Wakefield and Associates (WA) has investigated the complaint filed by [redacted] on 9/13/2017.  Our client Emergency Services Physicians placed an account with WA on 8/18/2017 for physician services rendered to [redacted] at [redacted] Medical Center on 6/29/2013.  WA has reviewed...

the documents [redacted] sent to WA.  Unfortunately it appears [redacted] may be confused about who our client is, the documents sent in by [redacted] is for the facility charges and does not cover the physician charges.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: First, there was no attachment of any kind specifying your charges. I think I should win outright based on the fact you can't show a bill. Secondly, it's blatantly ridiculous that you go to a hospital, and the hospital is willing to treat you, but there is this separate shadow group that never gets told anything by the hospital and wants their money. Do you go to a restaurant and pay a separate bill for the waiter, and a separate one for the cook? If they were a legitimate group, don't you think the hospital would have explained who they were, after the multiple times I told the hospital I was still being harassed? This is nothing more than a group run amok, and I'm asking you to shut them down, undo everything they've done, and drive them from the market. These are not people anymore, they're heartless demons trying to suck marrow from the poor.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Wakefield & Associates (WA) has reviewed the complaint filed by [redacted] on 3/24/2018 and offers the following response.  WA has has made a business decision to request the account for [redacted] for services rendered on 1/29/2014 to be withdrawn from credit...

reporting.  The request was submitted on 4/2/2018.

The resolution is for treatment of customers to be improved, so an acknowledgement from the Management of Wakefield & Assoc. that they are striving to improve the communications with phone customers, along with a formal apology is requested.  There is no need to monetarily compensate us, as...

we owed for medical services to [redacted].  Wakefield & Associates could acknowledge to us that they will ensure better training of their employees, not encourage condescending, rude employees and apologize to me.Thank you for you attention to this matter.[redacted]

Wakefield & Associates is unaware of [redacted] relationship with [redacted], however, the fact that the dates of service and amounts placed with [redacted] are different that those place with our office may mean that [redacted] has placed different accounts with [redacted] than those placed with our office.  We received the attached documents from [redacted] on 11/21/2016, which are actual invoices related to the accounts placed with our office for collection. Only 4 of the 5 invoices are attached because that is the limitation for attachments on the Revdex.com portal.    These are generated after the account is placed for collection, and are produced to show that the account was written off or placed with a collection agency for collections. This is a generally accepted accounting practice which allows the provider to reconcile its books. The accounts are moved via this process from active accounts relievable to bad debt. The fact that the invoice shows .00 in the Outstanding Patient balance section does not mean that the patient does not owe the debt, it merely means that it was adjusted to bad debt, as shown in the Transaction Description column. Any difference in the balances in our system as they related to the balances placed for collection result from the accrual of interest on the accounts. As of today, we have returned these accounts to the original creditor. The consumer may wish to resolve these accounts directly with [redacted].

Wakefield & Associates (WA) has investigated the rejection provided to the Revdex.com by [redacted] and offers the following response. WA has not violated any federal or state laws and provided [redacted] our client itemization and documented his dispute accurately.  WA is not currently reporting this account to [redacted]'s credit.
