to provide customer service.Complaint: [redacted]
