Wade Jurney denied my request to test the mold in my home. The concern is that the mold is growing in the same proximity as my air handler. I was told by Aaron that I would need to do hire someone to do the testing on my own if that is what I wanted. I outsourced and hired [redacted] to come in. The testing was completed and Penacilis mold was found throughout our home with elevated counts. I called Wade Jurney to inform and now they are interested in performing there own testing. [redacted] and their air quality specialists have provides Wade Jurney a report of the testing and what needs to be done to properly remove the mold in our home and ensure it is out of our air system. Wade Jurney has told us they will just come in and cut out the drywall where the mold has grown and steam clean the carpet (steam cleaning mold growing in a carpet does not make logical sense as the steam and moisture will continue to allow it to grow). We were informed by [redacted] and the Air quality specialist that simply cutting out the drywall will not resolve the problem. The air system must be cleaned and the rest of the house as well to remove the mold correctly. We are awaiting a response as to how and if they will handle this correctly.

Wade Jurney Homes is continuing to address the concerns and working toward an amicable solution as quickly as possible.

Every customer is very important and Wade Jurney Homes makes every effort to address valid concerns.  Wade Jurney Homes has addressed the slider door gap by readjusting the door on 8/10/17, the slider is made to use in multiple applications for which the product meets the intended use.  The plumbing and electrical issues were resolved on or around 7/28/17, the drywall issues were resolved on 8/17/17 as well.  The carpeting contractor has met with Ms [redacted] on 8/17/17 and her husband regarding the concerns for the carpet seams, carpet tacks and vinyl and a proposed time during the week fo 8/28 - 9/1  to perform agreed upon corrections.  Wade Jurney Homes has offered to supply a different style AC filter to minimize dust in the air as dust occurs naturally in the environment.  The yard we can not control regarding growth, shrinking or changes due to rain or lack there of.  Sod is cut from a field, the sod grows differently with each piece, Wade Jurney Homes can not control what is in the dirt from which the sod was cut, nor can Wade Jurney Homes control every item that might or might not be buried in the soil used to establish the home site.  Wade Jurney Homes buyers are given the opportunity to contract with a third party inspector during the final portions of the home construction for which we label as a "home inspector", they buyers did not chose this option, the home meets all local and state inspection points and has been issued a certificate of occupancy.

To whom it may concern - In reference to the aforementioned complaint from the owner of a WJH home in reference to plot plan differentiation from lot size - this concern is being addressed with our legal representatives to try and come up with a remedy. The complaint stated that it was deliberate; when in fact, it was not. WJH receives plot plans from a professional engineering service in which we locate/fit our homes on the lots. In this instance, it appears as if the surveyor (no longer working with WJH) pulled a previously recorded plat of the community (not the most recent) in which the lot size differed. We are and will continue to try and rectify this in any way possible.  thank you.

The countertop has still not been resolved, the carpet, though they came out and tried to restretch it is still unresolved, both things Chad is aware of, however has not gotten any answers

In our last phone conversation we discussed the cabinet company has made the top but they will be installing the top along with other items you ordered from them directly. This was agreed upon between you and the cabinet company. As I explained regarding the carpet our installation company feels that the carpet has been installed per manufacturers' specifications. The paperwork has been filed to have an independent inspector come out to do an onsite inspection. It is my understanding you have provided the information to the claims department and the process is in motion. If any of this is incorrect please feel free to contact me directly.

We have never discussed the countertop being cut or ordered, the only thing discussed in our last conversation, which was over 2 weeks ago was that Jason from the cabinet company had contacted me and promises to make things right, I never said anything about any agreement between myself and the cabinet company. As far as the carpet is concerned, I have seen no paperwork filed, I have never been asked to give any information for a claim, nor have I spoken to a claims department. Perhaps if you would contact me to verify that the information you have is correct, we would not have these misunderstandings, the lack of communication is uncanny, Again, this complaint goes back to my original statement Wade Jurney has zero sense of urgency and show no signs of truly caring about their customers complaints, I should be getting weekly phone calls until all issues are resolved not have to hunt people down to try to get answers

I am rejecting this response because:I agree that my complaint should not have been a warranty request, but rather a poor workmanship issue that has to be corrected.  Paperwork that I initially received from Wade Jurney Homes the sales office stated that my driveway/garage would be located on the right side of my home.  I contend that the driveway/garage was placed on the left side of the home because of the problem of the slope of the yard on the right side.  They chose not to fix the problem.  I further contend that the builder/developer should have informed me that I wouldn't have a side yard and I would have chosen a different Lot.  According to a professional landscaper that I asked to look at the area and give me his professional opinion, the area was absolutely never graded which is the responsibility of the builder.
